We have a photo finish at the top of the Billboard 200 this week between The Game's L.A.X. and Slipknot's All Hope Is Gone! And the winner is...Slipknot by a mere 1,134 units! The final numbers were All Hope Is Gone 239,516, L.A.X. 238,382. Oh well, at least he sold more than T.O.S. lol.
Now, I'd like to take this time to apologize to Solange for now knowing her album Sol-Angel And The Hadley St Dreams came out last week until my homie Tye brought it to my attention. She debuted in the top 10 at #9 with 46,000 sold.
T.I.'s ultra boring Whatever You Like remains atop the Hot 100 for its 2nd week after a historic jump on last week's chart. Everything is pretty calm inside the top 10 right now besides Pink's So What jumping 9-3, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl falling 4-10, and Jason Mraz' I'm Yours leaping into play 24-9.
The Billboard 200 1-10

2. The Game - L.A.X. (2)
3. Kid Rock - Rock N Roll Jesus (2-3)
4. Jonas Brothers - A Little Bit Longer (1-4)
5. Various Artists - Mamma Mia! sdtk (4-5)

9. Solange - Sol-Angel And The Hadley St Dreams (9)
10. Coldplay - Viva La Vida (11-10)
- V.I.C.'s debut album Beast came in at #73 with just 7,000 sold. Its safe to say this nigga's career is over lol.
1. T.I. - Whatever You Like (1-1)
2. Rihanna - Disturbia (2-2)
3. Pink - So What (9-3)
4. Chris Brown - Forever (3-4)
5. M.I.A. - Paper Planes (6-5)
6. Kardinal Offishall - Dangerous (5-6)
7. Coldplay - Viva La Vida (7-7)
8. Ne-Yo - Closer (8-8)
9. Jason Mraz - I'm Yours (24-9)
10. Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl (4-10)
- T-Wayne's Can't Believe It jumps another 9 spots (22-13) and looks prime for a top 10 spot within the next 2 weeks.
- Katy Perry's bid to not become a one-hit wonder just got that much stronger as her 2nd single Hot N Cold jumps another 27 spots 47-20.
- Ne-Yo's 2nd single Miss Independent skies an amazing 66 slots 98-32 this week. That's good news for him as I'm sure he is looking to having a better outting than he did with Closer. Closer is a top 10 single, but it probably isn't gonna go much higher than #8.
- This week's top debut is Ludacris' new single featuring Chris Brown and Sean Garrett called What Them Girls Like at #59.
- Not far behind that at #62 is T.I. with Swing Ya Rag.
