Bow Wow Retires

And for the news that had the young homie Tye distraught all day (LMAO!), Bow Wow makes New Jack City Pt. II his last album.


Generally when people retire they notify people of the decision beforehand, but seeing that Bow Wow has decided to do it just 4 days after his numbers were released, you gotta believe its because of how bad New Jack Citt Pt. II did (though he did make good points about how bad his first album did in its first week and how he's never had huge first week number). That's fine though, like he said at the end of the day he has done 7 albums and he's only 22 (I only wish Soulja Boy would follow his lead since he's barely sold over 100,000 copies of his latest "album").

Bow retiring isn't where I have a problem though, Bow talking about starting a new clothing line is where I have a problem. First off, didn't he already do this like 8 years ago?? It was called like Shad Moss Wear or some shit like that. What ever happened to that line?? Now he wants to start a whole new one?? He could just give me the money and let me finish school or something because he's gonna be throwing money in the trash with a new clothing line.

Especially if he's serious about it specializing in skater clothes. Maybe Bow hasn't realized it yet, but its no longer 2006, that skater/rockstar fad is over now. Its just bad business to try to capitalize off of trends that happened years ago lol. Besides, Bow Wow has NEVER been a trendsetter before so why does he think anybody would dress "like him" now?? He just rocks whatever is "hot" himself so its just like the blind leading the blind.

Now I'm not telling the young brotha how to spend his money, but he can do better than this. I say finish doing the shoes with Marbury and just get on your acting grind and ride life out. Who knows, maybe in a few years he'll come back like Jay-Z in '06 lol.
