Yankees Open New Stadium With A Loss

Yeah the Yankees lost to the Indians in their first game in their new stadium seems like a minor thing, but in actuality it effects so much more. Back when the Dallas Cowboys got destroy 44-6 by Philly in the season finale, I spent about a week just being depressed. During that time I wrote about 5 or 6 theories to explain/justify our season going awry and one of them was the "New York Yankees theory." This theory basically says the Cowboys and Yankees were so closely linked last year (both moving out of legendary stadiums for huge new billion dollars stadiums, both missing the playoffs, etc.) that when the Yanks lost the last game in Yankee Stadium, it was all but promised that the Cowboys would lose their last game at Texas Stadium.

I say all that to say this: Now that the Yankees have lost their inaugural game in the new Yankee Stadium, I'm 100% positive the Cowboys will lose theirs against the Giants September 20th. Book it. The Cowboys are gonna lose that game and they are gonna lose it badly. Remember where you heard it first, the Cowboys WILL lose their home openers against the Giants at the new Texas Stadium.
