It went down this morning at 10am on ESPN2's First Take and I must say, Lil Wayne didn't do too bad. I mean he didn't fall down, ramble off random gibberish, use auto-tune on his voice, or pull out that dang guitar lol. He seemed sober and was able to keep up with the conversation (though Skip was playing soft ball with him) so I was proud. Hell, I'm just happy he didn't embarrass the entire Hip-Hop community on 1st & 10 like he does with his music. Two times for Sportafile.com for the videos!
See there, not too bad, right?? He was able to hold his own and showed knowledge of the topics. He stumbled and wasn't able to elaborate a few times, but that's actually not too surprising seeing he is busy in the studio fucking up everyone's records everyday. And he even looked decent with his peanut butter fleece (though I don't think he's gonna be about to bring Burberry back), braided dreads, and glasses. Go 'head then Wayne lol.
You know the real embarrassment today?? Skip "I too am on Lil Wayne's dick now" Bayless! Man, was he slurping Wayne or what?? I mean Tha Carter III was good, but Skip was making it seem like it was the Blueprint or something lol. He probably never even heard it before he knew he'd be debating Wayne. Skip usually goes hard, but he seemed a bit star struck today.
