STFU Award - Week of 9/2/07 - DJ Mormile

This week’s STFU Award goes to DJ Mormile! You probably don’t know him, but you definitely know the artist he’s in charge of seeing that he’s the Head of Urban A&R at Interscope Records and all. Anyway, I think he’s a pretty cool guy, but when he said this to AllHipHop.com he was practically BEGGING to receive the STFU Award. Here’s what he had to say about the day he first met Lil Darryl Soulja Boy:

From the day Mr. Collipark introduced me to Soulja Boy Tell’em, I knew we had someone and something special… most of the time these super reactive records are about one-hit wonders, but Soulja Boy is on the scene to stay.

Rrrriiiiight. Did this guy really just say Soulja Boy was here to stay??? WOW, he must be oblivious to how this whole ‘one-hit wonder’ thing goes lol. There is no chance, I repeat, NO CHANCE that this poor excuse for talent has a career in Hip-Hop…no I take that back, maybe he can be some famous singer’s back-up dancer and get her (or him lol) to “fall in love” with him a la K-Fed and whatever that dude’s name is that married J.Lo for a few months. Seriously, his record is terrible, and has "one-hit wonder" written all over it. All I'm saying is that its gonna be awfully hard for someone with LESS lyrical skill than Reh Dogg (click the name if you're not familiar with Mr. "Why Must I Cry") to make another hit record. Sorry DJ, but you KNOW you were wrong for this so please STFU!
