Random News Shit: NBA Trade Edition

Welp, today at 3pm is the NBA's trade deadline so lets catch up with all the wheeling and dealing that's been going on.

1) Trade Returns: Chandler Fails Physical, Sent Back To N.O.
They should have never traded Tyson in the first place, but he's gonna be PISSED when he gets back to New Orleans lol. I think we can go ahead and write the Hornets off as a contender this season.

2) Bulls to land Salmons, Miller for Nocioni, Gooden
Okay so the Bulls get John Salmons and Brad Miller by sending Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni, Michael Ruffin, and Cedric Simmons to the Kings. Question: Didn't the Bulls trade Brad Miller to the Kings in the first place?? Now they have him back. Great.

Speaking of this trade, the Kings immediately traded Michael Ruffin to the Trail Blazers for Ike Diogu and cash. They also waived Quincy Douby and Sam Cassell, who the just acquired from Boston Tuesday! I'm sure the Celts will sign him back or he'll just retire.

3) O'Neal gets start -- and hurt -- in Heat debut
How surprised are we that J.O. got hurt in his first game with the Heat?? lol. The good news is that the X-Rays were negative and he was able to come back later in the 4th quarter and ended up with 13 points in the 111-104 loss to the T-Wolves.

4) Lakers trade Mihm to Grizzlies for future draft pick
I swear I didn't even realized Chris Mihm was in the league until Andrew Bynum got hurt lol. Remember when he was the 7th pick in the 2000 draft?? Wow! Another American white guy draft bust lol. Wait, was that racist?? Umm, sorry.

Well then again, the 2000 draft was pretty terrible overall. Maybe the worst ever. Here are your 2000 lottery picks:

1) Kenyon Martin
2) Stromile Swift
3) Darius Miles
4) Marcus Fizer
5) Mike Miller
6) DerMarr Johnson
7) Chris Mihm
8) Jamal Crawford
9) Joel Przybilla
10) Keyon Dooling
11) JĂ©rome MoĂ¯so
12) Etan Thomas
13) Courtney Alexander
14) Mateen Cleaves

Wooooow! How abysmal this that?? Half of them aren't even in the league anymore! And the best player in this draft class, Michael Redd, was the 43rd overall pick! Madness!
