A Few Thoughts On Soulja Boy vs. Fabolous

Thought #1: Soulja Boy is such a fuckin' loser!
There's no way around it, the guy is a lame. Beside the fact he's terrible at making music, outside the fact he's a likely coke monster, and beyond the fact he stuck his dick into Kat Stacks, the man is just supremely lame.

And yes, I used the word MAN on purpose. Believe or not, Soulja Boy is not 15 anymore, he's a grown man of 20 years, so let's stop acting like he's a child that needs to be defended. The excuse of "he's just a kid making music for kids" is OVER. Stop using it. He's grown and lame, that's just what it is.

Thought #2: Why is Soulja Boy mad at Fabolous??

Seriously, why?? This seems so random, does it not?? Is it because Fab said he had "Stupid Boy Swag" 2 weeks ago?? Out of everybody that made fun of him for getting Kat Stacks'd, he picked Fabolous to "beef" with?? Further reinforcement for thought #1.

Thought #3: Soulja Boy does know he's still Soulja Boy, right??
Look, it's been well documented by the likes of Rick James and Dave Chappelle, cocaine is indeed a helluva drug. This we know. But did Soulja Boy get high to the point he thought he was someone else??

Hear me out. I don't follow Soulja on Twitter (as you shouldn't), but I read some of the things he had to say about Fab. He was talking about Fab is wack, he doesn't sell any record, and he even said he's gonna punch him in the face when he see's him. Uhh, let's dissect these allegations levied by Soulja Boy against Fabolous right quick.

1) Fab is wack: Really?? Because if Fab is wack, what exactly does that make you, Soulja?? Double wack?? Negative wack?? Double-negative wack?? I really want to know. Maybe the coke made him think he was Big Boi or T.I. or someone with talent, because with his track record, it should be against the law for him to call ANYONE else wack. I don't care if it's Gucci Mane, the guy who made Goku can't call any other rapper wack because he resides at the bottom of the bottom in all facets of rap.

2) Fab doesn't sell records: Oh, and you do?? Maybe somebody needs to reminds lil Soulja that he doesn't exactly move big units himself. Again, we've established that cocaine is a helluva drug, but has Soulja Boy forgotten iSouljaBoyTellem debuted at #43 with 34,000 sold first week only 1 year after he was the "hottest" thing in the game?? At least Fabolous has 2 platinum plaques, you only have one and it took you a dance craze, YouTube, ringtones, and a now dead snap movement to get that. Maybe he uses the coke to suppress all memories of that album ever happening??

3) He's gonna punch Fab when he see's him: When someone announces that they're going to hit someone or fight someone, that usually means they aren't going to do it. It's also the mark of someone who is looking to get a fight broken up as soon as possible if they do have the balls to swing on who they said they would swing on in the first place. Now I'm not saying Fabolous is a super thug or nothing, but we all know Soulja Boy isn't.

Besides, if he really wanted to hit him, the VMAs are this Sunday and I'm sure both of them are going to be there. If punching someone was really on your agenda, why not just wait and punch him then instead of telling the world?? Oh yeah, that's right, it's because you're a lame crying out for attention.

Thought #4: Respect is earned, not given.
The overriding theme I noticed from reading Soulja Boy's bitch fit via Twitter was respect. He wants people to respect him because he feels like he isn't getting any.

Here's the question though, why should they?? Seriously, all joking aside, if Soulja Boy sat down, looked at his career and his body of work, does he really think he's in line to be respected in Hip-Hop?? Yeah, he sold some record and had a #1 hit 3 years ago, but for that people are just supposed to give you respect?? I'm sorry Soulja, that's not how this whole respect thing works. You want to be a rapper, well get better! Your new music is arguably worse than your old music, that isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for respect.

Here's an idea, instead of bitching about people not respecting you, make some good music and MAKE them respect you. If you're just gonna keep putting out sloppy wack shit like this, don't get mad when nobody respects you.

Oh, and not fuckin' hoes like Kat Stacks might help as well.

Thought #5: Why isn't Soulja Boy considered a hater??
This is what kills me, if Fabolous started going at Soulja Boy for no reason everybody would be running around saying "damn, Fab hatin" or "Fab is such a hater," but since it's a known garbage rapper going at a talented one, it's okay. That's wack to me. It's just like when a fat person cracks on a skinny person for being skinny it's funny, but when a skinny person cracks on a fat person for being fat, all of a sudden they're insensitive and it's a problem. Bullshit! Fuck Soulja Boy, he's a hater. He hates on our ears with his music and he hates on his nose with his habit. He's a hater.

Okay, I'm done. It's a shame this was all for nothing though because Soulja Boy is supposed to squash him "beef" with Fab tonight at 8pm on Power 105 with DJ Clue. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
