NFL Winners & Losers: Week 8

Brett Favre is back in Green Bay, get your waffles ready!
1) Vikings (6-1) @ Packers (4-2)
By now you've been blitz to death with "Brett Favre going back to Lambeau" coverage, that's why I made this #1 so we could account for it and move on. If you wanna know anything about this game just turn on ESPN, I'm sure they'll have some random old Brett Favre teammate to tell you all about it. As for me, I'm just gonna make my pick. Packers winners, Vikings losers.

2) Seahawks (2-4) @ Cowboys (4-2)
Usually I spend this time going in depth about the game my Cowboys are about to play, but this week I can sum it all up in a simple mathematical equation:

Fragile quarterback + 4th string left tackle + DeMarcus Ware post $78 million contract = Cowboys winners, Seahawks losers.

3) Giants (5-2) @ Eagles (4-2)
Tough couple of weeks for the Giants huh? Well it turns out things are a bit different when you're not playing teams like the Redskins, Bucs, Chiefs, and Raiders. Who knew?

Anyway, NYG will be looking to bounce back against the team who bounced them from the playoffs last season. Unfortunately for them, their secondary is banged up and the Eagles employ a speedster named DeSean Jackson. I have no doubt in my mind that C.C. Brown will be the goat in this game and DeSean will have over 100 yards receiving. I think that'll be enough for the Eagles to give the G-Men their 3rd straight loss and send the sports media into "what is wrong with the Giants?" frenzy. Eagles winners, Giants losers.

4) Falcons (4-2) @ Saints (6-0)
I would NOT want to be the Falcons this Monday. Their banged up secondary was exposed by Tony Romo and Miles Austin (aka Anti-Roy) and now they have to go play NFL offense numero uno in the Super Dome. I say this game is over by half time. And this picks has nothing to do with my hatred of Atlanta as a producer of Rap music. Saints winners, Falcons losers.

5) Dolphins (2-4) @ Jets (4-3)
Who makes the schedules?? This game just happened like 2 weeks ago and now they're playing again. Too soon.

Anyway, how bad is Ted Ginn Jr.?? I obviously know a lot of Dolphins fans living in South Florida, and all I've been hearing is about how terrible he is. Young Theodore does have some next level butterfingers and I can't argue with that, but I can point out 3 things to my Phins phans:

1) If the Dolphins didn't take Ginn 9th overall in the 2007 draft, they would've taken Brady Quinn. The problem?? Brady Quinn also sucks. Chad Henne right now is better than Quinn has been his entire career. Bottom line, the Dolphins would've taken some scrub from Ohio with that pick either way.

2) At least you didn't give up 3 draft and a huge contract to Ginn like the Cowboys did with Roy Williams. So far Theodore has 18 catches for 211 while Roy has 12 for 230. Again, we spent THREE draft picks on this guy. THREE! The Dolphins wasted 1 pick, we wasted THREE!

I was just telling my uncle Thursday that I'd trade Roy straight up for Ted Ginn right now. No question. Roy sucks and I really just want him off the team lol.

3) You could've had Drew Brees! After the 2005 season, Brees was a free agent and instead of bringing him in, the traded for Daunte Culpepper and the rest is history.

Basically, it ain't that bad (#1 and #2) and if you think it is, its your team's fault (#3) lol. I still like them against the Jets though. Dolphins winners, Jets losers.

6) 49ers (3-3) @ Colts (6-0)
Alex Smith is better than Shaun Hill?? I'm shocked! I guess the 49ers figured figured because Hill looks like a young Dan Marino in the face that he could bring the same production to the field. Well nope, it ain't happened. Don't get me wrong, Alex Smith hasn't had the best NFL career ever, but I've seen Hill play, nothing special. Baby Dan is a game manager and that's about it, so I don't think its a coincidence that in Smith's sole half of football he was 3 yards away from throwing for the same amount Hill threw for in his biggest game this season.

Whatever, it really doesn't matter who's starting for the Niners, they're playing the Colts and their gonna lose. They might even get crushed. We'll see. Colts winners, 49ers losers.

7) Broncos (6-0) @ Ravens (3-3)
How often do 2 teams coming off bye weeks face each other?? I don't have a stat on it, but I'm almost positive its not a very common thing. Both teams will be well prepared so this shit be a good one.

The Broncos all but have the AFC West wrapped up at this point, while this is THE game for the Ravens. At 3-3 this is make or break, and for that reason, I gotta lean towards Flacco and the boys. Ravens winners, Broncos losers.

8) Jaguars (3-3) @ Titans (0-6)
Once upon a time this was a marquee divisional game. Not anymore. The winless Titans will trot Vince Young's inefficient ass out this Sunday as a starter and I predict Kerry Collins will be in back in for the 2nd half. Now, I'm not saying its the wrong move for the Titans, I'm just saying Vince Young sucks. In garbage time against the Colts and Patriots back-ups, he sucked. In the preseason against people who are now probably working at cell phone kiosk in the mall, he sucked. And against the average Jacksonville Jags he will suck. Case closed. Jaguars winners, Titans losers.

9) Texans (4-3) @ Bills (3-4)
Something big happened last week, do you know what it was? The Texans forgetting they were supposed to lose! The perennial "win-loss-win-loss" team put together back to back wins. Can the make it 3 in a row?? I say yes, though Matt Schaub is due for an injury at any second now. Texans winners, Bills losers.

10) Panthers (2-4) @ Cardinals (4-2)
It really says something about the Panthers' confidence in Matt Moore and A.J. Feeley that they keep trotting out Jake Delhomme's dead body week after week. If the Cards feasted on Eli Manning last week, I'd hate to see what they do to poor Corpse Delhomme. Cardinals winners, Panthers losers.

11) Oakland (2-5) @ Chargers (3-3)
I see the Raiders finally wised up and yanked JaMarcus Russell last week. Unfortunately their back-up QB is Bruce Gradkowski. That pretty much sum it all up.

Don't get me wrong, the Chargers suck too, the Raiders just suck more. And more violently. A lot of gag relaxing being exercised out in Oakland these days lol. Chargers winners, Raiders losers.

12) Browns (1-6) @ Bears (3-3)
The Browns sucks. The end. Bears winners, Browns losers.

13) Rams (0-7) @ Lions (1-5)
We should dub this game "And with the first pick in the NFL draft." Like it?? I knew you would.

Anyway, this is going to be a dreadful game, but its undoubtedly the best shot the Rams have at not going 0 for 2009. They do have the Seahawks and Titans still on the schedule, but I think both of those teams are better than the Rams, even as injury-riddled as they are. Rams fans just better keep their fingers crossed that Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson can't go Sunday, but all signs are pointing to them being able to play. If they do, I think the Lions will past the 0-16 torch on to the Rams and watch them carry it to the 1st pick in the 2010 draft. Lions winners, Rams losers.

Last Week: 9-4 (.692)
Overall Record: 76-40 (.650)
This Week:
9-4 (.692)

The Game - Big Money/Better Days

The R.E.D. Album
Here's the official album cover and first single for The R.E.D. Album which is due December 8th.

I hope Game was joking when he said this was gonna be his first single. This shit is pretty wack. I wouldn't even wanna hear this on the album, let alone as a single lol. My expectations for this album are slowly starting to drop. Plus, who still uses Cool N Dre beats?? Game needs to move on.

Anyway, I got another Game track after the jump.

Much better, but Game can do better than this. Pretty boring and not that deep.

The Game - Krazy (feat. Gucci Mane & Timbaland)

Krazy
I don't know if you heard, but The Game recently changed his rap name from "The Game" to (drum roll please)... "Game." Due to the lameness of that switch, FiyahMuZik.com will still recognized him by The Game for the most part lol. Anyway, here's his street single off The R.E.D. Album due December 8th.

I'm not just saying this because Gucci Mane is on it (though it doesn't help my final decision), but this is not hot. And aren't street singles supposed to go harder than this?? This shit is so skippable. Try again.

I got a bonus after the jump.

I'm not sure if they is gonna be on the album or not, but man, that hook is just bad! The verse are straight, but that hook is a no go lol.

50 Cent - So Disrespect/Psycho (feat. Eminem)

Before I Self Destruct
As of today, Before I Self Destruct was still on schedule for a that November 23rd release as of now. We shall see. Both of these tracks are produced by Dr. Dre, by the way.

Shots fired at Young Buck! Shots fired at Game! Good song too. I'm shocked actually. Is that a bad thing?? I don't know, but lets move on to the Eminem, track after the jump.

Wow, this is probably the best 50/Eminem collabo since Patiently Waiting on Get Rich Or Die Trying! Maybe I need to get my hopes up for BISD after all?? Well we'll see, but I fuck with both of these tracks.

Beanie Sigel - What You Talkin' Bout (Jay-Z Diss)

Beans & Jay
It was just my luck last night I decided to get off the computer early and start on my Week 8 picks and this Beans diss record for Jay pops up. I'm a huge Roc-A-Fella fan so its a sad day for me, but lets get to it.

Real ass record. After hearing this and that interview with Charlamagne Tha God, I feel bad for Beans more than anything else right now. He doesn't sound angry or like he's doing this to profit off it, he sounds hurt. He feels like his brother disowned him and he had to release, and I feel him on that. I love Jay-Z, but there's no excuse for there not to be a direct way for Beanie Sigel to contact you, and if there is, then you should be at least be contacting him. Not going to see him in jail is indefensible, not saying you'd be responsible for him if the judge released him is indefensible. I don't care how big of a Jay-Z fan you are, you can't argue that.

Now what I don't understand is how it got this far?? From the shit Beans was saying about Jay not really being there for him, and him not being able to contact Jay, and Jay not really giving him much game, I'm trying to figure where the bond and all this love was built?? From what Beans said, I don't see it. It seems to me as Beans took that rap talk that rappers do on records (you know all that "I'll do this for such and such because he's my nigga" or "I'll ride for such and such if its beef") seriously and built a bond off that rather than by real human interaction. I mean seriously, going strictly off what Beans said on the song and in the intereview, how else would that bond have been built?? If Jay stole your single, dropped his own singles when you were dropping yours, put his own song on your album and released it as a single for you, wasn't paying you right, and didn't open up a line of contact for you then how did it get to this point??

From where I'm standing, it seems to me that Jay felt he was in competition with Beans more so than feeling like they were fam. It also seems like Beans built his bond with Jay from being a fan of his music (evident by him being about to quote damn near every time Jay mentioned his name in a record) more than by having a real relationship with him. That's not Beans' fault, but that's just how it seems after hearing what he said.

With all that being said, I seriously doubt if Jay responds to this. Maybe he does an interview with Angie Martinez or Funk Flex, but that's about it. I don't think there's gonna be a diss record back or even subliminals on some Lost One or What We Talkin' Bout shit. And that's even if Beans keeps going in on him.

All this aside, I'm still a Jay-Z fan because the guy makes good music. Its not about overlooking shit with me, its about the music. Its about the music now, and its always been about the music. Does it help to be likeable?? Of course, but no matter what, its always gonna be about the music.

Empire State Of Mind Live From Yankee Stadium

The color is a bit off, so whoever recorded this needs to get their damn TV fixed, but its good enough I guess. Anyway, I'm glad to see Yankee Stadium went on lock down mode to keep Lil Mama from interrupting the performance this time. I can't lie, I kinda missed her. By watching this I learned that Alicia Keys can't dance and I just feel like I wouldn't have had to find that out if Lil Mama was around to randomly jump on stage. Oh well.

Good win by the Yankees tonight. Oh, and don't think I'm not following the series closely for The CYST's sake. Right now, the Cowboys are in the Super Bowl and the score is tied at the end of the 1st quarter. Exciting stuff lol.

Who's Taller??: Lil Duval Vs. Kevin Hart

These niggas are funny as hell! I love them both BUT I must say Lil Duval is slightly taller. Not enough to brag about though lol.

Question: How lame is that nigga with the camera?? Dude couldn't WAIT to pull out him phone and show somebody that lil raggedy ass video. Duval was right, that nigga probably been waiting to show that to someone since it happened 2 years ago lol. Straight sucka shit ol' Kardinal Offishall lookin' ass nigga lol.

Anyway, I'm pissed off today, wanna know why?? Because Kevin Hart is gonna be at FAU's comedy show tonight and I can't go see the shit! I'm fuckin' up because I didn't find out about the show until about a week and a half ago and the tickets were all sold out by then. They really shouldn't even need a ticket, I'm me around this bitch! lol.

Seriously though, I'm mad I'm gonna miss the show, but I'm glad I was able to be apart of a couple of the other classic comedy shows. I saw Katt Williams, Bruce Bruce, Darren Carter, and Coco Brown in 2005 and Lil Duval, Monique, and DeRay in 2006, both shows were incredible! Oh well, I guess I'll go pray Kev does all old jokes now. Peace!

Blake Griffin Out 6 Weeks With Broken Knee Cap

Greeting from Blake's knee
Wow, maybe Bill Simmons was right, the Clippers are cursed! Remember I posted that column Simmons wrote on the Clippers' history of bad luck this summer (freaky side note, I posted it the same day Michael Jackson died)?? Well it was an open letter to Blake warning him to run while he still had a chance. He didn't heed the Sports Guy's advice and now, with the Clippers season starting tonight, Blake's gonna be out for about 6 weeks with a busted knee cap. Go back and read that Simmons column, he speaks on Blake suffering a knee injury and all. Crazy! Good luck Blake.

Anyway, speaking of Bill Simmons, he is currently on his book tour for his latest release "The Book Of Basketball." According to his book tour schedule, Simmons is going to be on PTI today at 5:30pm. You know I'm gonna be watching that, but what I'm really waiting for is Bill on The Colbert Report Thursday night! That should be interesting to say the least. Gotta run though, peace!

D-Ware Gets His Pay Day

Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones (R) talks with Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware (L) before the start of preseason NFL football action against the Tennessee Titans at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas August 21, 2009. This is the first time the Cowboys play at the new $1.15 billion stadium.
**UPDATE**

Jay Glazer of FoxSports is reporting the deal is 6 years with $40 million guaranteed!
-----
That's right, the Dallas Cowboys have inked DeMarcus Ware to a huge new contract extension. The actual numbers of the deal have not been made public yet, but trust me, its a big deal. There was a report out last week saying the Cowboys were 31st in the NFL in spending and that was not because Jerry is cheap, its because a big chuck was being reserved for Ware's new deal.

Anyway, there's already a press conference scheduled for later this afternoon to make the official announcement.

Random News Shit: SportsCenter Edition

Relief pitcher Mariano Rivera (R) of the New York Yankees celebrates with Alex Rodriguez (L) after beating the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 5-2 in Game 6 of their Major League Baseball ALCS playoff series in New York, October 25, 2009.
1) Yankees Win ALCS; Headed To World Series
Strong win by the Yanks. The World Series will get poppin' Wednesday night against the Phillies in New York. Lets take this time to thank the Cleveland Indians for sponsoring game 1 as CC Sabathia will face off against Cliff Lee, better luck with the Cavs.

Speaking of baseball...

2) ESPN Fires Steve Phillips
I thought ESPN was going to let Steve slide with that bullshit "leave of absence" last week, but nope, they fired his ass. I'm glad to because he deserves it for cheating on his wife with somebody that busted. I mean, its one thing that he cheated on his wife, but damn, with that bitch?? C'mon son!

Anyway, you know what was really funny?? ESPN wrote a story about it AND talked about it on SportsCenter last night! Creep! Tough break nigga.

3) Bradford To Enter NFL Draft After Surgery
Good job making the right decision one year later dumbass. This all just goes to show, if you have a chance to go to the league and that money, do it!

4) Chad Ocho Cinco Starts The OCNN
You guessed it, the Ocho Cinco News Network! Our boy Estaban is gonna try his hand in breaking news!

Unfortunately, he plans on doing it via Twitter and not by way of his own website, but its still a good idea nonetheless. I mean just check out the slogan:

"If I break it, you might as well believe it."

It don't get no better than that lol.

5) Ocho Cinco Fined $10K For Wrong Color Chin Strap
This actually went down Friday, but I never got a chance to write about it. Officially it goes in as a "uniform violation" but where I'm from, we just call it BULLSHIT! Seriously, you fined someone for wearing a black chin strap?? I guess I could understand if it was like lime green or something, but black?? Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit!

6) Jets Leon Washington Out For Season
Another blow for this New York Jets team. Leon is to the Jets what Felix Jones is to the Cowboys, but the only difference is that we have a Tashard Choice to help out as well as our starter Marion Barber. All the Jets have is Thomas Jones. Welp, we'll see how this goes.

NFL Winners & Losers: Week 7

Atlanta @ Dallas
1) Falcons (4-1) @ Cowboys (3-2)
Here it is, the game I've been waiting for! Its the mighty mighty Dallas Cowboys against the lowly Dirty Birds of Atlanta, let the games begin!

Stat #1: Home teams coming off their bye are 5-1 this so far season.

Stat #2: Atlanta hasn't allowed a sack in its last 4 games, and only 2 all season.

Stat #3: The last team to beat back to back teams coming off of their bye week was the 2004 Chargers (2004 was also the last year the Cowboys lost a game coming off of a bye).

Stat #4 Atlanta is 11-2 in indoor games under second-year head coach Mike Smith and 4-4 in outdoor games. (The roof might be closed Sunday due to thunderstorms.)

Stat #5 Roy Williams (aka our personal bad luck charm) might not play, and Miles Austin will probably start again!

Okay, the last one wasn't a stat, but I'm so excited by it that I couldn't help myself lol.

This could be a statement game for my Cowboys and I think injuries are going to play a major role. Felix Jones, DeMarcus Ware, Marion Barber, and Gerald Sensabaugh are all banged up, but will play. Falcons starting CB Brian Williams obviously won't play. Neither will FB Ovie Mughelli and back-up RB Jerious Norwood who both missed their 2nd straight day of practice Thursday.

Oh, not to mention we now have Keith Brooking, who probably knows the Falcons' defense better than everyone on the Falcons defense. The Cowboys offense has probably been working with him the past 2 weeks to get use to the Falcons' defensive tendencies. That's a huge advantage for my team.

Either way, it should be close, but there's no way I could pick Atlanta here. NO WAY! Cowboys winners, Falcons losers!

2) Saints (5-0) @ Dolphins (2-3)
The worst part about not living in the same city as your favorite team is their game's availability on local stations. Usually that's not a problem because 1) the Cowboys bring ratings so they usually get the nod over most games just because they're playing and 2) NFC games broadcast on Fox and AFC games on CBS. Not this week. This Saints/Dolphins game will be broadcast by Fox, not CBS, so instead of me seeing the Cowboys play at 4:15, I'll be seeing the Dolphins because they're my local team. Awesome.

Normally that offense alone is enough to make me pick against a team BUT I really like this match-up for the Dolphins. The Saints are most dangerous when they have the ball, the Dolphins control the clock. I smell an upset. (An upset I won't be watching because I'm gonna be too busy trying to find a stable website streaming the Cowboys/Falcons game. This situation worked wonders for my 'Boys against Denver when Fox decided to show Dean Martin infomercials after showing the instant classic Chiefs/Giants game instead of our 4pm game a few weeks ago. Great.) Dolphins winners, Saints losers.

3) Vikings (6-0) @ Steelers (4-2)
Speaking up upsets, if the Steelers won this game, would it be considered one?? The Vikes are undefeated, but the Steelers are still the Super Bowl champs. Interesting.

Somebody needs to figure that out for me by Sunday. Steelers winners, Vikings losers.

4) Cardinals (3-2) @ Giants (5-1)
This game is gonna come down to one thing: The fact that there's no way the Giants are going to lose after that spanking they got last week in New Orleans. The G-Men will be ready, but will the Cards?? I think not. I kinda wish they were, but they won't be. Giants winners, Cardinals losers.

5) Bears (3-2) @ Bengals (4-2)
This should be another good one as the 3rd leading rusher in the NFL, Cedric Benson, faces off with the team that sent him packing last year. Benson isn't the only Bears outcast that will suit up against the Bears, Tank Williams is also gonna be there. No real significance to me mentioning that, I just wanted to lol.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what the Bengals defense is gonna look like now that 2nd leading sacker Antwan Odom is out for the year.

At the end of the day, I don't trust the "weapons" they've surrounded Jay Cutler with so I'll continue picking against the Bears until they show me some consistency. Bengals winners, Bears losers.

6) 49ers (3-2) @ Texans (3-3)
I'm going to maintain that the 49ers are really reaching by throwing Michael Crabtree into the fire this early, but the Texans are due for a loss this week. Not only have they alternated W's and L's all this season, but they have been since December 14th of 2008. I'm just going with what they've shown me. Niners winners, Texans losers.

7) Eagles (3-2) @ Redskins (2-4)
So Jim Zorn is keeping his job for the rest of the season despite playcalling duties being given up to newcomer Sherm Lewis. Good for him, and great for my Cowboys. Best for the Eagles though because they're the ones who'll get the first crack at the Sherm Lewis Redskins. After pulling a stink job out in Oakland last week, the Eagles will pull a fly by on the Redskins' dead corpse like vultures. Eagles winners, Redskins losers.

8) Bills (2-4) @ Panthers (2-3)
A bit of injury news, Bills starting QB Trent Edwards will be out for this game after suffering a concussion last week and back-up Ryan Fitzpatrick will take his place. Great news if you're a Carolina fan.

Like I have two 6-0 teams losing for the first time this week, I also have a 2nd team that started off 0-3 reaching 3-3. Panthers winners, Bills losers.

9) Patriots (4-2) @ Buccaneers (0-6)
Here's the punk ass overseas game that Roger Goodell insists on having every year. For that fact I thought about putting it last, but after the Pats embarrassed the Titans 59-0 last week, it'll be interesting to see how far Bill Belichick can push it against the Bucs' sorry secondary. They could've scored 100 easily if they kept up their NFL Madden-esque pace, and maybe they'll want to put on another show for the blokes across the pond. Pats winners, Buccaneers losers.

10) Colts (5-0) @ Rams (0-6)
This should be another blowout. Colts winners, Rams losers.

11) Jets (3-3) @ Raiders (2-4)
Things sure have changed fast for New York's old-new darling Mark Sanchez. After 1 win they were already comparing him to Broadway Joe, after 3 straight losses the headline on the New York Daily News called him "Broadway Schmo." It was all good just 3 weeks ago.

I think the Jets get the bounce back they need over the still lowly Raiders. Their win last week was great for me, but do you actually think a team quarterbacked by JaMarcus Russell will win back to back games?? Exactly. Jets winners, Raiders losers.

12) Packers (3-2) @ Browns (1-5)
The Browns are terrible, there's no way they beat Aaron Rodgers and the Pack. Packers winners, Browns losers.

13) Chargers (2-3) @ Chiefs (1-5)
Normally this would be an easy game to pick, but the Chargers are awful. I had a feeling they would be this bad, but I had no idea they'd be this bad. Most of the blame goes to their injury-riddled defense, and the rest can be split between Norv Turner and LaDainian Tomlinson (L.T. has not only lost a step, he's lost 3 or 4). None of the blame should be put on Phil Rivers, he's playing great.

I'll give the Bolts one more week to prove me wrong. Don't make me look stupid guys. Chargers winners, Chiefs losers.

Last Week: 8-6 (.571)
Overall Record: 67-36 (.650)
This Week: 9-4 (.692)

Random News Shit

LONDON - OCTOBER 7: Lil' Wayne performs at Hammersmith Apollo on October 7, 2009 in London, England.
1) Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge, Gets 1 Year In Prison
Man, I bet he's really regretting the decision to kiss Baby in the mouth now. Well hopefully he won't be in there calling anybody else daddy. How often will Baby be allowed to come in for conjugal visits?? Will the state provide the KY Jelly or is it a B.Y.O.KY kinda thing?? If Wayne becomes a real life version of the chick in his song Kisha, is that considered copyright infringement?? If T-Pain comes to visit, will they auto-tune the phones connected to the glass?? Will Wayne steal the idea and auto-tune his first?? Does this mean The Rebirth is gonna be pushed back again?? Does this mean Cash Money/Young Money will be forced to let one of their other artists actually drop an album?? Do we need anymore proof the Tiny & Toya show was cursed??

Okay, I think that's enough. Just wanted to get all the bad jokes out the way now lol.

2) ESPN's Steve Phillips Admits To Sex Sandal, Takes Leave
This just goes to show that it don't matter who you are, or what you do, niggas still cheat lol. Its the sad truth, I know, I know.

This shit was wild though! This was about to be Steve McNair part 2 around this bitch. I wouldn't put it past her still.

Oh, and did you see the regular ass bitch he cheated with?? If I was ESPN, I'd fire his ass for cheating with somebody looking like that! C'mon son! Its no wonder she is went crazy, she probably never had dick before lol. At least be like Rick Pitino and make ruining your family worth while with somebody fine. I mean, I never saw his wife, but she's GOT to look better than this chick.

Anyway, check out the 911 call Phillips's wife made when Ug showed up at their crib.

3) R. Kelly To Release Untitled Album Dec. 1st
Can you believe this is only R. Kelly's 10th studio album?? I'll be interested to hear how this sounds and I'm praying for another classic like Real Talk lol.

4) Birdman Think Lil Wayne Should've Been #1
I'm not mad at his opinion, he's supposed to think Wayne should've been #1. Its like being a football player on an average or crappy team and being asked if you're gonna make the playoffs, of course you're gonna say yes. The problem I have his him talking about doing the most and having the most. Come on nigga, you know damn well Wayne is NOT making the kinda money Jay-Z is making. There's really nothing more to argue or say, he's just not. End of story.

5) Trick Daddy Wants To Hook Back Up With Trina
Seems like an easy thing to be done, right?? I know Trick left Slip N Slide and all, but he should be able to just call her up. I mean he's probably gonna have to write her verse anyway so it shouldn't be a problem.

(Emphasis on all the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" in there.)

6) The Trade Jerry Jones Turned Down Was For TE Bennett
The other day, Jerry Jones admitted that he turned down a major deal at the trade deadline, but didn't want to mention who is was, what it was for, or the other team that was involved. Now their are reports out that it was the Bengals who wanted to make a deal, and Martellus Bennett was the man they wanted.

The ESPN report says this is what "sources" told them, but that probably just means Calvin Watkins (who wrote the story) follow Martellus on Twitter because he's really the one who announced it to the world this morning.

Thank goodness Jerry didn't pull the trigger, I like Marty B. His numbers aren't flashy, but he is a big part of the reason are rushing numbers look so good. Besides, he doesn't get the ball thrown his way often anyway and its hard to get stats without getting the ball. Smart move by Jerry. Now if only he had this will power last year when he was offered that bullshit Roy Williams trade.

This week Jay Sean reclaims his spot atop the Hot 100 with his single Down. I'm not sure how much longer he can keep it up though because The Black Eyed Peas' Meet Me Halfway finally made it to the top 10 (17-9) and has its black eyes set on #1.

50 Cent - Crime Wave

Okay, I guess. I'd rather hear this on a mixtape rather than on the actual Before I Self Destruct album. Honestly, I don't even know what to expect from that shit. Oh well, hopefully it'll be a pleasant surprise because even though I am a 50 fan, I'm not expecting much.

David Banner & 9th Wonder - Something Is Wrong (Remix) (feat. Twista, Naledge, Rhymefest, Skooda Chose & Lisa Ivey)

Something Is Wrong
Show out to David Banner for putting this together!

I'm loving this all Chicago remix, but the reason behind the song is just sad. Everybody went in though. I like how Naledge made the point of if there was no video footage of this kid getting killed, no one would care. I also fucked with what Rhymefest said about Chicago raising all that money for an Olympics they didn't even get and not giving the money to the people. Nice to hear that Twista can still spit though after the debacle that was his last album. Soooo bad!

Tuesday Morning MuZik!

I'm Good Remix

I'm glad they decided to keep the same beat as the original version because the track is straight fiyah! Everybody did their thing on their verse so I definitely fucks with this! This is South Florida cruising music and I love it.

Til The Casket Drops was actually scheduled to drop yesterday, but obviously that never happened.

If you haven't heard, Saigon's mother actually passed away yesterday. Its always tough to lose a love one, but parents especially. I have a few friends that lost theirs and I know its got to be a crazy feeling. Condolences to him and his family.

I remember this shit! It was on either NBA Live 08 or 09! Anyway, what did Wayne really contribute to the track?? He was just in the background making unnecessary auto-tuned chants. I didn't get that, but the original song is hot!

This was on a mixtape at some point, but its tag free now and its actually a good ass song. Its not that classy, but I fucks with it. I'm ready for some new Cass shit!

Speaking of mixtape tracks that are now tagless, here's the good version of that Jim Jones track I said I liked last week. This shit makes me wanna smoke weed and throw middle fingers up at random people in slow motion lol.

I wouldn't be that surprised if we heard a completed version of this on Thank Me Later (maybe as track 1 or 2??). I'm just sayin'.

This was aight, really nothing special.

Rihanna - Russian Roulette

Russian Roulette
Its comeback time for Rihanna and here's the first single from Rated R due November 23rd.

Not bad. I usually don't like Rihanna's music, but this song was well written, produced, and put together. You can credit Ne-Yo for that.

Now I'm sure a lot of women would've like to see her go the Mary J. "I'm stronger now" route on her comeback, but frankly, Rihanna doesn't have the voice for that. You have to have some real vocals to pull that off pain and soul, so she probably did the right thing by staying in her new weirdo, goth lane.

Gucci Mane - Spotlight (feat. Usher) (Prod. By Polow Da Don)

Spotlight
I know you've all been waiting for this moment for months, and here it is, the first single off Gucci Mane's new album The State vs. Radric Davis dropping December 8th.

LMAO! And this is the 6th hottest MC in the game?? Pathetic! Nobody can tell me this shit is hot. NOBODY! The Polow beat is good and the Usher hook is too, but the verses were so bad that its hard to even take it serious. You could literally pick ANY rapper and they could do a better job than this. Shawty Lo probably could've done more with this song than Gucci did. Polow and Usher basically gave this nigga a homerun and he struck out in a major way. This nigga can barely speak and then rapping about ElimiDATE and shit. What the fuck??

I cannot wait until his album drops, we're really gonna see how hot y'all really think he is. I got a bonus Gucci/Drake collabo after the jump, guess who had the best verse?? lol.

I'm not even gonna say it, but you know what I think about that first verse lol. Drake did pretty decent on the 2nd verse. He probably could've still won this battle fresh out of a dead sleep, but that's neither here nor there.

Nasty Nas Not Paying Taxes...c'mon son!
1) Federal Tax Lien Filed Against Nas
What the fuck is going on?? Didn't Meth just get popped for not paying his taxes like last week?? Now its coming out that my man Nas owes $2,584,206.31 (and really does the government REALLY need the 31 cent??) for not paying taxes in 2006 and 2007.

I know most celebs hire people to take care of their money for them, but c'mon son, y'all gotta make sure your taxes are done! Uncle Sam see's no race when he wants his damn money.

Speaking of Nas, what ever happened to that album with Damien Marley??

2) Just Blaze Confirms Working On Relapse 2
Wow, this ought to be interesting. I'm trying to imagine it, but I can't even put together how Eminem is gonna sound on a Just Blaze beat lol. I don't know if he's gonna get some slow, soulful shit like Just gave Jay-Z for Blueprint 1, or some of the more uptempo stuff he gave Joe Budden in '03?? I can't wait to hear what they cook up.

3) Stephon Marbury To Sit Out 2009-10 Season
Negro, you played in just 47 games from 2007-2009 (and not because of injury), what do you need to "shut everything down" for?? Lets keep it funky Steph, nobody is trying to bring you in. Of course you did pretty much nothing in your stint with the Celtics last year, but if Allen Iverson had a hard time finding a team and had to settle for Memphis, I KNOW no teams were checking for you. C'mon son! Keep it real!

4) WNBA's Detroit Shock Moving To Tulsa
This is just sad. I think it says more about the state of the WNBA than it does the city of Detroit. Nobody wants to watch girls play basketball, that's just the bottomline.

Friend of the B.S. Report, Kevin Wildes, actually had some pretty good ideas to keep people interested in the WNBA like shortening the goals so the ladies could dunk. The things he said made sense, so later on after work I'll go try to find it and post it up.
