Welp its the 2nd half and this hasn't gotten any better. In fact, its gotten worse. Waaaaaaaay worse lol. Its currently 44-3 and the Eagles are probably about to score again. We're getting whupped so bad I just can't find it in myself to get mad lol.
Side note: why is Romo still playing?? Why risk a serious injury for next season, this game was lost long ago. Oh, and watch the Eagles go up there to Minnesota and lose next weekend. That's just how these thing work but whatever. Oh yeah and can we cut Roy E. Williams and Pacman Jones during the game??

How could I be anything, but embarrassed right now?? I don't even know what's going on right now...hell obviously neither do the Cowboys lol. I can't do nothing but laugh because how bad we're playing is straight Comedy Central. The offense looks bad, the defense looks defenseless, and special teams has been anything but.
I'm not even mad at the Eagles. I mean I can't say I didn't see this coming when I saw the final score on the Raiders/Bucs game. Everything that could go wrong has for Dallas besides someone dying on the field. What were they doing all week?? They might as well had been playing Madden instead of practicing over the week. They actually might have looked better in the first half if they did play Madden though.

NFL Winners & Losers: Week 17
After my worst week picking games I slowed down and took my time with my picks this week because these games in Week 17 are the trickiest.
1) Cowboys (9-6) @ Eagles (8-6-1)
Do or die. Win and you're in. Are the Cowboys up to the challenge?? I don't know, but I sure as hell hope so. I saw on ESPN that Dallas hasn't won the last game of the regular season since 1999 and if that's true, I'm truly scared. The Boys are gonna have to be braver than me and put that kinda stuff behind them because they HAVE to win come Sunday. And even though people are saying if the Bucs win and eliminate the Eagles before this game at 4:15pm, they'll play unmotivated, I think the opposite would be more true. I think if they Bucs lose and the Eagles are still alive then they'll turn around and play worse. I mean just think about how they played against the Redskins last week after the Cowboys and Bucs had already lost and left the door open for them. Nothing on the line equals good Eagles, everything on the line equals bad Eagles and as a Cowboy fan I'm hoping to see bad Eagles. Cowboys winners, Eagles losers.

2) Dolphins (10-5) @ Jets (9-6)
Okay, the Dolphins schedule was filled with cream puffs, but at the same time the Jets played basically the same cupcake schedule and lost 6 games. Brett Favre is now playing like a man who recently realized he probably should've stayed retired. Add that on top of Chad Pennington getting the chance to stick it to his old team and I think we're looking at our AFC East champs. Dolphins winners, Jets losers.
Roy Williams Frustrated??
Oh goodness, here we go again, more media-made controversy. Of course when I got up this was the #1 story on ESPN because obviously they've just caught wind of Roy saying this. Where have these niggas been?? He's been saying this since back when Brad Johnson was under center, but now that the news cycle is slow they want to blow it out of proportions and try to make a story. The shit is sad man. You can't expect somebody to just come in while their QB is hurt and to be productive immediately when he comes back. It also doesn't help that Roy has been slowed by a foot injury. Give these guys some time to get on the same page, geez! Like Roy has been saying, "as long as we win I'm alright."

With 1,421,882 votes, Dwight Howard is leading all players in All-Star voting as of today. I'm surprised because LeBron James and Yao Ming are also still in the league lol. Thursday Billboard Update - 12/25/08
Damn, looks like I was wrong because not only did Jamie Foxx not debut at #1, but he didn't even come in 2nd, he came in 3rd! Remaining #1 is Taylor Swift's Fearless which pushed out 330,000 this past week. Following closely behind at #2 is Keyshia Cole's A Different Me bringing in 322,000 in its first week in stores. I low balled my boo big time last week, but I'm glad she didn't flop. I should've have underestimated the impact of being on tour at the same time your album is dropping. From the news-I-could've-gone-my-day-without-hearing file is the word that Tony Romo missed practice today because he's sick. C's 27-2 Start Best In NBA History; Extends Win Streak To 19
After tonight's easy 110-91 win over the 76ers, the Celtics become the first NBA team to ever start a season 27-2. Not even the '96 Bulls started off 27-2. Crazy!
And on top of being 27-2, the C's haven't lost since November 14th against the Nuggets. They are December-0 this month and will try to extend their streak to 20 against the Lakers on Christmas day (5pm, ABC). NFL Flexes 3 More Games
Thank goodness, my prayers have been answered! The NFL has decided to flex MIA @ NYJ, JAX @ BAL, and (mostly importantly) DAL @ PHI to 4:15pm this Sunday. All of these games have playoff implications and now that gives me time to get home and watch. I'm so happy, thanks NFL. Now all I need is for Tampa Bay to handle business against Oakland at 1pm to officially eliminate the Eagles and take all their hope away right before our game starts so my Cowboys can try to take advantage of it lol. Chargers, Broncos Get Sunday Night Flex Game
Before tonight's Giants/Panthers game, the NFL announced that the game that'll decide the AFC West crown will be next week's Sunday night game. It was obviously out of this game, DAL/PHI, or MIA/NYJ, but after both the Eagles and Jets lost their game's today, and basically eliminated themselves, the choice was easy. I'm fine with it, I'm just glad the Broncos opened the door for the Chargers so their fans can finally stop bitchin' about that Ed Hochuli call in Week 2. Now, I do want the NFL to flex my game to 4:15pm so I'll be able to see it since I work from 1-5 on Sundays. I mean damn, there's 13 freakin' 1pm games this coming Sunday lol. (Scratch that, I forgot that with the Panthers loss tonight it opens up the NFC South title for the Falcons if the Saints can beat the Panthers next Sunday. If the Saints handle their business, the Falcons automatically become the #2 seed with a win versus the Rams.) Honestly, I don't care if we get the 5th or 6th seed as long as we're in the damn tournament lol. Then again, if we got the 6th seed and beat either Minnesota or Chicago on wild card weekend, it would set up a shot for us to do what the Giants did to us last year since they'll have the #1 seed after beating Carolina tonight. Okay, I'm rambling lol. I can't help it, I'm excited about the new life we received today BUT none of it matters if we don't win Sunday.

So Far So Bad For My Cowboys
Welp its halftime and the scored is 9-7 Ravens. Man, Tony Romo isn't looking good at all! he's 8/17 right now for 59 yards and 2 INTs. That's a passer rating of 33.1! Terrible! And when he's struggling, our offense can't really find a rhythm.
Our defense is keeping us in the game, but that won't be the case for long if our offense can't keep them off the field. They've sacked Joe Flacco 5 times already and forced 2 fumbles, but the rookie is the one looking like the vet tonight as he's 11/15 for 112 yards and 0 picks. Romo is gonna have to play a lot better in the 2nd half if we're gonna be able to get the W because Tashard Choice is about the extent of our offensive production right now. Wish us luck.

1) Ravens (9-5) @ Cowboys (9-5)
The last regular season game at Texas Stadium! Wow, sad to see it go. Anyway, this game is freakin' huge for both clubs with the teams scrapping for a wild card spot. The Ravens are coming off a heartbreaker, almost as bad as the Cowboys' a week earlier, so Ray Lewis will have his team angry and ready to go Saturday night. That scares the shit out of me as a Cowboy fan, especially with Tony Romo already banged up from last week's game. I think this game will be decided by how good or bad Romo feels out there. They play the tape of Katt on the radio and I'm just like WTF (click here for the entire Foxxhole episode, the Katt stuff starts about 30 minutes in) lol. So anyway Steve Harvey called in and apparently there is gonna be like a stand-up battle royale thing in Detroit between Steve and Katt on New Year's Eve (I'm guessing some sort of constellation for the Lions completing their 0-16 season on the 28th lol). Man, I wish I could be there!
Both of these dudes are bad boys, but Katt better watch himself because, like Foxx was saying, you know he has the tendency to use old jokes (don't front, Katt toured off one set for about 2 years lol). Oh well, I guess we'll find out what happened January 1st, but right now I'm just disappointed I wasn't listening to Steve when Jamie was on!
Oh, and by the way, this was one of the most classic Foxxhole episodes ever so you might wanna just check out the whole thing. They were going HARD at Katt lol.
NBA On ESPN Tonight
Hey, if you're home tonight you might wanna check out the NBA on ESPN because they have 2 good ones tonight. First up at 8 is Kobe and the Lakers in South Florida to play D-Wade and the Heat followed by LeBron and the Cavs at 'Melo and the Nuggets. Four gold medal winning Team USA players going head up, should be some good stuff.

So far so good on this doubleheader as the Heat knock off the Lakers 89-87. It came down to a potential game-tying Kobe jumper that rimmed out at the buzzer. Wade also got that best of Kobe as he hit 35 to KB's 28, including a huge buzzer beating 3 off a near turnover to end the 3rd quarter. Great game. Welp its LeBron/Melo time, peace!

1) Snow In Las Vegas??
Ain't this about a bitch?! How did it snow is Vegas?? I mean it'd be straight if it was just a lil cool out down here, but it was hot as hell today. Snow in fuckin' Nevada and 80 degree weather in Florida is just fuckin' unfair. Then again, snow in Vegas might just be a sign that the end is near lol.

11th Win Puts Colts In
With tonight's win against Jacksonville, the Colts earn a playoff berth and are guaranteed the #5 seed in the playoffs with their 8th win in a row (yes, they were 3-4 once upon a time, remember?? lol). That means they'll probably play the Broncos (if the Broncos can beat the Bills and Chargers...you never know with them) on wild card weekend so you can pretty much book their ticket to the next round lol.
It was a pretty tight game tonight, but I knew the Colts would pull it off because Peyton Manning was on FIRE! He completed all 13 of his passes in the first half and got to 17 before throwing a single incompletion. Peyton finished an amazing 29/34 with 3 TDs for 364 yards which was good for a 140.7 passer rating. I think he's staring down his 3rd MVP trophy right now. AFC teams, beware come January.

Anyway, good job Psycho T. You realized you're just a great college player so you're making the most of it. I mean this is a great record, but great NBA players now-a-days don't do this kinda stuff. How many college scoring records do Kobe, LeBron, and KG have?? Oh yeah, zero, they went straight to the NBA. Not taking away anything from Hansbrough's mark, but it just goes to shows how college sports have changed.
