Free agency is under way as of last night at 12:00 AM, so lets catch up with the dealings so far.
1) Nooo!: Albert Hanesworth, Redskins Agree On 7-Yr/$100M deal
Fuck! I mean its not like I wanted Hanesworth to come to Dallas (I'm pretty happy with Jay Ratliff), but I sure as hell didn't want the man on a team we play 2 times a season! Dammit!
2) Cowboys Release Brad Johnson
This isn't really a #2 story, but I needed a quick pick-me-up after the #1 story lol.
3) DeAngelo Hall, Redskins Agree On $54M Deal
Not as bad news as #1, but it surely isn't good. I'm actually still kinda mad we didn't even make a serious run at him when he got cut by the Raiders considering all the injuries we had in our secondary.
4) Fred Taylor Agrees To Join Patriots
Man, and I used to like Fred too...now I can't because he's a Patriot and I HATE the Patriots. I hate them probably even more than any team in the NFC East lol.
5) Ravens Lose Bart Scott To Jets
Wow, I didn't see this coming. I thought if anybody was leaving it would be Ray Lewis since he's the elder. Welp I think this is gonna leave B-More with enough cash to re-sign Ray if he wants to return. I'd love to have Ray in Dallas, but I don't know how he'd like coming off the bench because Bradie James is staying in the starting line-up no matter what.
6) Dolphins Sign S Gibril Wilson
What??? He was available and the Cowboys didn't even try to make a run at him???? We need a new SS seeing that Roy Williams is probably on his way out, and even if he wasn't, I'm sure Gibril would still be a better alternative. Come on Jerry, its time to get active!
7) Texans trade Rosenfels to Vikings
The Vikings had to do something because that kid Jackson was nothing short of TERRIBLE in that wildcard loss to the Eagles.
8) Giants, Jacobs Agree On 4-Yr/$25M Extension
No surprise here, though I don't know how much football Jacobs is gonna have left in those bad knees. I say about 2 more good to decent years.
9) Bucs Release 5 Veterans
I know this happened the other day, but the Bucs have released basically everybody on their roster that we knew besides Tiki Barber's bother lol. Warrick Dunn, Derrick Brooks, Cato June, Joey Galloway, and Ike Hilliard were all shown the door.

Top 10 Cowboys That Should Be Shown The Door
If Jerry Jones is wondering who needs to stay and who needs to go he needs to check out my top 10.
10) Zach Thomas
He's still an all-time great and probable Hall of Famer, but he didn't really help us out at all.
9) Roy L. Williams
Yeah he only played in like 2 or 3 games this season, but even if he was there you know he would've been getting burned. We shouldn't have brought him back last year and definitely shouldn't next.
8) Anthony Henry
Henry is constantly getting beat in coverage and missing tackles so its time to part ways.
7) Roy E. Williams
Let the records show, I said this was a bad trade from the beginning. His poor route running in that loss in Philly proved that and also why Romo has been reluctant to look his direction. I still say we should've waited for T.J. who's gonna be a free agent.
6) Cory Procter
The only reason I left him out of the top 5 is because he is a back-up and was forced to play because of injury to Kyle Kosier and Montrae Holland. Anyway, he was terrible all season and we can't expect Romo to do anything when Procter is always getting beat.
5) Brian Stewart
Why is he even on the staff?? Wade is doing the defensive play calling during the game now anyway.
4) Flozell Adams
Its been nice, but its time for change. He's good for at least a false start per game and he wasn't getting killed by Trent Cole against the Eagles.
3) Brad Johnson
We have no use for him besides at holder and that's just not good enough. Plus, I could never forgive him for his terrible play while Romo was out.
2) Pacman Jones
This was an experiment gone bad. He hasn't done one thing positive for us on the field besides make the tackle after he's repeatedly beat in coverage. I feel bad because I actually wanted him to come to Dallas.
1) Jason Garrett
The play calling has been pretty bad all year and as T.O. has been saying for weeks, teams have figured us out and we need to give some different looks. Maybe it was just a sophomore jinx, but his play calling was questionable all season. Ex: Instead of pounding it up the middle with Choice on 3rd and inches, he calls a pass in the flat which turns into a 4 yard loss by Roy E. Williams. Unacceptable. When all we got was a field goal out of that drive I knew it was all downhill from there. Maybe he'd be better off as a head coach where he wouldn't have to call plays, but we need to get rid of Jason Garrett the offensive coordinator.
Here's my bonus top 10 of players we need to keep around.
10) Miles Austin
Miles has been great all season and is a much better kick returned than Pacman. He's another reason why I think the Roy Williams trade was a bad idea.
9) Leonard Davis
Leonard is the man. He's huge and takes up a lot of space so we definitely need to keep him on board.
8) Bradie James
Bradie should've made the Pro Bowl, but he doesn't have a name yet, but he still had one of the best seasons of any MLB in the league.
7) Terence Newman
Though he wasn't that impressive Sunday, T-New has been shutting niggas down since he came back from injury in Washington. We need that.
6) Marion Barber
I don't wanna make excuses (mainly because Tashard Choice filled in so great for the most part) but you can make an argument saying we got a lot worse once Marion got hurt. It probably wouldn't have matter against the Eagles, but imagine him in the 4th quarter in Pittsburgh.
5) Jay Ratliff
He's one of the best DTs this league has to offer and we're gonna need him to sculpt our defense around.
4) Terrell Owens
Its sad that some people are actually blaming the Eagles loss on T.O. (namely Cris Carter's long eye brow having ass). One receiver can't make a team lose by 38 points. Somebody tell Cris to call me when Terrell starts playing defense and special teams.
3) Jason Witten
Witten is a huge part of what we do offensively so it would be retarded to get rid of him no matter how good Bennett is.
2) DeMarcus Ware
Seriously, do I even need to elaborate??
1) Tony Romo
I battled with who should be #1, Tony or DeMarcus, but I ultimately landed on Romo because franchise QBs don't grow on trees. It took us about 6 or 7 seasons to find a replacement for Aikman and we don't need to go through that again. Lets not forget, this is just Romo's 2nd full season. It took Peyton Manning 96 starts before he won his first playoff game. Tony will be fine.

...Its Better Than 4-5
I'm not even mad that we lost today, I thought we'd be 4-5 after this game going into the bye so I'm good lol. A bit of that is because I picked the Giants (which makes me 8-4 on the week so far) and the rest is because after finally getting to see how bad Brad Johnson looked in real time, I just don't see how the Giants could've lost. Brad looked so incredibly bad it wasn't even funny. The coaching staff should've known this and went with Bollinger from the beginning. Now Bollinger wasn't great, but I'll take his 9/16, 63 yards, TD, and INT line over BAD Johnson's 5/11, 71 yards, and 2 INTs any day.
Oh well, we made it to the bye over .500 now we have the fight of our life coming up in these last 8 games. It'll be an up hill battle, but hell at least Bad Johnson won't be playing lol. If I were Jerry Jones I'd waive him tomorrow...but that's just me lol.

And We Have A Starter...
As John McCain would say, "that one" ^^ lol. No Brooks Bollinger against the Giants, just Brad Johnson. Great. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not mad because frankly, I don't think we have a chance no matter which one starts so actually I don't even care. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed regardless and hope for the best. Hopefully the defense shows up again this week and we get some turnovers and lucky bounces. Wish us luck!

Maybe he's trying to psyche the Bucs out, but today on T.O.'s radio show (everybody has a radio show now-a-days...gotta get me one lol) Tony Romo said he probably wasn't going to play Sunday when Tampa Bay visits Texas Stadium.
"I'll say it will be Brad [Johnson]," Romo said. "Brad is going to go this week, unless something different happens that we don't foresee. It will be very difficult to change."

Welp, so much for the confusion with the 2 Roy Williams because SS Roy Williams broke his forearm again today and is out for the season.
I wish somebody would break Brad Johnson's forearm and put him out for the season too after his shitty display today. He was so bad that he needed that TD inside the two-minute warning (aka garbage time) to get to a passer rating of 45.5. Imagine what it would've been if that didn't happen. Sad.

I feel sick...did my Dallas Cowboys just lose to the Rams 34-14??? And the thing about it is it would've been 34-7 if we didn't score another TD in garbage time. I must be dreaming, I'm feeling faint. Faint, like our playoff hopes are looking. I thought Pacman fucked us, but nobody fucked us like old ass Brad Johnson today. I mean, I thought he would come in and stablize us and get us playing under control, but we looked like chickens with our heads cut off out there. I don't even know how I made it through work while Brad Johnson was fucking my teams chances in the ass.
Let me shift some blame now to Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones. Its clear Jerry wanted Romo to play and start, but once he saw how bad things were going why didn't he go down to the field and make Wade put Romo in?? Hell, why does Wade even need Jerry to tell him this Brad Johnson shit isn't working?? He should've realized that in the first half and made the change after the 3rd or 4th ineffective series. Either that, or at halftime.
I would spread some of the blame on our defense which allowed the fuckin' Rams to score 34, but I already knew it would be an up hill battle for them with all the injuries. Plus, it doesn't help when you're on the field for most of the game because your offense can't get it going.
This all makes that trade for Roy E. Williams look even more dumb. I'm just totally out of it right now. I need to go home and lay down. Thanks Brad Johnson and the Cowboys for ruining my Sunday. Now, I'll just have to pray the Browns can beat the Redskins to have any reason to live lol. I'm out, peace.

What in the blue fuck is Brad Johnson doing out there?? I'm not even watching the game and I know he's playing terrible and we're fuckin' losing 21-7 to the damn Rams! Wade, what are you waiting for, put Romo in! I was against playing Romo this week, but after Brad's start I'm willing to risk it. There is no excuse to have 2 fumbles & an INT in the first quarter against the Rams! I'm beyond pissed right now.
Romo Will Be Active, But Won't Start
Okay, it seems to be final, Jerry Jones says Romo will be active, but won't start. I'm assuming that means the first mistake Brad Johnson makes Romo is in lol.
I hope all goes well, but I'm admittedly nervous about this game even though its just the Rams. Its not even the fact that they beat the Redskins last week, its just I don't know how we're gonna perform. Plus, it doesn't help its a 1pm start so I won't see any of the game since I don't get off until 5. I got my fingers crossed so wish us luck.

Romo To Play Sunday??
My fuckin' house charger broke so I'm in the car charging up before the debate starts when I decide to go to ESPN.com and see the headline "Source: Romo tells coaches he'll play with injury." Apparently during that phone conversation with Brett Favre the other day the future Hall of Famer spent time convincing Tony that he should try and play with the broken pinky. Gee, thanks Brett.
I don't even know if I like the idea of Tony playing with this injury because what if he gets hit and hurts it even worse?? Plus, how effective can he be with it?? I could see if it was on his left hand, but this is his right hand aka his throwing hand. I know he's eager to try out his new toy in Roy E. Williams, but this shit is a bit risky to me.
I don't know, maybe we should just let Brad Johnson go this Sunday and at least give Romo another week to heal up and try to come back for the Tampa game. I mean, its not like we're really gonna need him to take care of the Rams this week (if we do we're really fucked). Welp, I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but just thought I'd let you guys know.
