This Week In Flops 7/6/10
Now, with that being said, don't expect any crazy OutKast numbers from Big Boi's solo debut. I love Big, but I'm afraid other people only love Big when he's alongside Andre 3000. I think that's partially to blame for the lack of buzz and interest in his singles so far. Now you might say "on Speakerboxxx/The Love Below Big was essentially alone" and that is true, but The Way You Move was always accompanied by Hey Ya, and vice verse. In fact, they spent weeks and weeks trading #1 and #2 on the Hot 100 back in 2004 (yes I used to follow the Billboard charts waaaay before FiyahMuZik.com came about).
The point is this: don't expect anything over 200,000. I'm gonna go with 100-135k, but I have a terrible feeling it may be less. Fingers crossed for Big!

From certain angles Juvenile looks like Mike Epps with that goatee, don't he?? Anyway, you know that "I keep the semi with me, just call me Prince Akeem" line?? I'm shocked it took someone this long to use that shit. My homeboy Ced came up with that shit years ago. (This really has nothing to do with anything, I just wanted to write it somewhere, and what better place than your own website?? Exactly!)

As you can read in the link, Juvenile is said he doesn't really know what's going on with the project so we can go ahead and file this under the list of Cash Money albums that will never be made or released. Is Turk even out of jail though?? You can't have the Hot Boys without all 4 members and I think there is a good chance he's still locked up. Welp, I guess we shall see.
On another note, I got some new Juvenile stuff to post so I'm gonna try to get that up before football starts tonight.
2) Tiny & Toya Set Viewing Records For BET
Before all you ghetto birds jump in rejoice, remember the headline says "viewing record for BET."
Anyway, "Tiny & Toya" had 3 million viewers on its debut and average 1.8 million for the 8-episode season. Not bad, not bad. I have nothing mean to say about the ladies but needless to say I didn't watch the show.

Juvenile First Video Soulja Rag!
The first time I heard this song was as the last track on the original version of 400 Degreez (not the one with the Ha remixes) and I never knew this video existed. After buying that original 400 Degreez, I learned he had an previous album called Solja Story (there was an ad for it in the insert if my memory serves me correct), but I still assumed Ha was the first video. Oh well, I was wrong, check it out...and you might wanna turn ya speakers up a taste for this lol.
If you listened to the record it really embodies a Cash Money staple which was saying lines and then using them as hooks on different records lol. This one featured the hooks for Ha and March Nigga Step. Those Cash Money niggas were resourceful lol.

If this is true, I don't know if I really care. I mean back in '99 I was happy to see anything the group did, but its 2007 and after a very public falling out it just makes no sense to me. Personally, I just can't see it, but who knows maybe, I guess we have to just wait and see.
