Thursday Billboard Update - 1/8/09

Nothing new at the top in an usually slow sales week, but you know shit is bad when you don't even sell 100,000 and still remain #1 lol. At #1 Taylor Swift moved another 90,000 (-66%), at #2 Beyonce moved another 77,000 (-64%), at #3 Kanye West moved another 71,000 (-57%), at #7 Keyshia Cole moved another 54,000 (-58%), and at #8 Jamie Foxx moved another 45,000 (-57).

Unlike over on the albums chart, the Hot 100 singles sees a new #1. Knocking Off Beyonce's Single Ladies, after a few weeks at the top, is Lady GaGa with Just Dance. I've only heard this song once or twice, but now its your new #1. Awesome. Her album The Fame also made moves by jumping 32 spots 58-26. Anyway, the big 4 became the big 3 when Britney Spears' Circus fell out of the top 10, and now the big 3 becomes the big 1 as T.I.'s Whatever You Like and Beyonce's If I Were A Boy were ousted this week.
