Thursday Billboard Update - 2/11/10

Lady Antebellum
Last week's #1, Lady Antebellum Need You Now, remains on top, but debuting at #2 is Lil Wayne's Rebirth. His abomination to Rock sold 176,000 in its first week. (Finally a semi-smart marketing move by Cash Money! I forgot he was even "going to jail" this week, and that's they dropped this piece of shit when they did. And now that he doesn't actually have to go to jail until NEXT month, I say it was a pretty nice bait and switch by the new Bad Boy. Take that, take that!)

Black Eyed Peas' Imma Bee doesn't make it to #1 this week, but its Grammy push was good enough for #2. They also brought I Gotta Feeling back into the top 10 at #9, bumping Rihanna's Hard back outside.

  • I guess people were really feeling her performance at the Grammys because Pink's Glitter In The Air debuts at #18.
  • Timbaland and Drake's Say Something moves another 10 spaces north 46-36 this week.
  • Lil Wayne's Knockout, off of the abomination known as Rebirth, debuts at #44.
  • B.o.B's first single sees some movement in its 2nd week as Nothin' On You jumps 24 spots 89-65. B.o.B Presents The Adventures Of Bobby Ray is due May 25th.
  • People must've loved this Grammy performance as well because Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli's Bridge Over Troubled Water checks in at #75.
  • Lil Wayne sees another Rebirth track debut this week as Fuck Today with Gudda Gudda debuts at #76.
  • One more Wayne debuts at #91 with American Star featuring Shanell. There's NO doubt in my mind this is because everyone thought he was going to jail this week and NOT because they want to play the music.
  • Some song called Lemonade by Gucci Mane comes in at #93 in its 1st week.
