Serena, Venus, & Wozniacki Ousted

Well damn, Wimbledon just got a MAJOR shake-up at the start of the 4th round this morning. First Serena Williams got put out, then Venus, and now #1 seed Caroline Wozniacki as well. Now the field is wide open, the smart money would be on Maria Sharapova, who advanced today in straight sets, to win it all. It'd be her 3rd major win if she holds on, if not we have a field of would-be first time winner left. Damn.

There was a bet going on Streak For The Cash about how many total games would be played in Venus' match with Vera Dushevina. Your 2 options were as follows: 15 games or fewer OR 16 games or more. Thirty-four games were played.

I wanted her to go over 16, but damn! It was cool at first because I was winning, but then my girl V was really in danger of losing. It was crazy! BUT she did survive though I'm not sure how much further she can go with that bad knee.

Serena Beats Venus, Wins 3rd Wimbledon Title

Dammit! Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Serena but I put my Streak on the line for Venus. Serena beat out her sister in a 7-6, 6-2, anything but epic match. It was over before I even woke up lol. I didn't subscribe to the theory that they decide the winner of theses matches before they happened, but now I'm starting to wonder because Venus dominated her way through the field and even took out the top seed in straight sets, but couldn't beat her sister.

Oh well, time to look for something new to bet on.

Venus & Serena To Meet In Wimbledon Final

Welp, looks like I finally have something to do for the 4th of July, watch the Williams sisters face off in the Wimbledon final! I can tell this will be better than what I did last year (I was so bored I watched the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest! See, I even wrote about it lol).

Anyway, Venus and Serena are 10-10 all-time verses each other so this should be a good one (as long as they don't decide who's gonna win before the match starts lol). Judging by the way Venus completely dominated and demoralized Dinara Safina in just 51 minutes, I'd put my money on her. Serena has been nice too, but Venus has dominated her way through the field. I'm rocking with Venus.

Williams Sisters To Face Off In Wimbeldon Final

Yeah nigga! After whuppin' some more foreign ass today the girls are set to face off in the finals for the first time since '03! Even though I hate to see them battle each other I rather see them than anybody else. They're like Tiger Woods because black people only watch when they're playing lol.

You know what kills me though?? When those dumbass analysts make a big deal and act surprised when at least one of them makes it to a major championship final. These girls have been doing their thing for years, shouldn't it be expected for them to turn it on and off whenever then feel?? Oh well, one day they'll learn but it'll probably be too late.
