Slaughterhouse!! Shhhhit!! This shit was straight fuckin' murder! I'm actually pissed off at myself for having this and waiting until today to listen to it. Never again! Man, I wanted to crack on Joey and Joell for going in with the paper right there for a minute but they killed it so hard that I just can't find it in my heart to criticize. Not to mention the really took in to the next level once they got off the paper. Oh, and I saw those lil slick jabs you through at Method Man Joe lol.
No, I'm lying, I do have one complaint: How is Joell gonna do that to Crooked?? That was sooo fucked up times 20! I mean its some thing to go in crazy with and leaving it to your man to follow it, but he left him with only like 2 minutes to spit. Well next time Slaughterhouse comes through Green better start the cypher a little earlier.
I did have one more complaint actually, and it was that Royce started spittin' and old verse from Bar Exam 2. Fortunately that complaint was immediately erased when he dropped Redemption today! Check it out:
Shots fired at Charles Hamilton! lol. Seriously though, more Ether from Royce! I'm glad he did this shit because nobody ever cares when they spit shit we already heard and I HATE that shit.
Question: Is Slaughterhouse the best thing to happen to Hip-Hop in the past 5 years?? I mean we haven't gotten straight Ether like this in a long ass time. Probably not, but they are DEFINITELY top 10 and most likely top 5.

Jimmy went back to the old super wack version of himself from like 03-04 lol. I mean that 2nd verse was just terrible and to add insult to injury he was off beat...as hell lol.

Gunz, Free. Free, Gunz. This whole shit was a fuckin' problem! Free definitely get points for going off the top for about half of the time he was spittin'. He also lost a couple points for doing pieces of 2 or 3 verses I've already heard though, but overall he murdered this shit.
Cory was rippin' shit too. He reminds me of a cross between 98' Eminem and '02 Sqad Up Lil Wayne. Just pure sickness. He stumbled a few times though and couldn't connect his 16s to make long verses, but overall he was murder too.
Question: What is that beat Green plays at about 10:20 in?? That shit is nasty! Speaking of nasty, you know the nastiest part of this whole thing?? That this is only part 1, there's actually more! Can't wait.

The Nigger Tape Covers
These are the 2 covers for that new Nas/Green Lantern mixtape I told you about last week. Then I told you it was gonna be called "The Nigga Mixtape", but as you can see from the artwork they dropped the "mix".
Anyway, the first joint from this mixtape is that Black President joint I dropped yesterday. As you can tell from what I wrote last week I wasn't expecting this shit anytime soon, but now I have hope...I'm talking Obama-esque hope. You know what I'm talkin' about lol.

Good news as far as Nas and the N-word goes: he and DJ Green Lantern are teaming up for [drum roll please] The Nigger Mixtape! Now, all of your Niggery dreams can come true to all you people who were mad he named his album Nigger and then mad he changed it to Nas. Congrats! lol.
Oh and no word on when this shit is supposed to hit the streets, but my guess is no time soon because Green still ain't even put out that Obama mixtape yet and the primary season is a week from being officially over lol.

I've always liked Cory, but the only problem I have with this is that he didn't really have an identity in it. I wonder if that shit at the end was that new track they were talking about. If so, that shit sounds dope! Damn, I gotta go research when the fuck that new Busta is dropping now. I hope he doesn't save it till Christmas and have to go up against 92 other niggas in that same month like so many labels like to do in a usually poor attempt to capitalize off of Jesus' birthday. Makes me sad for my daughter lol.
In other Green Lantern news, he produced a whole soundtrack for the new GTA IV that's dropping April 29th! Its the first time one person has produced all the tracks that'll play on one of the radio stations so this shit is big. But who cares if that nigga is on it or not that game is gonna be fuckin' incredible! I can't wait!!
Oh yeah and SMH at T-Pain actually trying to sing live knowing damn well he can't lol.

For some of you people who aren't that familiar with Hip-Hop, DJ Green Lantern used to be the official Shady Records DJ back in like 03-04 before joining Hov recently. Their relationship went sour when Jadakiss videotaped a conversation of theirs back when 50 was trying to beef with him and Fat Joe early '05. Now, I personally don't know why Green was mad, but Jada eventually apologized, Green moved on to DJ for Jay-Z, and now he and G-Unit have squashed any and all beef. Check out the vid:
