Thursday Billboard Update - 10/15/09

As far as Hip-Hop is concerned, ain't much going on in the top 10, but Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 officially past the 1 million sold mark this week. With 64,800 sold BP3 has moved 1,061,600 total.

After Jay Sean's Down upset the Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling for the #1 spot last week, Britney Spears' 3 knocks them both out and opens in the pole position this week. G shit!

• Speaking of beefs, Jim Jones and DJ Webstar tried to pick a fight with Jay-Z over D.O.A. this summer and this fall their joint album The Rooftop failed to chart on the Billboard 200! The last album on the 200 sold 2,600 and The Rooftop sold less than that! Shit! I heard of flopping, but not even charting?? That's some Khia shit lol.

STFU Award: Jim Jones & DJ Webstar

Its hard to say the negative response to Jay-Z's new street single D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune) is a backlash because the crowd that doesn't agree with Hov is so minimal that its more like a ripple. Anyway, two of those people who make up the D.O.A. ripple are DJ Webstar and Jim Jones. (Now, I know what you're think, "Who the fuck is DJ Webstar?" But hold your horses, I'll get to that in a minute.) Webstar and Jones decided to do what any gangsta in the same place as the person they're mad at would do -- attack them on Twitter. I mean because what's more gangsta than airing out a person via tweet?? This is only for the hardcore!

Okay, lets start with this nigga DJ Webstar because this won't take long. Here's what the alleged DJ had to say on his Twitter account the other day: "Who heard old ass Jay Z hating?" and "bottom line is a 40 year old can't relate to a 17 or 22 year old so he could never end my career." First off, nigga you made fuckin' Chicken Noodle Soup, you don't even have the right to speak on anything Jay-Z does. Second...hell, there is no second, this is the guy responsible for Chicken Noodle Soup! Who told him he could stop flippin' burgers and have an opinion?? The end.

Now lets switch it over to Jay-Z's biggest fan Jim Jones. Here's what Jimmy had to say on Twitter about D.O.A., and no I didn't change any of the spellings to make him look dumber, he actually typed this exactly: "A old sucka lol we back and if he kilt outotune then we must be easter the resurection lol shouts to soldier boy tellem he ripped." Wow. Just wow. Before I get into Jones being mad at Jay-Z, I just wanna say this is another reason why rappers shouldn't have Twitter. Most of these niggas aren't that smart and we really don't need text evidence of how smart you aren't.

Anyway, kilt?? Outotune?? Resurection?? What the fuck?? Nigga needs to learn how to spell before he starts talking shit. Seriously though, kilt?? LMAO! Never before in my life have I seen someone spell "killed" as "kilt." That shit is just too funny! How are you gonna try to insult somebody when you can't spell?? This man is 32 (33 July 15th) and can't write a complete sentence. Shit is sad.

Now, I've asked this time and time again, but why is Jim Jones' on Jay-Z's dick all the time?? You never hear Jay even make mention of Jones, but yet Jones is ALWAYS talking about Jay no matter if he's asked or not. What is this guys obsession with Jay-Z?? I mean, we all knew he was a big fan even before that video of him in the club singing Jay-Z's whole verse on Swagger Like Us back in October, but damn. Let the man's nuts breathe a little. Beyonce has got his gentials now Jimmy, you can let go. Sad, just sad.

DJ Webstar, Jim Jones, don't be mad because the streets are tired of the bullshit. Embrace it. I know you want to continue dick riding and calling it "making hits" (though neither of you have had a hit since 2006) but the bullshit is over. The "old" man will always reign over you and be better than you in every way. Embrace it. Don't be jealous and bitter because that's how you both sound right now. After all, your big homie did once say, "Males shouldn't be jealous, that's a female trait." Again, embrace it... oh, and STFU!
