I haven't been that into the NBA this year with my favorite player traded from my favorite team and my 2nd favorite team currently on a 15 game losing streak and only 8-33 overall, BUT I'll never miss the All-Star game no matter what lol. Its bittersweet to see KG as the #1 vote-getter, but whatever here's the starting line-ups:
East
G Dwyane Wade
G Jason Kidd
C Dwight Howard
F LeBron James
F Kevin Garnett
West
G Kobe Bryant
G Allen Iverson
C Yao Ming
F Carmelo Anthony
F Tim Duncan
Visibly missing from the starting line-up is obviously Shaq in the middle. After 14 straight all-star appearances Shaq actually runs the risk of not making the team averaging only 14 points and 7 boards a game. The good news for him is that his biggest competition is Zack Randolph and I doubt the coaches are gonna vote in a New York Knick lol. On another note, poor Chris Bosh! Last year he was a starter and now this year he was going up against the 2 players who got the most votes overall (KG was#1, LeBron was #2). KG going East was good news for Carmelo though because that finally freed up one of the West forward starter spots for him. As usual Steve Nash doesn't get the start at guard, but that will only fuel all those white writers to give him more MVP votes at the end of the year lol.
Welp, here are this year's All-Star jerseys and as usual the West's shits on the East's:
