Killer Mike - Pay Up/My City
This was supposed to be a reference track for Dr. Dre's Detox, but I'm guessing that fell through or something so Mike and Greg are releasing it on the mixtape. To be honest, its really not that hot so I don't blame the Doc for turning it down. I mean its okay, but nothing special. I like the hook, but Mike lost me when he said, "I figured it was only right I put it in his spine." It really doesn't matter though because Detox is never coming out anyway. You can keep waiting if you want, but I gave up on that shit long ago.

I know I've been M.I.A. lately, but damn what happened with Big and Killer Mike?? I mean I knew Kill left Purple Ribbon, but I thought they were still straight?? *In my best Chappelle voice* I thought y'alls was cool baby?? Sorry about that last one, you'd have to have seen For What It's Worth lol.
Anyway, I really don't know what happened (partly because I was watching an episode of Date My Mom with lesbians while this was playing lol) and if you do hit me up and let me know.
Yeah Killer has a point about that Something's Gotta Give, I mean its a straight song and all, but it ain't fuckin' with Pressure. I really don't know enough about what happened so I can't speak on it much more after that.

I let it be known I liked this track waaay back in February (and that Trina's verse kinda got me goin' lol) and its about damn time they shot a video. I mean I'm sure they can't actually play this on TV, but this shit is still jammin' to me (even without Luda lol).
Is it just me or did Trina just look like she didn't wanna be there in the first verse?? Killer Mike brought the life into the video, but those lil aerobic girls could all get it! So could homegirl in the green jumpsuit/skirt thingy lol.

This Week In Flops 7/8/08
Already having secure video of the year honors as far as I'm concern, Killer Mike is finally here with his much pushed back new album (and I know it has nothing to do with the music but that cover art is sick). I really have no expectations for this album sales wise, but I will say you shouldn't forget that this is an independent album. With that being said I'm putting my money on anywhere from 20k-40k.
Didn't Jean Grae retire?? Who knows but anyway check the album out no need to talk about sales with this one.
