Have you ever listening to a album where the first few tracks are jammin' like a muthafucka and then the rest if straight dookie?? Well this is that album...well minus the "few" tracks because after the first song So Smooth there is a MAJOR fall off in quality lyrically.
If I had to pick one word to describe this Savage Life 2 it would be "rushed" because that's exactly what this shit sounded like. Most of this album just sounds like a bunch of second-hand Cash Money tracks from '99. A lot of the hooks garbage/corny (some were even off beat), most of the beats were average at best, and he only came with it lyrically on like 3-4 tracks. That's not gonna cut it. And to add insult to injury, Pimp C wasn't even on the song they had him listed as featuring on lol.
I actually like Webbie so I was rooting for him to make a good album and do well, but he fell short with this shit. I mean it wasn't all bad, but he needs to polish up his game come better next time. I know he has at least a 3.5/5 in him somewhere! lol.
