This Palin Lady Isn't Too Bright, Is She?

Today while stumping in Ohio moose enemy #1 (aka Sarah Palinc) tried to make fun of Joe Biden's age (he's 65). You can click here to see what she said, but umm does she not realize the person she's running with is even older than Biden??? McCain's old ass is standing right there, does she not see him?? I mean she does know he's 72, right?? What an idiot. I hope she studies hard in "debate camp" this week because if her performance in those 3 interviews after interview camp are any indication, its already over for her.

Another thing, you know if Barack had said this about McCain's old ass it'd be all over the news. Fuck the bailout out falling through again, they'd be talking about this shit, but since Palin is a white republican woman its all good. Sad.

Anyway, the McCain camp's attempt to get the VP debate pushed back didn't work so don't forget to tune in this Thursday at 9.

You Know What I Love??

When a team losses a game and everyone makes it seem like its the end of the world lol. You know what I'm talking about and yes I'm mainly talking about the Cowboys. All over the TV and internet most people are putting down the Cowboys like we just lost a playoff game. Hello, its just week 4! Chill! We lost by 2 points to a division rival, I think we're gonna be alright lol.

These people are making it seem like they were expecting us to go undefeated or something. I never heard one person predict we'd go undefeated so why is everyone trying to shit on us now that we lost one game?? They didn't even go down on the Pats this fast after they lost Brady for the year lol. Again, we lost by 2 points! And if Sam Hurd catches that onside kick, that hit him right in the hands, we most likely go on and win.

Speaking of the Pats, who cares about going undefeated anyway?? We saw where that got them last year. And outside of the '72 Dolphins, every single Super Bowl winning team has lost at least one game in the regular season so everybody just needs to calm down.

Whatever, I rather lose in September than in January again. Our next 3 games are against teams with a combined records of 2-10 (including the Bengals next week and I'm sure it won't take us an extra period to beat them like it did the Giants last week lol) so again I think we're gonna be alright. Oh, and its funny how nobody is really talking about the 2-2 Eagles whom, after beating up on the lowly Rams, were praised and all of a sudden picked as contenders. Lastly, speaking of contenders, why is everybody now annointing the Redskins?? They're saying how great the look and what a great game they played, but if that was the case why did they only beat us by 2 when we're went playing up to par?? They were a Sam Hurd catch away from a loss so lets put things back in prespective here. Oh well, if they go to Philly and lose next week they'll be right back in everyone's dog house and all the analyst will retract what they're saying this week after than the McCain camp after Sarah Palin speaks lol.

Upset Special

Man it sucks that my Cowboys lost today...but the Eagles lost too so that makes me feel a lot better lol. Good job Bears....even though your offense is terrible and you only gained 2 yards in the 3rd quarter.

With that loss Philly becomes the first NFC East team to lose to a team outside the NFC East. That's a really meaningless stat, but I just thought I'd mention it anyway lol. Oh well either way its only week 4 and I got my 'Boys losing at least one more game this season so its all gravy. We're saving our winning streak of the playoffs this year.

Random News Shit: NBA Edition

Houston signs on for second comeback with Knicks

All I gotta say is why?? You're 37, haven't played in a NBA game since 2005 because you were forced to retire by injury, when you attempted to come back last year you played in just 1 preseason game before calling it quits, and now you wanna come play in the run-n-gun offense of Mike D'Antoni?? Nigga please, its time to give it up. In my opinion, once you become a sports analyst you should not even be allowed to attempt a comeback because it never works.

Clippers' Jason Williams announces his retirement

I guess he realized how dumb it was to leave the Heat after he saw how great D. Wade looked in the Olympics lol. Oh well, playing for the Clippers would make any man wanna retire lol. But speaking of D. Wade...

Wade ready to lead Heat back to prominence

Now, of course that doesn't mean the Heat are headed back to the Finals, but look out for this team in the East. A healthy Dwyane Wade, plus Shawn Marion, and Michael Beasley should at least be able to make it to the playoffs. And having Pat Reilly upstairs just concentrating on putting a solid team together should pay off (don't forget that after Pat went back solely upstairs last time he put together an NBA championship team. Watch out for your job Erik Spoelstra).

Report: Knicks' Walsh had cancer cut from tongue

Aww man that's gross! It also sucks balls, but its better than having it spread.

And The Winner Is...

Barack Obama baby! It was a good debate and McCain held is own, but Barack was constantly sonning him on pretty much every topic. Barack looked presidential and McCain just looked...well, kinda angry. It looked like he was ready to snap at any moment and that was without even looking in Barack's direction once. He kept saying Barack didn't "understand" but it was Barack that was coming with all the clear facts. And I know the republicans will try to spin shit and say 'oh, Obama agreed with McCain all night' or some crap like that, but you know you'll never hear about Barack's points or strong oppositions after the initial agreement.

I'm not the only one who thought Barack won though, a new CBS poll of about 500 undecided voters after the debate said that 39% also thought he won to only 24% who thought McCain won. The remaining 37% saw it as a tie. When the poll first came out I remember hearing it was 40% to 22%, but I dunno maybe they let some more peoplr vote after watching the Fixed Fox News post-debate spin lol. Welp we'll know who really won by Monday when some real polls come out, but I'm pretty sure they'll say pretty much the same thing.

Long story short, IMO (and the opinion of 39% of those polled) Barack won this debate. I bet the McCain camp wish they hadn't placed ads today saying he won the debate even before he confirmed that he was coming lol.

To Debate, Or Not To Debate...

Welp, today is the day...well its supposed to be the day at least. As you know, your boy John McHoover McCain is trying to have the debate pushed back because either 1) he's not prepared or 2) Palin is not prepared for her and he wants to buy her more time. Either way, the debate is tonight and McCain's people keep saying he's not coming. Obama will be there and they do have a plan B just in case McCain doesn't show. People will give questions to the moderator and it will turn into a nationally televised town hall meeting for Barack. I doubt the McCain camp want that and since he has nothing to offer in this bail out plan besides a vote, I'm guessing he's gonna be there. He'll probably try to make a grand entertrance so we can ooh and ahh at the American hero, but I ain't buying it and majority of the people out there with brains won't either.

Anyway, as of right now there is still no bail out plan set in stone because the House GOP (McCain is in the Senate) is holding the process up and from what I'm hearing on the news, McCain hurt the situation more than he helped by injecting presidential politics. Did anybody get a chance to see them in the meeting with Bush yesterday?? Didn't McCain look like he had no idea what the fuck was going on?? Deer in the headlights x50 lol. Whatever, McCain just better show up if he knows what's good for him and his delicate little moose killing flower, Sarah Palin.

**UPDATE**

Looks like ya' boy McCain smartened up and will gonna show up to the debate tonight in Mississippi. I know he and his advisers are basically morons, but there was no way he was not gonna show up.

Thursday Billboard Update - 9/25/08

A whole lot of movement this week on the Billboard 200 as new 5 albums debut in the top 10! Makes me even madder than I never got a chance to do This Week In Flops last week. Anyway, unable to knock off Metallica in there hot streak, Ne-Yo's third album Year Of The Gentleman debuts at #2 with 250,000 sold. Coming in right after that is Nelly's Brass Knuckles moving a lowly (by his standards) 84,000 units. I saw this coming a mile away because as you all know, in the music biz, once its over, its over...and its over for Nelly musically. I mean why else do you think it took him 4-5 singles to release this album?? And none of those singles popped off at all, even the one with Fergie and she's coming off a year where she had like 5 #1's lol. Lastly, down at #7 is DJ Khaled's We Global which managed 49,000 in its first week. Damn good for a Koch album so big ups to Khaled. Unfortunately for him it won't be such a happy day come Oct. 14th when Ace drops lol.

Like I told you yesterday, Kanye's Love Lockdown debuted at #3 on the Hot 100 today. That is the high debut of his career, I know, weird lol. Anyway, everything else pretty much remained the same besides Taylor Swift's Love Story (16-5) and Katy Perry's Hot N Cold (12-9) replacing T.I.'s Swagger Like Us (5-22) and Chris Brown's Forever (6-11).

first week debuts in bold

1. Metallica - Death Magnetic (1-1)
2. Ne-Yo - Year Of The Gentleman (2)
3. Nelly - Brass Knuckles (3)
4. Kid Rock - Rock N Roll Jesus (3-4)
5. Darius Rucker - Learn To Live (5)
6. Young Jeezy - The Recession (2-6)
7. DJ Khaled - We Global (7)
8. Buckcherry - Black Butterfly (8)
9. Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III (8-9)
10. The Game - L.A.X. (7-10)

  • Raphael Saadiq's The Way I See It debuts at #16 with 29,000 sold. Pretty darn good considering most didn't even know it was out.

The Billboard Hot 100 1-10

first week debuts in bold

1. T.I. - Whatever You Like (2-1)
2. Pink - So What (1-2)
3. Kanye West - Love Lockdown (3)
4. Rihanna - Disturbia (3-4)
5. Taylor Swift - Love Story (16-5)
6. M.I.A. - Paper Planes (4-6)
7. Ne-Yo - Closer (7-7)
8. T-Pain - Can't Believe It (8-8)
9. Katy Perry - Hot N Cold (12-9)
10. Estelle - American Boy (9-10)

  • Kevin Rudolf's Lil Wayne featured Let It Rock continues its rise (though I still never heard it) by jumping 33-21 this week.
  • Lil Wayne shows up again a few spots down at #24 as his new single Mrs. Officer jumps 10 spots.
  • Finally Nelly can say he has a single that's somewhat working for him this time around as his latest single Body On Me with Akon and Ashanti skies 29 spots 71-42.
  • John Legend's first single Green Light from his new album Evolver jumps 35 spots 79-44 this week. I'm glad because that shit is jammin'
  • I dunno if this is gonna be Khaled's new single, but Go Hard featuring Kanye and T-Pain just debuted at #69.

808's & Heartbreak Coming "November Something"; Love Lockdown Debuts #3

Welp so much for that 50/Kanye part 2 album battle because on Kanye's blog he said he's done with the album and that its gonna drop "November something" because he wants us to hear it "as soon as possible." So unless 50 moves his shit up too that idea is a wrap and in that case its a wrap for 50 moving major units because he needs Kanye more than Kanye needs him.

In other Kanye news, Love Lockdown is gonna debut at #3 tomorrow on the Billboard Hot 100. I can't say I'm particularly surprised by this seeing I said it'd be #1 the night it debuted on the VMAs after only hearing it once. I'm still mad at all the weirdo vocal effects Kanye is dick ridin' using, but I do like the new version of the song better than the original. Its a good song at heart, but it was just terribly executed in the recording process.

Now It All Makes Sense!

John McHoover McCain doesn't wanna postpone Friday's presidential debate because he's not prepared, he wants it postponed so Sarah Palin can have more time to prepare. I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier, it all makes perfect sense now: Palin needed more time to memorize her answer sheet, McCain used the financial crisis as an excuse to push his debate back, offers to reschedule it to the date of her debate, and to move her debate back to "a date yet to be determined."

I know all that sounds made up BUT, unfortunately, its the damn truth. That's right, CNN is reporting that the McCain camp has made this proposal to the Presidential Debate Commission. Sad, very sad.

The voice of reason in this whole mess, Barack Obama, thinks all the debates should go on as scheduled. Earlier in Clearwater, Florida he said, "I think that it is going to be part of the president’s job to deal with more than one thing at once." Thank you! And as one commenter said, "Congress needs McCain's help like I need my 2 year old son's help lifting a couch," so why not debate?? Hmm, maybe McCain just won't show up. Oh well, Obama '08!

McCain Suspends His Campaign, Wants Friday's Debate Delayed

Man, I'm watching 1st & 10 on ESPN2 when I decided to go on CNN's blog and I see John McBush McCain wants to suspend his campaign to go back to Washington and work on that $700 billion Wall Street bail out plan. Oh yeah, AND he wants to delay Friday's debate!

Who does he think he's fooling?? He is NOT prepared to see Obama in a debate and this is purely a political strategy to buy more time. Isn't this the same guy who, just last week, said the economy's fundamentals were strong?? Isn't this the same guy that said he doesn't realy understand the economy?? Now he wants to go back to Washington and work on the bail out plan?? Yeah right! We are not buying this GIMMICK. They do NOT need McCain there to get this deal done. He saw people coming back to Earth after their Palin high and needed to do something dramatic. That's all this is.

Okay, lets say he is doing this because he wants to get things done, why does he wanna push back the debate?? Can anyone come up with 1 good reason?? The debate is an hour and 30 minutes, starting at 9pm on Friday, Congress won't even be working then!

This is truly sad and goes to show that republicans will do and say whatever they have to to win. I wonder what excuse they'll give to not have the VP debate go on, God knows they've tried everything in the book to not let the media talk to Palin. Hopefully next time McCain suspends his campaign it'll be for good.

Surprise! Clay Aiken Is Gay

Wow! Surprise, sur-muthafuckin'-prise! In a cover story for People magazine, Clay Aiken is confirming that he is indeed gay....right. No disrespect, but what kinda headline story is this?? Seriously, who didn't know that nigga was gay since he first popped on the scene on the 2nd season of American Idol?? If you didn't there's something wrong with you lol.

You know, I knew something bad happened with him because last night when I check Google Trends (lets you know the most Googled things of the day) I saw his name at like #3 which was odd because I didn't hear about him having anything new coming out (besides himself of course lol).

Speaking of Google Trends, did you guys see the From G's To Gents reunion special last night?? Another popular search last night was Kesan because if you missed it Kesan straight rocked E6's world with a clean ass sucka punch (if my internet was on I'd YouTube for y'all but I'm sure its on WorldStar). I'm not too sure why Kesan's lil ho ass hit that man, but dude was just standing there spittin' and outta nowhere comes this lil bitch nigga. Shit kinda reminded me of that Joey Jihad hit when that nigga stole his car lol. Anyway, Kesan came off like a straight ho, but whatever it takes to feel like you're the man I guess.

Finally, Matt Millen Is Gone

Still no internet so I'll posts this week and last week's Flops tomorrow along with the Billboard Update.

Anyway, yeah I woke up, went to ESPN.com and there it was "BREAKING NEWS Alert: Millen Era Over In Detroit." Now, its still unclear whether he was fired or resigned, but he's definitely out of there. This comes a day after it was reported that Bill Ford Jr. (the owner, William Clay Ford's son) said he'd fire his ass if he had the authority.

Now, I honestly doubt he got fired because papa Ford loved the shit out of that nigga (he must've gave a helluva reach around lol), but maybe he realized he was a disgrace after going 31-84 while steering the ship with the Lions. Welp, all you Lions fans out there go jump for joy, Millen is officially gone.

Busta Is Back On His Bullshit

No, literally, he just changed the title of his upcoming album from Blessed back to Back On My Bullshit. More specifically, the album will rock the acronym B.O.M.B. because I doubt Wal-Mart and other popular retailers will shelf an album with "Bullshit" in the title.

Anyway, the album is still on schedule to come out Dec. 9th, but unfortunately my damn internet went back out earlier this afternoon so I never had a chance to post his new single Arab Money. Hopefully its back tonight and I can get back to rocking all the new music I got and post the Flops. Until then, peace!

How Bout Them Dolphins?!

Welp Joey Porter said the 'Phins were gonna get their first win today and boy did they! Pennington had a good game, Ronnie Brown had a monster of a game, and even Ricky Williams' crazy ass pitched in with 98 rushing yards. R. Brown ran for 113 yard, got 4 rushing TDs, and one passing! Unless Romo or T.O. does something amazing tonight its hard to not see him as the Offensive Player of the Week. Punk ass Pats, what losers lol.

On another note, how about them Giants?? Everybody is on their dick since they won the Super Bowl, but they struggled to put away the Redskins on opening day, beat up on the lowly Rams last week, and got taken to the brink by the Bengals in OT. From what I'm hearing, if Palmer had better clock management in regulation they might've actually won. Damn shame. Oh well my 'Boys are on center stage tonight so I'm happy. Wish us luck.

Aight, lets go!

T.I. - What Up, What's Haapnin'

I think I would've liked this more if I didn't find out they had squashed their beef. On the other hand, I'm actually kinda glad its over because it had got totally boring and one-sided lol. Still a hot video though and the track is still on fiyah!

Ludacris - What Them Girls Like (Feat. Chris Brown & Sean Garrett)

I actually saw this on TV before I saw it online and obviously my first thought was 'who the fuck casted the bald chick??' I mean she might be fine, but I can't be messing with no bald-headed ass females...that's just weird lol. Oh, and is Chris Brown really gonna be in a movie because judging from that opening scene he's a terrible actor lol.

Joell Ortiz - Memories

Damn, Juicy Judy was thick!

Q-Tip - Gettin' Up

I saw this earlier on a 106 & Park re-run and its a VERY dope video. Kinda reminds me of that Kweli Hot Thing video. Either way the song is hot so I fuck with it.

Glasses Malone - Malone

Whatever happened to that track with Akon?? I thought that shit was really gonna put him on I mean Khaled was spinnin' it and all. Oh well this shit is dope too.

Busta Rhymes Signs With Universal Motown

I remember hearing about Busta getting dropped from Interscope over the summer, but I never believed. Actually, I still don't, but evidently he's now signed to Universal Motown. Welp, maybe now we can get Blessed some time this year. I'm hearing Dec. 9th is the date, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Kanye Vs. 50 Part II!

I heard that this might be the case before, but it looks like Interscope is confirms that Kanye Vs. 50 Part II is now official. Apparently somebody from Interscope has confirmed that Before I Self Destruct (50's last album for the label) will indeed be released on Dec. 9th, the week before Yeezy's 808s & Heartbreak, just as he said it would in that video where he's singing Love Lockdown.

We all know what happened last time, but with Kanye buggin', will this time be different?? I dunno, I guess we'll have to wait and see. I know I'm personally waiting to see what kinda single 50 comes with, but if he has another I Get Money in him this might be a wrap.

Thursday Billboard Update - 9/18/08

Welp, in just 3 days on the market (it came out last Friday instead of last Tuesday), Metallic's Death Magnetic pretty much beat its competition the fuck up by pushing 490,000 units. The #2 album on the 200, Young Jeezy's The Recession, moved 400,000 less than that lol. Shout out to Jessica Simpson who, on top of not jinxing us in that Philly game Monday, had her first country album Do You Know debut at #4 with 65,000 sold. I thought it was over for Tha Carter III in the top 10, but the lil nigga is resilient as he jumps back up 2 spots to #8. And lastly, LL Cool J's 13th studio album Exit 13 came in at #9 with just 44,000. I wonder if he's gonna blame Jay-Z again?? lol.

After a couple of weeks atop the Hot 100, T.I.'s boring ass single Whatever You Like is knocked off by Pink's new single So What. Debuting at #5 is T.I.'s extremely lackluster track Swagger Like Us featuring Jay-Z, Kanye, and Lil Wayne. Interesting, I didn't even know it was a single or even officially released lol. Also entering the top for the first time this week are T-Pain and Wayne's Can't Believe It (12-8), Estelle's American Boy (53-9), and Wayne and T-Pain's Got Money (15-10).

1. Metallica - Death Magnetic (1)
2. Young Jeezy - The Recession (1-2)
3. Kid Rock - Rock N Roll Jesus (4-3)
4. Jessica Simpson - Do You Know (4)
5. Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone (5-5)
6. Jonas Brothers - A Little Bit Longer (6-6)
7. The Game - L.A.X. (3-7)
8. Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III (10-8)
9. LL Cool J - Exit 13 (9)
10. Various Artists - Mamma Mia! sdtk (7-10)
  • Eric Benet's Love & Life debuts at #11 with 40,000 sold. That might be a little to most BUT if you've been keeping track of his career you'd know he's never debuted that high seeing that he's mainly known for being the fool that cheated on Halle Berry. What an idiot lol.
  • Gym Class Heroes' The Quilt debuts at #14 with just 32,000 sold. I thought these guys were famous?? Oh well.
  • Kardinal Offishall's latest album Not 4 Sale flopped hard by just selling 12,000 and coming in at #40.
  • And just I wanna take this time to acknowledge that I was waaaaay off on all of my picks last week. I should get a pass though since I had to do it in a rush at work lol.

The Billboard Hot 100 1-10

1. Pink - So What (2-1)
2. T.I. - Whatever You Like (1-2)
3. Rihanna - Disturbia (3-3)
4. M.I.A. - Paper Planes (5-4)
5. T.I. - Swagger Like Us (5)
6. Chris Brown - Forever (4-6)
7. Ne-Yo - Closer (8-7)
8. T-Pain - Can't Believe It (12-8)
9. Estelle - American Boy (53-9)
10. Lil Wayne - Got Money (15-10)
  • Ne-Yo's Miss Independent jumps 7 spots 27-20.

New Eminem Album Really On The Way??

Thank goodness! Here's what he told Tony Touch on his Sirius Satellite station Shade 45:

"I always do side projects and produce for artists on the label... I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now - just banging out tracks. The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

Okay, its not much, but with Kanye totally on some other shit and auto-tune actively killing whatever is left of Hip-Hop's corpse, this is like the best news ever. PLEASE let this be true! Dammit music sucks balls right now lol.

If you didn't know I also write for another website called TheBreezyEffect.com (just that shit out!) and I was just checking in to see if my girl Breezy (yes, formerly SOHH Breezy) had posted a pic for my post earlier and I came across the sad news that Joe Budden's album Padded Room just got pushed back from Oct. 28th to Feb. 24th, 2009!

Shit is CRAZY! Man, this some bullshit right here! Why do they keep trying my boy?? Good news though, there is gonna be an album coming out then, just not that one. You can get more info on all that by clicking on the source below. I'm out!

Kanye West - Love Lockdown (New Version)

Welp, here's the "new" version of Love Lockdown. I'm obviously not gonna be able to hear until I get a chance to download it at work and bring it home (I'm off until Thursday) so somebody let me know if this shit is any better.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Okay, I FINALLY got a chance to hear it and it is better than the original...still not as good as on the VMAs, but I'll take this any day over the original.

New Version Of Love Lockdown??

I see someone decided to rethink pushing that terrible sounding version of Love Lockdown. Now, I'm almost positive it'll still suck, but at least he's trying lol. Anyway check out what he wrote on his blog:

Your prayers have been answered!! There's a new version of love Love Lockdown coming. We used new taiko drums and I re-sung it... it's being Mastered now....

Sidebar... if you don't like autotune... too bad cause I love it and have been using it since the College Dropout!!!

Too bad?? Unless 'Ye is planning on buying a whole bunch of copies of his own next album then its gonna be too bad for him. In Kanye's own words "we don't wanna hear that weak shit no moooore." Seriously, how many niggas has auto-tune helped outside of T-Pain and Lil Wayne?? Snoop used it, flopped. G-Unit used it, flopped. And from the overall negative response to Love Lockdown, Mr. West was next in line.

Oh yeah, and as far as him using it on College Dropout, the only time I remember hearing it was on that one skit before All Falls Down...and it wasn't even him using it. Plus, it was a damn skit, not a whole song, or a whole album for that matter. Wake up Mr. West, you got a confused as fan over here!

Update

Wassup people?? I figured I'd check in and give an update on my situation. Basically the site is going to continue to be slow for probably the next 2 weeks because on top of my internet situation, my fuckin' keyboard broke so now I can't type shit even when I get my internet back. Now, I said 2 weeks because I have money, but that's going towards the rent and somehow I think having a place to stay is more important than a keyboard right lol. Just bare with me here, I should be back up and running fully soon.

On a side note, I probably wouldn't be posting anything today anyway because as you might have heard my Cowboys play the punk ass Eagles tonight! My full attention will be there tonight and I'm even gonna miss I Want To Word For Diddy and Luke but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make lol.

And another thing, while everybody is so focused on the Eagles beating us by 4 in December and Romo and T.O. struggling against them, I'm gonna take this time to remind everyone that we whupped them by 21 in November with both players playing just fine. Oh, you forgot about that one?? Well let me take the time to refresh your memory: Romo went 20/25 for 324 and 3 touchdowns and T.O. caught 10 passes for 174 yards in the 38-17 spanking.

Now, I'm not saying we are gonna roll again tonight, but just don't forget that we can beat the Eagles because we have plenty times before and will plenty times to come.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Finally, here it is! Unfortunately, I'm not at work so I can't download it and bring it home at least or even upload it to DivShare. Oh well, you know I'm always gonna look out so here's some links for your enjoyment:

Okay, I went to work, downloaded the track, and brought it home and my verdict is in. You can read what I think under the link.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Tell me how the official version sounds, I'll be back later to envy you because you can hear it and I can't lol.

What the fuck is this shit?!? I mean man, what happened?? On the VMAs this sounded track sounded epic, like some of that real stadium status shit he talked about on Graduation, but this shit here sounds fucked! This shit sounds like it was recorded in the 1950s, and just in case you were wondering, no that's NOT a good thing. And what is going on with the hook?? You can't even make out what he's saying.

I can't believe it, I really can't. This from the man who penned and produced Jesus Walks, Roses, All Falls Down, Drive Slow, Two Words, and many other classic records has reduced himself to this. How could he have let this out of the studio??
I almost feel bad for him because not only has he lost his lovely mother and fiance, but he's obviously lost his mojo so no I will NOT be checking for this 808 & Heartbreak album.

On a side note, I read somewhere that he's gonna do the whole album with the auto-tune (aka the I'm-dick-ridin-T-Pain-&-I-like-it) effect. Also, the album will be released on something called Pendulum Records and not Def Jam and is more like a side project than a real album. Either way I ain't fuckin' with it and y'all know I'm one of the biggest Kanye fans out there.

Thursday Billboard Update - 9/11/08

The new king off the Billboard 200 is Young Jeezy as his 3rd solo album The Recession moves 256,000 units. Last week's #2, The Game, moves one spot down to #3 as L.A.X. Moves 89,000 in its 2nd week. Lastly, this may be Lil Wayne's final week in the top 10 as Tha Carter III finds itself moving back 6-10. If it is indeed his last week he had a good run no matter what I or anybody else has to say about him.

There was only one major move made in the top 10 this week and that was Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl finally falling out of the top 10 to make way for Flo Rida and will.i.am's In The Ayer which jumps 21-9.

1. Young Jeezy - The Recession (1)
2. New Kids On The Block - The Block (2)
3. The Game - L.A.X. (2-3)
4. Kid Rock - Rock N Roll Jesus (3-4)
5. Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone (1-5)
6. Jonas Brothers - A Little Bit Longer (4-6)
7. Various Artists - Mamma Mia! sdtk (5-7)
8. Underoath - Lost In The Sound Of Separation (8)
9. Chris Tomlin - Hello Love (9)
10. Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III (6-10)
  • Donnie Klang's debut album, Just A Rolling Stone, comes in at #19 with just 22,000 albums sold. And why did they push his album back again?? Needless to say this season of MTB4 will probably be the last time you hear from him.

The Billboard Hot 100 1-10

1. T.I. - Whatever You Like (1-1)
2. Pink - So What (3-2)
3. Rihanna - Disturbia (2-3)

ThisThis Week In Flops 9/10/08

I was able to steal a few minutes on the internet here at work so here's an short version of This Week In Flops for you.

LL is still the man, but unfortunately none of his singles are poppin' so I'm guessing he does somewhere between 80k-110k.

Unlike LL, Kardi actually has a track blazing on radio BUT unfortunately its not gonna help him much in the sales department. I'm guessing 50k-75k.
When was the last time this nigga dropped?? Matter of fact, I didn't even know he was coming out with a new album lol. I'm gonna guess you didn't either and put out a guess of 10k-25k

808's & Heartbreak

Aight so my internet is still fuckin' up and won't connect. I guess I'll call AT&T in the morning but I hate talking to those foreigners at the help desk...so frustrating lol.

Anyway, according to Amazon.com Kanye's new album is gonna be called 808's & Heartbreak. That's right, no more Good Ass Job! I read on MTV.com earlier that in addition to Love Lockdown, he also has a song called Heartbreak which explains that part of the title...not sure if there is one for the 808 part. The release date they have is December 16 so lets keep our fingers crossed for that. Lets also keep our fingers crossed that Love Lockdown will finally be released tomorrow because I've been waiting to put that on repeat in my car since I heard it Sunday lol.

AT&T Is Fuckin' Up!

Wassup y'all?? Man, I uploaded like 7 tracks and been waiting on that new Kanye to come out, but now I can't do shit. We had a few power surges today and now my got damn internet is out so everything is postponed because I can't do much on the ol' Sidekick. I'm gonna try to get those tracks up and this week's This Week In Flops tomorrow, but no guarantees because I have no idea when my shit is gonna come back lol.

You know the worst part of the power surges?? I was starting my 6th season on Madden '09 and was in the 3rd or 4th quarter of my 3rd game when another one happened a few minutes ago so I lost all 3 games! I was so damn dominant in them hoes too! Oh well, no use of crying over spilled milk. Peace!

Kanye West - Love Lockdown (Live)

Here was the pretty much the only highlight of the show last night for me so check it out if you missed it:

You know I had a feeling Kanye was not gonna confine his performance to that little ass room they held the VMAs in and I'm glad he didn't. Anyway, I'm telling you now that this is most likely gonna be a huge international hit so if you don't like Kanye you might as well get mad now lol.

Somebody Needs To Be Fired!

Ayo I dunno who put this year's VMAs together, but somebody needs to be fired! I dunno if they spent this year's budget trying to do that shit in Las Vegas last year, but fuck! MTV, you can do better than this. First off, what was up with that little ass room it was in?? Shit looks like the place where they tape FNMTV. Hell, Club Comic View had more room than that lol. On top of all that Russell Brand was dry as hell for the most part. I liked him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but stand-up ain't for everybody lol. You know something is wrong in the world when the BET Awards were better than the VMAs.

The best part of the show, to me, was Kanye's performance of his new single Love Lockdown. I really didn't know what to think before he came on because the of type of shit he's been on lately, but I thought the song was dope. I mean I gotta hear the mp3 to make a final determination, but it sounded good live. I'm just happy he didn't come with no T-Pain shit because honestly that's what I thought he was gonna do...but he didn't so I'm proud...plus Love Lockdown sounds very #1 single-ish to me. Now, I dunno what was up with that PeeWee Herman suit he had on, but that's a whole other conversation lol.

Oh yeah, and were me and Andy the only 2 to notice Lil Wayne had a lip ring in?? I mean the nigga was already extremely homo-ish, but damn! lol. Oh, and damn Britney is back nigga, she was lookin' fine as hell like it was '98 all over again lol.

Nightmare In New England

I was at work earlier and I was keeping track of all the games on ESPN Mobile, but when I went to check on the Pats/Chiefs game and saw "Cassel" and now Brady I started jumping for joy lol. At that point I knew he was hurt, but now its official and big bad NFL savior Tom Brady is OUT FOR THE SEASON!

Now, I don't mean to applaud somebody getting hurt, but if it was anybody I'm glad it was him lol. I was hoping for it all of last year, but now all my dreams have come true! Okay, maybe that's a bit much...oh well lol.

You know, I do have a funny feeling about this because I don't think he was ever truly healthy in the first place man maybe this is all just a cover-up but with those guys who really knows.

Romo for MVP!

www.SarahPalinExposed.com

This very well might be the best website on the internet! Since the rethuglicans don't wanna let her be interviewed and answer some of the questions somehow deemed "sexist" somebody took the honor of putting her out for us. Be grateful. Check out the website.

One of my favorite posts is "Wasilla City Hall vs Illinois State Capitol" where they compare the Wasilla City Hall where Palin served from 1992-2002 to the Illinois State Capitol where Barack served as a state senator from 1997-2004. The picture of the 2 buildings side-by-side is a freakin' joke! The Wasilla City Hall looks like a gotdamn corner store! Seriously, you're not gonna tell me it doesn't look like you can get a bomb ass hot sausage and quarter water from there lol. They also point of that District 13, where Barack served, had a population of 210,496, while Palin's entire town of Wasilla is has a current estimated population of just 9,780. Sad.

There's so many good things in there so check out the website.

Barack & Biden Fire Back!

Oh, you thought the next president and VP were gonna let that fuckery we call the RNC ride?? I think not! Watch Barack go in on his Friday in Terra Haute, IN:

The sad thing is that that wasn't a joke, the rethuglicans really do think you're stupid. And I still can't believe McSame is trying to STEAL Barack's campaign line after ridiculing it in the past. No ideas original...sad. I honestly don't think the old GOP games will matter this time though because Barack is a different type of politician and has a different type of following, but I guess we'll see Nov. 5th.

Now, lets let the new Joey B. get some:

Fuck what you heard, he's gonna eat Palin alive in the VP debate lol.

Now, Barack sons them on trying to play him for being a community organizer for 3 years...STRAIGHT OUT OF COLLEGE! (What was Palin doing one she graduated the University of Idaho with her lil B.A.???):

I'm telling you man, I have a good feeling about this election!
