Thursday Billboard Update - 4/3/08
Damn, everything is working out perfectly for Diddy right now: He launched the greatest catch phrase of the past 5 years, is making a killing selling the shirts for it, has one ofthe top rated shows on MTV, Danity Kane's 2nd album debut at #1, and now Day26 debut at #1 this week. Its good to be Diddy and yes I'm sure he had all that planned out long ago like I said lol. Anyway, the boys sold a pretty decent 190,000 (my prediction was dead the fuck on too, might I add lol) with no radio play, video play or anything outside of having a show on MTV lol.
Leona Lewis' reign on the top was shorter than leprechauns, she can't fuck with Mariah, what type of X y'all on? lol. Nahhh, but seriously Mariah just grabbed up her 18th #1 with the extra corny Touch My Body and is looking dominate right now. The other big top 10 jump this week is Madonna as her Justin Timberlake featured 4 Minutes skies 65 spots 68-3 in just its 2nd week on Hot. Also goodbye to Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music and Lil Mama's Shawty Get Loose which both exited the top 10 this week. Peace!

You might have been wondering where I've been all day and the answer to that is sulking in the corner since news broke that my wifey Beyonce and favorite rapper Jay-Z were really getting married for real this time. I know, very sad lol.
Anyway, I'm back kool with my boy Hov since I just read that this nigga is about to sign a partnership with Live Nation worth about $150 million! Shit! That's more than they're giving Madonna, if you're keeping track at home lol. But yeah the partnership is gonna be called Roc Nation and he's getting $10 million up front to do at least 3 more albums!! Great news for Hip-Hop...but mainly for me lol. Damn I wanna hate Jay for marrying my girl, but fuck it lol. [FULL STORY]

This Week In Flops 4/1/08
Damn, now I really see why Trick wanted to get the fuck off Slide-N-Slide last year, this new Trina shit got NO promo lol. I swear I didn't know her album was coming out today until I was on one of my download sites Friday and saw it posted. I've listened to it a couple of times and its pretty straight for the most part. I should have a review up soon, but anyway lets make this quick 'cause I gotta go to work.
Considering that nobody knows this is dropping you can almost guarantee that its flopping. Couple that with little radio play (outside of South Florida), interviews, and any type of promo and I'm thinking 25k-40k.
