Iggy Azalea Signs To Interscope

I haven't really checked out any news sites in the past few days, so I didn't find out until today that Iggy Azalea signed with Interscope on Friday. That's what's up! I hope everything works out for her and her sweet Australian ass.

Her debut album, The New Classic, is slated to be released in June, but don't take that as a solid date just yet.

Ed Sheeran & Yelawolf - You Don't Know (For Fuck Sake)

If you've been checking out FiyahMuZik.com for awhile you just might remember Ed Sheeran from this performance I posted of him on the Foxxhole way back in 2010. Well he and Yelawolf are working on a joint EP called Slumdon Bridge. I'm obviously a fan of both, so I will definitely be checking for it, but first, let's get into this new track.

I already figured I would like this track before I pressed play, but that just confirmed it. Dope shit.

Casual Football Talk: Regular Podcast Edition

There's no games to pick this week, but here's a podcast to make up for last week's no show. This very well might be our best one yet (besides me saying the Cowboys had 8th round draft picks in '09 for some reason). We talked about my famousness, Drake and Common, Barack Obama's singing, March Madness, "Red Tails," Awkward Black Girl, donkey semen, fucked up girls, Aneesa of Real World Chicago, scouting young girls, and "Accouncements." Oh yeah, and this little game called football. Check it out:

I still can't believe Tye didn't tell me the title of the video had 2 C's instead of 2 N's. Friends, boy I tell ya lol.

Chris Rock Wants To Do Comedy Tour With Dave Chappelle

Holy shit, is that Chris Rock or Cornel West in 1993? Whatever, here's what Rock had to say about the potential tour:

"I've been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour," he told us. Those reports had surfaced briefly in October, but we'd heard nothing since then; is Rock really going to make this a reality? "You know I'm not the hard one," he said, laughing. "But I'm trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, 'Me and Dave should do this."

Wow, that would be amazing! I didn't even go to the Watch The Throne concert, but there is no way in the fucking world I would miss a Chris Rock/Dave Chappelle tour. No fucking way! Come on Dave, make it happen baby!

Diddy Planning On Starting A Cable Network

Here's the details:

Sean Combs, the entertainment impresario known as Diddy, is planning to launch a music-themed cable network, according to three sources with knowledge of his plans. The channel is called Revolt and is aiming to launch at the end of the year--12/12/12, to be specific.

Sources with knowledge of the Revolt playbook describe it as a music and music news channel with an urban skew. One described it as the old days of MTV, but for more of the African American audience. The venture is well funded, say the sources.

This is an excellent idea and I'm behind it 100%. You would be hard pressed to find something involving Diddy that I'm not willing to watch and this would be no exception. Besides, I can't wait to see what happens to the careers of on-air talent once their dropped from the network.

And with being said, here's a few original show suggestions for Revolt:

-"Remember Me?"
This would be a game show where contestants try to identify former Bad Boy artists through a series of questions.

-"REALigion with Shyne & Loon"
This would be a religious talk/debate show hosted by the 2 rappers Diddy drove deep into religion, Shyne and Loon.

-"The PerSUIT"
This would be a reality competition show to find the next great suit maker, of course hosted by Chopper. (Yes, it will be in his contract that he will have to wear the original Chopper Suit in every episode.)

Diddy, you're welcome.

NFL Winners & Losers: Championship Round

No podcast this week (I'm obviously far too famous to be podcasting... kidding!), but I can't go without making my picks. So what's it gonna be? A Super Bowl XXXV rematch? A Super Bowl XLII rematch? A Super Har-Bowl? I don't know, but let's get to the picks!

First off, how is this the first game? Giants-Niners will be good, but this game should be better. Oh well, whatever.

Even though New England looked better than it actually is last week because they played Denver and Baltimore looked worse than it actually is last week because they played Houston, I just can't see myself picking against the Patriots. I already thought the addition of Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, and Wes Welker from the last playoff matchup between these 2 was enough to put the Pats over the top, but the fact that Ed Reed saw fit to call out Joe Flacco this week cemented it. Patriots winners, Ravens losers.

I don't even know what else to say, but start preparing for a rematch of Super Bowl XLII. Giants winners, 49ers losers.

This Week: 2-0 (1.000)
Playoff Record: 7-3 (.700)
Overall Record: 164-102 (.617)
Last Week: 2-2 (.500)
Regular Season Record: 157-99 (.613)

The Woman With 2 Vaginas Gets $1 Million Porn Offer

First off, her husband is the luckiest man on Earth, seeing as how he's able to cheat on his wife with his wife and have threesome without worrying about her getting jealous.

Now to the porn offer: $1 million? Really, that's it?!? The woman has 2 pussies and you're gonna offer her what Sony gave Kreayshawn to be terrible and not release an album? What the fuck? Who wouldn't pay to see the first ever all vaginal DP porno or the first ever TP (triple penetration)? Oh yeah, I know who: Nobody.

Stop being idiots and offer this bitch $10 million, Vivid!

Now the only thing left to be determined is the title of the flick. I like "Mo Vaginas, Mo Problem," but I don't see how they don't go with "2 Vaginas, 1 Girl." That's a winner. Done and done.

The Internet - Fastlane

Did I ever mention how much I love The Internet and their album Purple Naked Ladies? Well I do, and Syd Tha Kyd is now threatening Frank Ocean for the #2 spot on my "Favorite Odd Future Member" rankings (behind Tyler, of course).

Anyway, here's a few things I loved about this video:

-(0:30) The driver of the truck they stole not noticing Syd walking around to his side of the car.
-(1:41) The girls pulling up to rob the gas station, but not stealing any gas (the truck must run on lezzy love).
-(2:43) The decision to rob the diner in the middle of nowhere, that is inexplicably filled with hipsters.
-(3:07) Said inexplicably hipster-filled diner having a neat stack of money in its old-timey cash register (because you know how those diners in the middle of nowhere are racking in the dough).
-(3:18) The girls figuring they only needed to change shirts to become unrecognizable to the cops.
-(3:36) It going from daylight to sunset in the brief time they were in hipster's diner.
-(0:00) And of course figuring out Syd's cute girlfriend had to have evaded the cops on foot since Syd showed up in their stolen truck (which the cops oddly didn't seize) in The Internet's video for Cocaine.

NFL Winners & Losers: Divisional Round

It's that time again! Enjoy the podcast, it's a really good one.

For me, this was easily the hardest game to pick, great offense vs. great defense. I think New Orleans' offense is just a touch better than San Francisco's defense, and the weather won't be as much a factor as everyone thinks. Saints winners, 49ers losers.

Look at the picture above. Isn't that the saddest Tebow you've ever seen? Unfortunately, I have a feeling we'll see being a lot more Sad Tebowing after this game. Patriots winners, Broncos losers.

I'm glad the Texans got their first playoff win last week, but all good things must come to an end. Besides the fact the Ravens have won 15 of their last 16 games in Baltimore (including a 8-0 record at home this season), I just don't see rookie QB T.J. Yates going on the road and winning a playoff game. Ravens winners, Texans losers.

I'm almost 100% positive the Packers are going to win this game and you want to know why? Because waaaaay too many people think the Giants can/will win. Name me one other #1 overall seed that has been doubted as much as the defending Super Bowl champion Packers? You can't. Packers winners, Giants losers.

This Week: 2-2 (.500)
Playoff Record: 5-3 (.625)
Overall Record: 162-102 (.614)
Last Week: 3-1 (.750)
Regular Season Record: 157-99 (.613)

When you're Jay-Z you don't have to save great records like this for your album, you can just put them out whenever. Only downside to this is that it makes me want a new Hov album like yesterday.

In other Blue Ivy news, a Brooklyn man is demanding an apology from Jay-Z and Beyonce because their security guards allegedly kept him from seeing his newborn twins in Lenox Hill Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit. Good luck with that, random guy.

Quick question, when did everyone become self-entitled pricks who needed an apology every time something happened to them? Okay, you were inconvenienced, now you need an apology from the 2 people who most likely had little-to-nothing to do with you being inconvenienced? Why? And let's say you do get your apology, then wait? Will the clouds part and candy will fall from the sky? No, you'll just go on living your regular ass life, so shut the fuck up and stop trying to get attention!

A grown ass man demanding an apology? He must be out his gotdamn mind. At least be a real nigga about it and demand to be blown by Beyonce, but don't demand a damn apology.

Common vs. Drake: Who Won?

Sigh. You might have been wondering why I haven't talked much about this Common/Drake "beef" and the answer is because I don't care. I didn't care when Common tried to sneak diss Drake on Sweet to help move units, I didn't care when Drake was on stage acting like he was 'bout that life in from of a crowd of his supporters, I didn't care when Common finally admitted he was dissing Drake, and I don't care now that real bars have been laid down. I just want you all to realize how much I truly don't care about this lame ass beef over nothing, and that I'm only addressing it because it's my duty as the self-appointed Hip-Hop Czar. Okay, where do I begin....

(If you're only interested in hearing Drake's diss, click here to skip to where you need to be.)

First off, what's with niggas dissing niggas on tracks with other niggas who have nothing to do with it, and aren't at all involved? That's lame. If you're gonna diss somebody, stand on your own and diss them, don't sandwich it in between 2 irrelevant verses on someone else's project. The only way that's acceptable is if it's a quick jab (i.e. the possible slight jab Jay-Z took at Lil Wayne on H.A.M.), so that's a strike against Drake.

Okay, now let's get into these bars:

Drake's Verse
(Drake's lyrics come courtesty of KillerHipHop.com and fixed by me)
It bothers me when the Gods get to acting like the broads
Guess every team doesn't come complete with niggas like ours
That's why I see no need to compete with niggas like y'all
I just ask that when you see me you speak up, nigga that's all
Don't be duckin' like you never wanted nothin'
It's feelin' like rap changed, there was a time it was rugged
Back when if a nigga reached it was for the weapon
Nowadays niggas reach just to sell they record
Spaghetti Bolognese in Apollo Lounge
Me and my G from DC that's how I roll around
Might look light, but we heavy though
You think Drake will pull some shit like that, you never know
Million dollar meetings in Apollo Lounge
Me and my man Oliver North, that's how I roll around
Shorty wanna tell me secrets 'bout a rap nigga
I tell a bitch it's more attractive when you hold it down
Kobe 'bout to lose a hundred-fifty M's
Kobe my nigga, I hate it had to be him
Bitch you wasn't with me shooting in the gym
(Bitch you wasn't with me shooting in the gym)
Tell Lucien I said fuck it, I'm tearing holes in my budget
Bag her like we in Publix, and take her ass out in public
Ordered it a filet, tell her butterfly it, she'll love it
She used to soda and nuggets, she really just out here thuggin'
I'm just hittin' my pinnacle, you and pussy identical
You like the fuckin' finish line we can't wait to run into you
But let me get my mind off that
Young rich muthafucka getting mine off rap
With my niggas

Very well done overall, but you can see where this verse being a feature conflicts with it being a diss for Common. The actual disses were strong, but the other non-Common related lyrics outshined them, if you ask me. The part about Kobe was strong, the part about hoes telling rapper's secrets was strong, the part about homegirl being used to soda and nuggets was strong, and I don't even know what Apollo and/or Appolo Lounge is, but I'm sure we'll hear a bunch folks talking about it now that Drake rapped about it, like they did with Moscato after Drake mentioned it on Say Something.

I love the verse, but Drake needs to stay on topic in future disses, or at least not make the other portions better than the main course. Strike #2.

Oh yeah, and stop trying to act tough, Drake. You're Drake. That's strike #3.

Now on to Common's diss to Drake:

(Common doesn't start rapping until deep into the track, so feel free to click here and get to the fucking point.)

I can't go a step further without talking about Common's diss song artwork. What the fuck is that shit?! How small was the original file where it's all pixelated and fucked up after being stretched to 540x329? This track couldn't just be released without artwork (if he is indeed responsible for it...which I hope he isn't and a fan created it)? That's the second strike against Common right there (the first was obviously starting this "beef" to get some buzz).

Another strike against Common is the fact that he put his verse waaay at the end of the song and made us wait for it. Nigga, just get the beat and spit your shit at the beginning, don't make us listen to the whole song again just to get to your 16.

Now that I got that off my chest, let's go to the lyrics:

Common's Verse
(Common's lyrics come courtesy of RapGenius.com, again fixed by me)
My motto is: Chicago, bitch
Everybody know you sweet, what the problem is?
Don't play dumb, I'm the one that acknowledged it
Son of a bitch, I imagine what your father is
She said, "How you make your opponent
The rapper of the moment?" His style, he don't own it
Acting all hard when he hardly like that
You gon' mess around and make me catch a body like that
Ohhhh! Don't do it
Because every song you make Joe is really ho music
I heard you said you wasn't a bitch because you sing
You a bitch because you cling like a bitch that's eighteen
Can't say my name, but rap about a nigga's wife
You so black and white, trying to live a nigga's life
I'm taking too long with this amateur guy
You ain't wet nobody, nigga, you Canada Dry

Short, but also nicely done...well besides the slightly off beat delivery of the last punchline. Don't get me wrong though, that Canada Dry line was still the hardest bar spit by either.

After what Drake did, it's commendable that Common actually focused on Drake for the entirety of his verse. The only part I don't get is why Common is trying to accuse Drake of not saying his name when he started the "beef" while not saying Drake's name on Sweet? Yeah, he acknowledged who he was talking about on the radio with Sway, but that came after how many months and countless interviews denying it was aimed at anyone? That's lame, and a fourth strike against Com.

And The Winner Is...
Dark skinned brothas! In this battle over nothing by these 2 light skinned niggas, the obvious winner is dark skinned dudes. Not only are they helping promote a dark skinned man's music with their bickering (in this case Rick Ross), but they're making all my dark skinned brothas everywhere look good. This is just more proof that light skinned niggas will never be back in style.

Now, who's ready to start the "Stop Light Skin On Light Skin Crime" campaign with me??

(Side note: If I really had to pick a winner, it would be Drake. Nope, not for his verse, but for the simple fact that Common started it, and comes off looking the worse in the end. Common is a legend and shouldn't need petty riffs with guys like Drake to promote his music.

And besides that, it's so many actually wack rappers Common could've called out for ruining Hip-Hop that it makes me sick he decided to pick on Drake. He can't call out 2 Chainz or Future for making terrible music, but he can call out Drake? And that's so laaaame.)

Crazed Fans Jump On Stage With DMX

Damn, first buddy got yoked up before he could get a good 2 feet on stage. I also love how "rolled up sleeves because I mean business" security guy threw the last dude off the side of the stage Uncle Phil-style. That shit was pretty darn ill if you ask me.

These crazy white kids are just lucky they ran on stage with calm 2012 DMX because if they would've happened to crazy 1999 DMX I have a feeling it would've went a little like this.

Anyway, remember when MGK and DMX were in the studio together awhile back, but here's the fruit of their labor (or whatever you can make out of it at least).

Quick question: Is the following video just a creepy promo or the creepiest promo? I can't decide.

NFL Winners & Losers: Wild Card Weekend

Last week I went 12-4 to barely escape 100 failed picks on the season, and ended up with an overall record of 157-99. (Now that's what I call clutch!) Just in case you were wondering, I went 154-102 in 2010, 167-88 in 2009, and 106-62 in 2008 when I didn't start picking game until Week 5.

Anyway, let's get to the podcast and some quick picks and reasons I couldn't care less about these games.

Can I get a quick show of hands of who had Andy Dalton and T.J. Yates starting in playoffs games before the season. Anybody? Anybody?

Anyway, Houston just beat Cincy in Week 14 in Cincy, so I'm gonna take them to pull it out again in front of a Houston crowd going bananas about getting their first NFL playoff game since the '93 Oilers. Texans winners, Bengals losers.

(Side note: Just know I'm terrified by the possibility of Jake Delhomme entering this game for Houston.)

All you need to know about this game is that the Lions just let Matt Flynn throw for 480 yards and 6 touchdowns on them last week when they were trying. Oh yeah, and then there's that whole "facing Drew Brees after he shattered Dan Marino's passing record in the Superdome where the Saints are 8-0" thing, but I'm not sure it'll matter much. Saints winners, Lions losers.

People are talking about this Giants' season mirroring their 2007 Super Bowl winning season, but I'm not seeing it because they could inexplicably suck for no reason this week. Good thing the Falcons are the epitome of mediocre... Oh, and the fact the Giants haven't not played in their own stadium since Week 14. Giants winners, Falcons losers.

Ben Roethlisberger tweaked his ankle last week against Cleveland, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have to play for Pittsburgh to beat Denver Sunday. Steelers winners, Broncos losers.

This Week: 3-1 (.750)
Playoff Record: 3-1 (.750)
Overall Record: 160-100 (.615)
Last Week: 12-4 (.750)
Regular Season Record: 157-99 (.613)

Kyla Pratt's Baby Daddy Wants You To "Do The Supahead"

Thank goodness this didn't come out any time between 2005 and 2007 when Superhead was relevant because this might've actually become a hit. It would still be terrible regardless, but it would've at least had a chance back then. Bullet dodged.

Anyway, yes, this is fine ass Kyla Pratt's baby daddy, and yes, her not only fucking, but also having a baby by this lame ass nigga dramatically lowers the value of her pussy. Bad times.

RAPPER NEWSFLASH!

FiyahMuZik.com's Top & Bottom 10's Of 2011

Top 10 Albums Of 2011
1. The Game - The R.E.D. Album
I love Jay-Z and I love Kanye, but I'm not gonna even sit here and front like The R.E.D. Album wasn't the illest album released last year.

2. Jay-Z & Kanye West - Watch The Throne
I'm not gonna lie, I didn't love it after the first listen, but clearly I was tripping because this shit is GREAT! And it produced one of the best all around songs of the year in Niggas In Paris. What more could you ask for?

3. Bad Meets Evil - Hell: The Sequel
I never looked at Hell: The Sequel as an EP because it was easily better than 95% of LPs released in 2011. Eminem and Royce together is just unfair.

4. Young Jeezy - TM103: Hustlerz Ambition
It took forever to come out, but I couldn't be happier with the final product. Yeah, it has way too many features, but TM103 is jammin' like hell.

5. Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
I can't say enough about what Kendrick Lamar brings to the tables lyrically, dude is just fucking ill.

6. Drake - Take Care
You can say Drake is soft all you want, but you're lying to yourself if you say Take Care is a good fucking album.

7. Childish Gambino - Camp
I started to not give Donald Glover a chance solely based on his terrible, terrible rap name, but this Camp album is impressive. He was trying too hard to sound like Kanye and Eminem on a few tracks, but the overall product was dope.

8. Snoop Dogg - Doggumentary
Don't sleep on Snoop because this is his 64th album, Doggumentary is a good as shit. A few fillers, but mostly dope ass music.

9. Wale - Ambition
There's still something about Wale's flow that I don't love, but Ambition is like 1000x better than Attention Deficit.

10. Styles P - Master Of Ceremony
SP is definitely on the top of his game on Master Of Ceremony.

Bottom 10 Albums Of 2011
1. Lil B - I'm Gay
I still have no idea what the fuck Lil B is rapping for.

2. Gucci Mane - The Return Of Mr. Zone 6
Same goes for Gucci Mane.

3. Pastor Troy - Still Troy
And Pastor Troy.

4. Blu - Jesus
I heard Blu was supposed to be some good, but this album definitely was far from it. I had no clue what the hell was going on on this shit from start to finish.

5. Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka - Ferrari Boyz
Just like Watch The Throne, only without the good music.

6. Cali Swag District - The Kickback
I'm not gonna say I'm happy one of the members of Cali Swag District got murdered, but I am happy this will likely be the last one of their album I'll have to suffer through.

7. LMFAO - Sorry For Party Rocking
Sadly, these clowns are considered rappers. I knew this shit would suck when I saw will.i.am's crazy ass executive produced it.

8. New Boyz - Too Cool To Care
How did these niggas get a 2nd album? Let's make sure it all ends here.

9. Project Pat - Loud Pack
I fuck with Project Pat, but he can't rap for shit.

10. Lupe Fiasco - Lasers
Sigh.

Top 10 Mixtapes Of 2011
1. Big K.R.I.T. - Return Of 4Eva
This is almost unfair because this could've been released as K.R.I.T.'s debut album, the music is that good. Let's all just pray he's not wasting all of his good songs on mixtapes and has no steam left for the actual album like J. Cole.

2. Fabolous - The Soul Tape
I love Fab, but this very well may be the illest project of his entire career. I fucking love The Soul Tape!

3. The Game - Hoodmorning (No Typo)
Wack title, great mixtape.

4. Ludacris - 1.21 Gigawatts
I'll overlook the Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka feature because the rest of the 'tape was so damn good.

5. Freddie Gibbs - Cold Day In Hell
Freddie Gibbs is just good, I don't know what else to say.

6. Willie The Kid - The Fly 2
I know not many folks are checking for Willie The Kid, but The Fly 2 is ill.

7. Fred The Godson - City Of God
Freddie Gibbs, Fred The Godson, is Fred the new "Ice" of rap names? Either way, City Of God was dope.

8. The Game - Purp & Patron: The Hangover
No, I'm not on The Game's dick, he just had a helluva year musically.

9. Jae Millz - Potent Music
It's a shame Millz is buried on the Cash Money/Young Money roster because Potent Music is probably the best project to come from them outside of Take Care.

10. 50 Cent - The Big Ten
I gotta give 50 Cent credit, I didn't think he had it in him. Oh, and I'm still happy he decided to change the cover.

Bottom 10 Mixtapes Of 2011
1. Kreayshawn - Kittys x Choppas
Not Lil B. Not Soulja Boy. Kreayshawn. Thank God majority of her 15 minutes of fame are up and it's looking increasingly unlikely we'll see a full studio album.

2. Lil B - Bitch Mob Respect Da Bitch
I thought it would be impossible to make music that sounds worse than this mixtape title, but Lil B showed me otherwise.

3. Soulja Boy - Smooky
I really don't know what this nigga is doing with his life.

4. Lil B - Black Flame
I don't even know what negative is left to say about Lil B.

5. Future - Streetz Calling
It's ironic he calls himself Future seeing how he has no future in music.

6. Soulja Boy - Juice
(See #4 and replace "Lil B" with "Soulja Boy.")

7. Lil B - Red Flame Devil Music Edition
(See #4.)

8. Soulja Boy - 1Up
(See #6.)

9. OJ Da Juiceman - Culinary Art School 2
I don't think "Da Juiceman" said more than 10 words during the entirety of this mixtape.

10. 2 Chainz - T.R.U. REALigion
With all the buzz 2 Chainz has gotten recently I forgot he was terrible at rapping. T.R.U. REALigion reminded me.
