The Michael Vick Divide

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where the most blatant "divide" in this whole Michael Vick thing lays, but yet and still ESPN thought it would be a good idea to have a sit down discussion about it in Atlanta, GA last night. That shit was hilarious! Man, black people really showed their ass and let them white people know how they felt about their boy lol. It was pretty funny to see some of the white people getting frustrated by the overwhelming support for Vick as they probably thought, in their heads, how much they really hate black people lol.

Anyway, the division is obviously racial (blacks for Vick, whites against him) for the most part, but after watching the special, I noticed it wasn't just a black/white thing and also a rich/poor thing. See, at the end they had a talent show style vote by crowd applause on whether the audience thought dog fighting should even be against the law. As the cameras scrolled, I noticed the more white-washed looking black people were clapping in agreement that it should be against the law (most of which sat by white who were also clapping) and the rest of the blacks...well you know. Anyway, the division is all racial, but is mostly.

Overall, I thought the show was fair and extremely entertaining which is what this is truly about from a media standpoint, right? Oh yeah and I'm not racist this is just the truth lol.
