I decided I'd get over my team's loss and make picks on Wild Card weekend. I must say though, looking at this line up, the NFL really needed the Cowboys to make playoffs because outside of the Colts/Bolts, these match-ups don't look that intriguing. Maybe its just me...but I doubt it lol.Oh, and the NFL really needs to do something with this playoff system because its utterly ridiculous that the 12-4 Colts have to go to the 8-8 Chargers to play Saturday. Its like punishing the Colts for not being in a shitty division like the AFC West. Same thing goes for ATL@ARI and this is all while the 11-5 Patriots are at home watching lol.
1) Colts (12-4) @ Chargers (8-8)
This should be a good one! It usually is when these 2 teams get together. Both the Colts and the Bolts can make an argument for being the team with the most momentum coming into the playoffs. I tend to side with the Colts as the team with the most momentum though because while the Chargers did rebound from 4-8 to make the playoffs, they only had to beat Oakland, Kansas City, Tampa, and Denver to get to where they are now while Indy beat teams like New England, Pittsburgh, and San Diego to string together that 9 game winning streak.
Long story short, though this game should be close, the Colts will most likely be the team to pull it out in the end. Colts winners, Bolts losers.
2) Ravens (11-5) @ Dolphins (11-5)
When these 2 teams met in Week 7, the Ravens took down the Dolphins 27-13 and sent them to 2-4 on the season. Miami finished 11-5, so what was the big difference between that team and the one that'll show up at Dolphins Stadium Sunday?? Out of the 10 games they played since Week 7, only 2 were against teams with a record over .500.
It was a nice story while it lasted, but the Fins fairy tale season will come to an end once they finally play an actual good team. It might turn out to be a good one, but there is no way Miami will be able to match Baltimore's intensity. Ravens winners, Dolphins losers.
3) Eagles (9-6-1) @ Vikings (10-6)
This one will be tough to watch because my Cowboys should be in this game. I have no cool stats for this one and the Eagles should win, but I totally wouldn't be surprised if they flopped. Eagles winners, Vikings losers.
4) Falcons (11-5) @ Cardinals (9-7)
Who wants to watch this game?? Its not the Falcons fault, its the Cardinals fault because who knows what team you're gonna get. I guess somebody had to win the NFC West so we're stuck with them. I don't see things changing in favor of AZ so I'm gonna go 4-4 in picking the road teams. Falcons winners, Cardinals losers.
Last Week Record: 10-6 (.625)
Overall Record: 116-68 (.630)
So Far This Week: 2-2 (.500)
Until Next Year...
ReplyDeleteAdios Atlanta.. u Did Well..
Yeah ATL shouldn't be mad I mean after all Matt Ryan is a rookie playing in his first playoff game. Welp I'm 0-2 on wild card weekend so far lol.
ReplyDeleteMan, now that the Colts are out and the Cowboys aint in I think football season is pretty much over for me lol.
yea lol. We will definately be back next year. We got nothing but young guys. Maybe some more vets with playoff experience would be nice to round them out next year.
