Drake - The Motto (feat. Lil Wayne & Tyga) Video

I see it's becoming a bit of a tradition for Drake to make at least one question fashion choice per video. In Headlines it was the Bill Cosby sweater and this time it's the cheetah print jacket (that I have a hard time assuming he found in the men's department). Oh well, at least he had Lil Wayne's inflatable green boots in the video to soften the blow.

(Side note: Young Real Nigga murked everybody on this beat!)

Thursday Billboard Update - 4/7/11

Britney Spears - Femme Fatale
Grabbing her 6th #1 album is Britney Spears as her Femme Fatale bangs out 277,100 first week. This puts her in a 3rd place tie for most #1s all-time by a female artist with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. (Sounds odd for Britney's name to be in the same sentence as Mariah and Janet, right?) Coming in at #2 is Wiz Khalifa's weed plate, coincidentally named Rolling Papers, with 198,200 copies sold. Snoop Dogg's Doggumentary debuts at #8 with 50,500 sold while Mary Mary's Something Big checks in at #10 with 42,000 sold.

Katy Perry's E.T. featuring Kanye West remains at #1 for a 2nd week, while Rihanna's S&M slides up a spot to #2, and Black Eyed Peas' Just Can't Get Enough hops 2 to #3. Just one new entry in the top 10 this week and its Adele's Rolling In The Deep flying 17-10.

This Week In Flops 3/29/11

Britney Spears - Femme Fatale
Coming in at #1 next week will be Britney Spears' Femme Fatale, the only thing left to settle now is how much she'll sell. Britney's 2008 effort Circus moved 505,000 first week, and while I don't think this album will reach those heights, it should still be an great opening week. My guess is 375-450k.

Wiz Khalifa - Rolling Papers
Wiz Khalifa is arguably the hottest rapper in the game right now (overall, not musically), now it's time to see if that heat can translate into record sales. Generally, weed-based rappers don't perform well, but I think Cruella Khalifa has a good shot at that #2 spot. For him, I'm going with 115-150k.

Snoop Dogg - Doggumentary
I can't think of a Snoop Dogg album less anticipated since Doggumentary the No Limit days. Now I'm not saying the album sucks or anything, but its been a LONG time since Dogg has had little-to-no buzz surrounding an album.

Regardless, its hitting stores today, and I'm expecting sales in the range of 50-90k.

Mary Mary - Something Big
This is the first time I've had a gospel album on TWIF, so I'm not familiar with what they usually sell. And yes, that is a built in excuse because I expect to be totally wrong with my guess of 30-60k.

E-40 - Revenue Retrievin': Graveyard Shift
E-40 - Revenue Retrievin': Overtime Shift
I'm not sure we needed dual E-40 albums in consecutive years, but nevertheless he's back with Graveyard and Overtime Shirt of his Revenue Retrievin' series. Sales of both album should be nearly identical once again, and I'm guessing 10-15k.

Muzik Pt. 1

Busta Rhymes Feat. T-Pain - Hustler's Dream (Clean)

Wow, not impressed... at all lol.

Lil Jon Feat. Ciara & Lil Wayne - Roll Call

Can I get a show of hands from all the indiviuals that forget about Crunk Rock?? Let it go Jon, your time came and went in 2004 lol.

Shawty Lo - Roll The Dice

Why do niggas keep insisting on remixes tracks other people have already remixed?? First Wayne then Jeezy and now Lo. Anyway, as far as the track goes, in the 2nd verse it sounds like he was trying to call a truce with T.I. again but then again who knows with this nigga because beef with T.I. is obviously the only reason he's ever mentioned.

Lloyd Banks - Don't Come Around

I hope Banks is gonna put this type of effort on his album tracks. Good shit.

DJ Drama Feat. Ghostface & Lupe Fiasco - Paint A Picture

This shit is sick! Ghostface rips it, Lupe rips it, the beat is hard! Just a overall good ass track.

DJ Green Lantern Feat. Avery Storm & Uncle Murda - Crazy World

I never made a post about dude the cops shot in the back, but how sad was that?? Man, so fucked up still in 2009.

Ne-Yo - I'm Doin' Ok

How many tracks did Ne-Yo do for his last album?? I mean damn he's still dropping shit lol. This track, like its title, is just ok though.

Ya Boy Feat. E-40, Kurupt, & Glasses Malone - Superstars

No disrespect to Kurupt but his verse was wack! I'm about all of it from the way he spit it to the actual lyrics lol. And can somebody tell Glasses Malone he's gonna have a hard time trying to be a gangsta rapper using auto-tune lol. The verses went from good to bad to badder to baddest lol.

Jim Jones Feat. Ryan Leslie - Precious

Jimmy went back to the old super wack version of himself from like 03-04 lol. I mean that 2nd verse was just terrible and to add insult to injury he was off beat...as hell lol.

N.O.R.E. - Blame It Freestyle

I love N.O.R.E. but he does nothing to help this track out.

N.O.R.E. - Ain't I Freestyle

I don't know if its because this track is just wack or N.O.R.E. was just bad, but I hated this.

This Week In Flops 11/25/08

I'm gonna let Kanye skate because not only do I think he'll exceed 300,000, but also...okay, who am I fooling?? I already saw him projected numbers and he's not gonna flop. Well he is in a sense because its gonna be no where near Graduation or Late Registration numbers. Anyway, the show must go on....

With 309,800 in its first week, Ludacris' last album Release Therapy barely made it past flop status BUT that was in 2006 and unfortunately I think he's due. Its really a shame because this is easily one of the year's best. I got Theater Of The Mind doing 250k-275k, but more specifically somewhere around 267,000. Still not bad for my boy.

Who grows hair after they're 30?? I thought 30 was the official hair cut off date?? Oh well I still love E-40 lol. Unfortunately there isn't much buzz around this project so I see sales being extremely low. How low?? I'm talking V.I.C. low. I'm guessing somewhere in the ballpark of 8k-20k.

E-40 Feat. The Game & Snoop Dogg - Pain No More (Prod. By J.R. Rotem)

Aight we started off a little shaky with that questionable Hov beat selection, but lets move right along:

E-40 Feat. The Game & Snoop Dogg - Pain No More (Prod. By J.R. Rotem)

You can tell who really works with J.R. on a regular basis out of the 3 lol. E-40 sounded like he wrote his verse to another beat and Snoop was just a bit corny with his flow, but Game ripped hit and the beat and hook are hot so I fuck with this shit.

The Wackness

The crop of songs I downloaded today were mostly wack so I figured I'd make a game out of it. That's right, The Wackness isn't just a movie anymore, its a game right here on FiyahMuZik.com! I'm gonna have a wackness countdown and give each song a wackness rating from 1-10, 1 being Young Jeezy (a wack rapper I like) and 10 being the chick that made Its So Cold In The D (the wacket shit out right now). Okay, are you ready to play?? Lets go!

Chingy Feat. Soulja Boy - Turn It Up

No, no, no, turn it down! Soulja Boy has to be the only nigga to get on a track with Chingy and get ate lol. Your boy Soulja offered such classic lines as "I go so hard like I took some Viagra, with a Chinese chick and her pussy diagonal" and "gettin' silly, countin' a milli, eatin' Piccadilly." Sad, sad shit.
Wackness Rating: 9

50 Cent - You Won't Believe Me

I like this original record minus Lil Wayne's verse and an auto-tuned 50 Cent is no better replacement. These niggas are gonna drive me CRAZY with this corny ass shit! I mean it'd be one thing if they could use it right, but they always put it on waaaay too heavy and the shit just sounds even more retarded than they do for dick ridin' T-Pain.

All wasn't lost though because I did like when 50 said, "now I ain't bring you to the back just to have a conversation, a nigga need to feel some penatration." I think I'm gonna change my Facebook status to that when I finish with this lol.
Wackness Rating: 3

E-40 Feat. Shawty Lo - Break Your Ankles (Prod. By Lil Jon)

This nigga Lo REALLY needs to find a new delivery, that shit sucks badly and it makes me not even wana hear what he has to say. I mean I know he's not gonna say anything worth hearing once I see he's on a track, but I like to give everybody a chance. Anyway, this whole record is wack because I dunno wtf they are talking about... at all. Plus, who has Lil Jon beats anymore anyway?? This ain't 2004 nigga lol.
Wackness Rating: 6

Juelz Santana - Go Hard

This rally isn't all that wack, but generally speaking Santana is lyrically so why not let him play too?? Let me stop, I'm really still just disappointed in Kanye so I'm taking it out on Juelz lol.
Wackness Rating: 1

Big Kuntry Feat. Lloyd - Love U

Thank goodness Lloyd was on here or else all would've been lost, especially after starting off with a hook that included, "you need a man that's gon' pipe you the right way, lick you in yo' tight place." Seriously, the new slang for pussy is "tight place"?? That's wack as all hell lol.
Wackness Rating: 5

All That New Music I Never Posted Pt. 1

Sorry it took so long, but better late than never, right? Probably wrong, but if you haven't heard/downloaded any of these just listen and/or download them from me.

Usher - His Mistakes

Usher - Moving Mountains

I LOVE both of these 2 new Ushers tracks! I was a bit skeptical about how he'd come back after a new 2004, but he seems to be doing just fine.

Common - The Light 2008 (Its Love)

This shit has been getting a lot of burn on the radio during that 5 o'clock hour. Hey, its love.

Lyfe Jennings - Never Never Land

WACK!

Lyfe Jennings - Brand New

HOT! Would have been much hotter without the old ass rap verses, but its all good lol.

Snoop Dogg Feat. Too Short - Life Of Da Party

Its straight, nothing special.

E-40 Feat. Lil Jon - Turf Drop
