Okay here's the deal, this is just a snippet of the interview which Tim Westwood will run in its entirety this Saturday at 9pm. Three topics were touched on in the snippet: 1) His first single 2) the Chris Brown/BET rumor and 3) The Game.
First off, Off That with Drake will NOT be the first single for Blueprint 3, a track called Run This Town will. The new first single will feature both Kanye West and Rihanna. No word on why he changed the single or if Off That will still be on the album (but I'm sure it will be). After they talk about the single, Jay goes right into a MEAN ass verse from the track! I'm just praying it sounds as good as Hov made it sound. Oh, and word on the streets is its dropping this Friday.
Next up Tim asked Jay about the rumor that he told BET that if they let Chris Brown perform at the BET Awards he and Beyonce wouldn't. Jay-Z finally diffuses the rumor and talks about the ridiculousness of it (which is why I never spoke on it).
And lastly Tim asks Jay about The Game. This is when it gets semi-explosive and Jay called Game a groupie. This will undoubtedly spark mass hysteria within Game's mind and he'll probably have another diss record out tomorrow (hopefully its better than the first one). Can't wait for the rest of this interview!
