Brett Favre Retires Again...Again...Again!

Minnesota Vikings Brett Favre leaves the field after his team was defeated by the New Orleans Saints in the NFL's NFC Championship football game in New Orleans, Louisiana January 24, 2010.
Man, the NFL must be pissed! They scheduled the Vikings for the first game of the season on September 9th and you know they didn't plan on them showing up Favre-less. You've got to be crazy if you think the NFL is looking forward to a primetime match-up of Drew Bress vs. Tarvaris Jackson. Favre might not even have to un-un-unretire, he might just get a league rep at his doorstep telling him he can't, because outside of the first game, the Vikes have 3 more primetime spots in 2010.

So let's cut to the chase, when does Favre come back?? We know he's coming back, so when?? Let's set the over/under at Sept. 9th since that's the Vikings first game. I say under, and if one of the Minny QBs gets hurt in camp or preseason, I say you can bank on it. We'll see if Favre wants to ride the "Are you serious, this guy is coming back AGAIN!" pony, but I guess we all shall see.

(Side note: Is Favre the first person in sports history to retire from 3 different teams in the same sport?? He's retired from the Packers, Jets, and now Vikings. Michael Jordan retired from 3 different teams, but one of them was a minor league baseball team. I'm talking about all 3 in one sport?? Somebody find that out for me)

(Side side note: Don't be so down on Tarvaris Jackson, he had a 113.4 passer rating last season. Of course he only threw 21 passes, all of which came in garbage time, but that's neither here nor there.)
