Thursday Billboard Update - 10/30/08

Pretty boring week on the Billboard 200, but that's okay because things are gonna be crazy in a few weeks when the holiday season officially kicks off. Maybe even next week because Jennifer Hudson's debut will get a bump next week because of that sad situation involving her family. Though I'm sure its the furtherest thing from her mind.

Anyway, AC/DC's new album moved 784,000 in its first week and moved in front of Coldplay for 2nd highest debut of the year behind Tha Carter III. Mary Mary's new album The Sound debuts at #7 with 37,000 sold.

The only news of the day is the lovely Beyonce's new single If I Were A Boy jumping 65 spots 68-3. The last 2 singles (Love Lockdown and Womanizer) to oppose T.I.'s strong hold were both turned away, but I think B is ready to take over. I was just sitting in the car last night listening to this song saying to myself its gonna make a huge splash in the upcoming weeks and here it is today. Nothing else really happened today though.
