Alfamega's Open Letter To T.I.

Aight so there you have it. I was with Alfamega for about 97% of this letter, but when he basically threatened to put out diss records for T.I. if he didn't call him the message was lost. What is putting out diss records gonna prove?? T.I. is in jail so he can't make diss records back to you so its an unfair fight. Besides, a T.I. vs. Alfamega lyrically battle would end a lot like the T.I. vs. Lil Flip lyrical battle ended.

Again, all the rest of the letter was all good and I was with Mega all the way, but putting out threats is just dumb. No man is gonna even consider you request if you're gonna follow it up with a threating ultimatum. Just not a smart move.

But this all goes to show why you shouldn't be going all out of the way for the next man. Mega did that and ended up getting shitted on in the end.

Well I guess we'll being hearing more about this a week from now.

1) Jamie Foxx To Host 2009 BET Awards
This is GREAT news! I've been waiting for him to host another award show since he KILLED it on the MTV Awards a few years back. I actually thought he had become too big of a star to do this (especially for BET), but I'm glad to see he's still showing love. This is gonna be weird though because I'm sure he's nominated for some awards and on tap to perform. Oh well, who better to multi-task than Foxx??

Anyway, the BET Awards are gonna be popping off on SUNDAY June 28th. This should be interesting.

2) The Game Working On The R.E.D. Album
Surprise, surprise, The Game has decided not to retire after L.A.X. lol. Allegedly the name of the album has nothing to do with him being a blood or Jay-Z's Black Album, but rather a rededication to Hip-Hop. Right.

3) Alfamega Is Facing More Than 10 Years In Prison
Damn, shit just can't get no worse for this nigga.

4) 'Flavor Of Love' Girl Saaphyri Serving Prison Time
She's charged with failing to show up to court after being arrested for using a dead relative's identity to buy things like breast implants. Apparently she's in there doing 3 pieces! I wonder how Mo'Nique feels about this?? lol.

5) Willie D Arrest In iPhone Scam; Faces 20 Years
This one here is just sad because Willie D is a fuckin' legend! I hope this all gets resolved and homie doesn't have to do 20 hard ones in the joint.

T.I. Drops Alfamega From Grand Hustle

I've been wanting to rant on this shit for awhile now. Don't be alarmed, but I'm gonna go at this from by directions. First I'm go against T.I. and make an argument for why what he did was dumb, then I'll go with T.I. and tell why what he did was smart. Lets go!

Okay, T.I. is clearly a hypocrite. I understand that it was a government informant that got him in the situation he's in now, but at the same time Tip can't be above holding the "snitch" title himself. Lets not forget he received the same sentence Lil Kim and Martha Stewart got for perjury (a year and a day) for buying machine guns and silencers as a convicted felon. (Question of the day: When TheSmokingGun outs T.I. for being a snitch, which you know they will eventually, will he drop himself from Grand Hustle??) I'm just saying, T.I. shouldn't be so quick to disown this guy for doing the same thing he most likely just did himself. Not to mention that T.I. is supposed to be on his road to redemption and doing things the right way, but for some reason he's concerned with Mega possibly snitching on him? I don't get it.

Now, from the other side, T.I. had to do what was best for him business. The bottom line is this: Alfamega is a terrible rapper and he was NEVER gonna drop an album on Grand Hustle because they had no confidence in him as a solo artist. To me, with the swiftness of Tip's decision, I look at this as an excuse to drop some loose hanging fruit.

Well according to these documents found by TheSmokingGun.com, yes he was. It says he was a DEA informant and government witness back in the 90s in return for a reduced sentence. Sad. I wonder what T.I. thinks seeing that a informant is the reason he's going to prison in a few days (though I'm sure he did a bit of informing himself lol)??

On another note, TheSmokingGun.com is straight putting rappers out! Fuck gold diggers, these niggas need to try to stay out of TSG lol.
