Shawty Lo - Units In The City (Review)

Two weeks ago I was at work seriously considering adding a new column to the site called Weed Plate Of The Month and guess who was gonna be the recipient for Feb. 08?? Yeah I think Dey Know lol.

This has to be one of the top 3 most boring albums I've listened to in my entire life! This nigga's voice & tone don't change up at all on this shit so if you're listening to it you're probably thinking about going to sleep more so than what he's saying. Don't worry if you fall asleep though, coming from a person that listened to this mess twice, you're not missing much.

In the midst of all the wackness and boringness of this album there were actually 2 or 3 joints that can get bumped in the ride (Dey Know being one of them). He has a track called Dunn Dunn which is kinda jammin', but it was far from enough to save this project from certain devastation. Another track that has potential is Live My Life. The beat is cold, but it would've sounded thousands of times better if just about anyone else rapped on it.

Overall this album sucked so I hope Lo fans weren't expecting much. Then again I'm sure Dey Know.
