In April, LeBron James lead the Heat to a 6-1 record and averaged 28.5 points, 8 assists, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.8 steals while shooting 55% from the field. This is LeBron's 3rd East Player of the Month award of the 2010-11 season. It's a good thing he's on punishment by the league because there's no way the best player 3 out of the 6 months of the season is MVP-worthy.
Out on the West, Kevin Durant lead his squad to a 5-3 mark in April while averaging 26.8 points and 7.3 rebounds. This is KD's 2nd Player of the Month award of the season. Good thing he wasn't in the MVP conversation either, I mean, all he did was lead the league in scoring.
