Thursday Billboard Update - 5/29/08

Finally, Hip-Hop has returned to the top 10! Okay, its just one album, but hey its a start lol. Anyway, Bun B's II Trill debuts at #2 this week with 98,000 sold.

Lil Wayne is still #1 and Leona Lewis is still #2, but the big story of this week starts at #3. New American Idol champ David Cook debuted a whooping 11 records this week and 6 of those records were top 50! That's unheard of as far as I'm concerned. Runner-up David Archuleta didn't debut 11, but he still had an incredible week as 3 of his records debut in the Hot 100.
