The MLB's Worst Nightmare Just Became Reality

That's right, the World Series is set and its the Phillies vs. the Rays! That's a far cry from the Dodgers vs. Red Sox blockbuster series they were all hoping and praying for. They could've had possibly one of the highest rated World Series of all-time! Manny going back to Boston to face his old team with former Yankee manager Joe Torre, you can't beat that in baseball. The MLB was 2 hot teams away from the dream and now because of this I'm sure some desks and chairs are getting flipped over at the league office as we speak lol. So sad. This is almost equivalent to what would've happened in the NBA Finals had the Spurs beat the Lakers and the Pistons beat the Celtics lol.

Well at least now we know why Fox was so willing to push the start of one of the World Series games back to broadcast that 30-minute Barack Obama spot he purchased last week lol.
