Thursday Billboard Update - 4/17/08

Leona Lewis easily grabs up the #1 spot this week with 205,400 sold...yada, yada that doesn't really matter since we all know Mariah is gonna dominate everyone next week. The real story, as far as I'm concerned, is Ray-J down at the #7 spot. Damn Ray-J, 39,000?? You had a top 10 single (went as high as #3) and that's it?? To be fair though, he is on Koch (I didn't know that when I made my prediction last week) so its still all good in Ray-J land. Plus, the album was pretty bad so I shouldn't have expected much lol. And still no sign of what Elephant Man sold but I can tell u with confidence he didn't debut in the top 100 lol.

Leona Lewis is really holding shit down on these charts as she returns to her #1 spot on the Hot 100...but unfortunately will be knocked back off next week by Mariah...again lol. The faux best rapper alive's single Lollipop jumped 2 spots 4-2 and is this week's fastest growing track at radio. Jordin Sparks' No Air track with Chris Brown is the fastest growing digital track and flop flops with Madonna's 4 Minutes 7-3 and 3-7 respectively.
