Thursday Billboard Update - 10/11/07

Bruce Springsteen only needed 327,591 first week to becomes #1. Rascal Flatts take a -71% hit in their 2nd week. And Soulja Boy (118,186), J. Holiday (102,853), Trey Songz (73,633), and Boyz N The Hood ( 15,7000) all flopped, in that order, as I predicted last Tuesday. Oh yeah an 50 still hasn't gone platinum!

On the singles side, not much as changed since last week. 1, 2, and 3 remain the same, Timbaland moved up and down at the same time, Fergie went down, Feist fell off, and Kanye and Alicia Keys both breakthrough the top 10.

  • Proving Disney still runs shit on Billboard, the first High School Musical shows a + in sells again this week and moves up 49-45.

U were wrong homeboy on J Holiday- he sold double what you sed he would sell! And 100,000 copies sold for a dude who's singin to chicks on the same day that candyass "Crank Dat" Boy comes out is respectable as hell in my book. Along with the fact that Holiday does hav atleast 2 more "Gud 1's" on his CD PLUSSSSSSSSS the fact that he actually duz hav atleast a little talent makes me hav to giv him props.
