NFL Winners & Losers: Week 14

New podcast with Tye! You're definitely gonna wanna check this one out if you never have before. Trust me.

Now is the time to see what my Cowboys are really made of. We were publicly humiliated last week in Arizona (or at least our coach was), but the sting didn't hurt as bad as it should've because all of the teams we're fighting with for playoff spots (Giants, Bears, Lions, and Falcons) loss as well. We can't expect that to be the case this week, and to avoid needing a Week 17 victory in New York to make the postseason, Dallas must win Sunday.

Miles Austin is back from his hamstring injury, which should take some pressure off of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten, but the most important returning player could quite possibility be fullback Tony Fiammetta. In games with Fiammetta, Dallas is 5-1 and averaging 145.8 yards rushing, in games without him those numbers drops to 2-4 and 83.8. Long story short, I'm glad to have him back. Cowboys winners, Giants losers.

New Orleans won't be playing at home this week, which means there's an actual possibility they won't win. Will Tennessee upset them? Probably not, but at least there's a possibility since the game isn't in the Superdome. Saints winners, Titans losers.

Remember when Cincinnati was 6-2? Seems like forever ago, right? Well if they wanna keep their playoff hopes alive, they better be prepared to do what no one would've ever predicted would be said: stop T.J. Yates. I think they will. Bengals winners, Texans losers.

Chicago couldn't beat Tyler Palko... at home. Broncos winners, Bears losers.

(Side note: Poor Matt Forte.)

Cleveland will play Pittsburgh tough(-ish), but much like the results through majority of their histories, Pittsburgh will come out victorious. Steelers winners, Browns losers.

Just in case you needed another reason why Washington won't be able to compete in this game, Fred Davis and Trent Williams have been suspended for the remainder of the season. Pats winners, Redskins losers.

Carolina is on its first 2 game winning streak of the year, but can they make it 3 against a division opponent? I sure hope so. Panthers winners, Falcons losers.

This one is simple: Miami is playing great, Philly is playing poor. Dolphins winners, Eagles losers.

San Fran should be fine as long as their coach doesn't ice his own kicker before he nails the game winning field goal. 49ers winners, Cardinals losers.

Much like the Bears last week, if the Jets can't beat Tyler Palko they don't deserve to make the playoffs (like the Bears now most likely won't). Jets winners, Chiefs losers.

I need Minnesota to go ahead and get win number 3 to help insure my Cowboys a playoff spot, but we all know that isn't happening. Lions winners, Vikings losers.

Phail Rivers finally got his mojo back, and it only took 11 weeks. Awesome. Chargers winners, Bills losers.

Can we just advance the Packers to 16-0 now? There's no way they lose any of these last 4 games. Packers winners, Raiders losers.

Poor Colts. Well, at least they covered that 20 point spread last week. That's something, right? Ravens winners, Colts losers.

This battle for Florida is a toss up. I guess I'll take Tampa. Buccaneers winners, Jaguars losers.

Damn, it's just fail after fail after fail for Monday Night Football this year. Seahawks winners, Rams losers.
