Raiders Trading 2 First-Round Pick... For Carson Palmer?!?!!

Wait a good gotdamn fucking minute here, All the Broncos could get for Brandon Lloyd was a 6th-round pick, and the Bengals were able to rob the Raiders of 2 first-rounders for Carson fucking Palmer? Andy Dalton is already better than Palmer (through 6 weeks he's already won as many games as Palmer did all last season), yet you give up not 1, but 2 first-round picks for him? Somebody tell me how that makes any sense. I mean, last time I checked, Jason Campbell broke his collarbone, he didn't die. He would be back eventually

And why even have Kyle Boller on your roster or draft Terrelle Pryor if the thought of one of them starting would make you fork over that much for a QB that hasn't been good in over half a decade? I guess Al Davis doesn't have to be alive for Oakland to make awful trades. Maybe they did this to honor Al in some fucked up way or as one last hooray? Who knows, I just can't make a bit of sense out of this.

Carson Palmer Wants Out Of Cincy

ATLANTA - OCTOBER 24: Quarterback Carson Palmer #9 of the Cincinnati Bengals against the Atlanta Falcons at Georgia Dome on October 24, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Lost in all the real football action and news today, Carson Palmer (of all people) gave the Cincinnati Bengals an ultimatum: "trade me or I'll retire."

Since the Bengals can't say it, allow me to do the honors: Who the fuck does Carson Palmer think he is? Also, who the fuck does he think will trade for him? Last time I checked NFL teams couldn't accept trade offers from the UFL.

If anything, the Bengals are probably pushing for Palmer to retire. He's under contract through 2014, so he could actually be doing them a favor. Besides, they have the 4th pick in the draft, they could draft a new QB. Hell, they could take Derek Anderson off Arizona's hands and get the same level of production if they wanted to. Either way, good luck with this Carson.

Random News Shit: NFL Edition

1) Brandon Marshall Asks For Trade
You already know the first thing I thought when I heard this new breaking on SportsCenter "Bring him to Dallas!" Yeah, I know it would never happen, but I like to hold out hope that my 'Boys would send Roy Williams and some other pieces to the Broncos for Marshall. I know he's a woman-beater, but dude can flat out ball!

On another note, what's really going on in Denver?? First the star QB wants out, and now the star WR?? Marshall is blaming it on lack of trust in the medical staff, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't like the new coach much either. Must be tough being a Broncos fan these days.

2) Plaxico's Case Adjourned Until Sept. 23rd
They say this case probably won't go to trial for another year or two so my question is do you want Plax on your team??

3) Donte Stallworth To Take Plea Deal; Serve Time
I never really talked about this whole Stallworth thing, but I'm glad to see its over. He also came to some kinda deal with the family and they're getting paid!

4) Ocho Cinco Plans To Move In With QB Palmer & Family In July
LMAO!! That boy Chad is too much! lol. As a lot of you may or may not know, HBO's Hard Knocks will follow the Bengals this season and I guess Ocho Cinco living with Carson Palmer and his family to "make up for lost time" will be a part of the show. This should be good! Now the only question that looms is, do Carson and his family actually want some nigga from Miami with gold teeth living with them?? I think not lol.

5) Ellis Signs 3-Year Deal With Raiders
R.I.P. to Greg Ellis' career. You'll be missed.
