Thursday Billboard Update - 11/8/07

No Hip-Hop in the top 10 so what's the point of talking about it?? I'll save my breath for next week with Jay-Z, Cassidy, and Chris Brown.

The singles stay steady, for the most part, as numbers 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, and 10 don't change and there's no new top 10 entries. The only movement comes as Alicia Keys' No One and Soulja Boy's Crank That swamp the #3 and 4 spots and Kanye West's Good Life and Baby Bash's Cyclone do the same with #7 and 8.

The Billboard 200 1-10

1. Eagles - Long Road Out Of Eden
2. Britney Spears - Blackout
3. Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride
4. Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold
5. Josh Turner - Everything Is Fine
6. Robert Plant/Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
7. The Backstreet Boys - Unbreakable
8. Josh Groban - Noel
9. Andrea Bocelli - The Best Of Andrea Bocelli: Vivere
10. Rascal Flatts - Still Feels Good

What You Can't See:

  • Playaz Circle debuts at #27 with a lowly 26,100 sold proving once again that the "hottest MC" cannot help you sale records.
  • Baby Bash debuts at #30 with an even lowlier 25,8000 sold proving being the 79th person to use T-Pain on your hook also cannot help you sale records.
  • Project Pat's Walkin' Bank Roll debuts at #47 with 17,200 sold.

The Billboard 100 1-10

1. Chris Brown - Kiss Kiss (1-1)
2. Timbaland - Apologize (2-2)
3. Alicia Keys - No One (4-3)
4. Soulja Boy - Crank That (3-4)
5. Colbie Caillat - Bubbly (5-5)
6. Kanye West - Stronger (6-6)
7. Baby Bash - Cyclone (8-7)
8. Kanye West - Good Life (7-8)
9. Rihanna - Hate That I Love You (9-9)
10. Timbaland - The Way I Are (10-10)

What You Can't See:
  • DJ Khaled's I'm So Hood jumps 11 spots 30-19 this week.
  • Cassidy's finally breaksthrough the top 40 as My Drink N' My 2 Step jumps 44-35 this week.
  • Soulja Boy's Soulja Girl takes one step backwards 36-37 which is a bad sign for the one-hit wonder.
  • A Sean Kingston feature helps Natasha Bedingfield's Love Like This jump 25 spots 73-48.
  • Britney Spears has the hot spot debut single this week as Piece Of Me comes in at #65.
