NFL Winners & Losers: Week 6

Giants vs. Saints
I'm not gonna lie, this is gonna be a struggle to write without the Cowboys playing, which is why I couldn't be a real sports reporter/columnist lol. (Speaking of the Cowboys, did you know we had the #1 offense in the NFL?? Its true, we average 420.4 yards per game and rank #1! How crazy si that??)

1) Giants (5-0) @ Saints (4-0)
This game could really go either way. The big factor is gonna be Eli and his foot. Last week he was able to run up the score on the Raiders and get out of the game early. This week, he won't be that lucky. If he can't go and be effective for the entire game, I don't think the Giants stand a chance because this new and improved Saints' defense will feast on David Carr. I'm gonna go with my uncertainty about Eli's status and go with New Orleans. Saints winners, Giants losers.

2) Ravens (3-2) @ Vikings (5-0)
The Ravens allowed a 100-yard rusher for the first time in 40 games last week against the Bengals. That shouldn't count though because they were working against a higher power. As you know Mike Zimmers wife passed last week and there was no way the Bengals were gonna lose that game.

It'll be a different story against the Vikes. The Ravens are gonna imploy a similar game plan to what the 49ers used, but this time there will be no last seconds Favre heroics. Ravens winners, Vikings losers.

3) Bears (3-1) @ Falcons (3-1)
I don't believe in the Bears. Bottom line. Add that to the fact Atlanta will want to secure this win and start preparing to go to Dallas next week where the Cowboys have been preparing for them for 2 weeks. Falcons winners, Bears losers.

4) Texans (2-3) @ Bengals (4-1)
If I would've told you before the season the Cincinnati Bengals were gonna be leading the AFC North after 5 weeks you probably would've laughed in my face. Hell, I probably would've laughed in my face.

Well its true, and not only are the Bengals one fluke play away from being 5-0, but they are already 3-0 within their division.

The Texans, on the other hand, are somewhat of a Jenkell and Hyde team. One week they look great, the next they are getting spanked. Then again, the 2 teams they beat are a combined 0-10, so maybe they just are who were thought they were on some Denny Green shit??

Whatever, Bengals winners, Texans losers.

5) Broncos (5-0) @ Chargers (2-2)
You've heard the names Jim Zorn, Dick Jauron, and Wade Phillips when it comes to coaches that will possibly be replaced, but you never hear Norv Turner. You might start hearing it Monday night after the Chargers fall to 2-3 and the Broncos all but secure the lowly AFC West crown. Broncos winners, Chargers losers.

6) Cardinals (2-2) @ Seahawks (2-3)
The Seahawks look like a different team with Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback. As long as he's starting and finishing its gonna be hard to pick against them. Hopefully Owen Schmitt won't have to bust his head open to intimidate the Cards, but if he does, sobeit lol. Seahawks winners, Cardinals losers.

7) Titans (0-5) @ Patriots (3-2)
It'd be nice if the Titans could get their first win, but its just dumb to pick the Pats to lose 2 games straight. They haven't done so since November of 2006. I don't expect it to happen against the Titans. Pats winners, Titans losers.

8) Bills (1-4) @ Jets (3-2)
The 3 teams that fired their offensive coordinator right before the season (Chiefs, Buccaneers, and Bills) are a combined 1-14, and the 1 win came because 2 of the teams (Bucs and Bills) played each other. Long story short, there's no chance the Bills win this game. NO WAY!

Even if I believed the Bills offensive line would give Trent Edwards enough time to get anybody the ball, I still would take the Jets because you KNOW Rex Ryan is gonna have his defense super prepared after they got torched in the 4th quarter by the Dolphins Monday. Jets winners, Bills losers.

9) Lions (1-4) @ Packers (2-2)
Nice little divisional game, but beware of teams just coming off their bye week (Packers) and teams playing without their starting quarterback (Lions). Packers winners, Lions losers.

10) Browns (1-4) @ Steelers (3-2)
Fact: Derek Anderson is a better QB than Brady Quinn.
Fact: Derek Anderson completed 2 of 17 passes for 23 yards last week.
Fact: If Derek Anderson does that this Sunday, the Browns WILL lose by minium 3 touchdowns.

Steelers winners, Browns losers.

11) Eagles (3-1) @ Raiders (1-4)
You're kidding yourself if you think this will be a game. Eagles winners, Raiders losers.

12) Panthers (1-3) @ Buccaneers (0-5)
See #8 above. Panthers winners, Bucs losers.

13) Rams (0-5) @ Jaguars (2-3)
The fine folks in Jacksonville probably won't be able to see this game, but it'll be a good ol' fashioned beat down. The Rams are pathetic. Jaguars winners, Rams losers.

14) Chiefs (0-5) @ Redskins (2-3)
Every team the Redskins played this season has been winless at the time of their meeting. The Giants were 0-0, the Rams were 0-1, the Lions were 0-2, the Bucs were 0-3, the Panthers were 0-3, and now the Chiefs are 0-5. Even with that said, the Redskins have still only managed 2 wins.

I'd consider taking the Chiefs in this match-up, but they lost 2 starting offensive linemen last week against Dallas. The Redskins should at least be able to apply pressure. Redskins winners, Chiefs losers.

Last Week: 10-6 (.625)
Overall Record: 58-32 (.644)
This Week: 8-6 (.571)
