This Week In Flops 3/31/09
Flo Rida has defied the odds, he's releasing a 2nd album with a single at #1 on the Hot 100. Unfortunately his single sales are gonna dominate his album sales once again. Mail On Sunday did 85,000 in its first week, but I have a feeling R.O.O.T.S. won't even quite manage that. I'm gonna go with 50k-70k on Flo's 2nd effort. (Hopefully its better than his first musically because that 1st album was trash.)

I wanted to do this last week and never found the time with the move going on, but I just wanted to take time out to show love to D League. Heat Retire Zo's No. 33
I got to see a lot of this nearly 30 minute ceremony last night and it was actually quite moving. I still gotta wonder why they did it when the Heat played the Magic since it was clear they'd most likely lose the game (April 12th against the Knicks at the triple-A is just sitting there open). All in all, I still enjoyed it and I'm glad to see it happen. Its good to have a Heat player retired for the organization and not just Michael Jordan and Dan Marino lol.
Rick Ross - Usual Suspects (feat. Nas)
I actually got a chance to listen to this last night as I was trying to download as much shit as possible to hold me over until my internet in on at the new place. I couldn't turn down a chance to listen to a track featuring Nas. Enjoy.
The one thing 50 can never take away from the Delusional Rapper is that he can make a song. DR probably should've dropped this weeks ago to defuse a bit of the humiliation he was taking on. It would've been a crafty move too because 50 doesn't like Nas and if DR drops this track weeks ago, 50 most likely disses Nas, and that opens up the possibility of Nas Ethering 50 and therefore freeing up space for DR to move on with his career. Oh well, we already know DR is terrible at this beef shit so we shouldn't be surprised he never thought of it lol.

Andre 3000 Arrested??
If you ask me, that's DEFINITELY not an arrestable offense. Bill Simmons once wrote about this in one of his columns, but it never hurts to repeat it that driving 109 MPH in a car like a Porsche is like driving 60 in a regular car. You have to assess these things on an individual basis according to what type of car is being driven. Damn shame regardless.

Hello everyone! I decided to check in because I haven't posted anything since late Friday night. Well I'm in the process of moving so that's why I've been a bit tied up. I still have a ways to go though because there is just so much junk here and I hate throwing shit away.
Anyway, I'll probably be done moving everything by tomorrow, but here's the bad news: For some reason its gonna take AT&T a whole week to switch the service to the new place so I won't have internet until this time next week. T.I. Sentenced To A Year And A Day In Prison
Why is this news, didn't we already know he was only getting a year like months ago??
The big news to me in that after this sentencing, he still doesn't have to go to prison until May 19th at the earliest. Now, I'm not trying to rush dude off to prison, I like T.I., but why were we having all this farewell concerts and parties as early as February when he's still gonna be in the streets until the end of May or maybe early June at the latest??

Police Officer Delays Texans RB Moats As Mother-In-Law Dies
First off my homie Jason sent this to me earlier before it blew up all crazy, but I was headed to work at the time and never got the chance to post it.
Anyway, what an asshole! Not only did this guy delay them, but he actually drew his gun on a guy and his family OUTSIDE OF A HOSPITAL over a fuckin' red light. A red light! And its not like he ran the 1st red light after leaving his house, in which case the pig would've had reason to be skeptical about the story, but he ran the last one before the hospital. You can clearly see the entrance of the hospital from the dash cam video! Plus, If somebody runs a red light right outside of a hospital 9.9 times out of 10 its some kind of emergency.

Thursday Billboard Update - 3/26/09
With 90,000 sold, Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted remains at #1 this week. Everything else in the top 10 is pretty much a wash besides the Twilight soundtrack surging 251% to #3 and Gorilla Zoe's Don't Feed Da Animals selling 31,000 to debut at #8.
Flo Rida's Right Round remains #1 over here on the Hot 100 and everything else is also a wash except Carrie Underwood's Told You So which jumped into the top 10 this week with a 48 spot rise. Its kinda weird this song is the one cracking the top 10 though because Home Sweet Home debuted at #21 just last week.
Maino - All The Above (feat. T-Pain) Video
Pretty generic, but I still like Maino so its all good. Hope this works out for the nigga.

This Week In Flops 3/24/09
Jooones! Capo is back with his fourth album Pray IV Reign. I listened to some of it the other day and you can tell he's still one of the biggest Jay-Z fans out there right now lol. That's fine, he's not rollin' with Cam anymore anyway so I guess he can openly express his love for Hov now. Anyway, his terribly corny single Na Na Nana Na Na hasn't done numbers like I'm sure he was expecting when making that trash. That's a problem, but I think he has a strong enough presence out there right now to come in at at least #2 on the charts. For Jimmy I'm going with 85k-105k.
Mos Def - Words
This is a lil promo for Mos' new album The Ecstatic which is supposed to be dropping June 30th. I was just jammin' Umi Say and Ms. Fat Booty last week so hopefully he got some classics joints like that on there. I can't wait to find out!
