Fat Joe - Pride N Joy (feat. Kanye West, Miguel, Jadakiss, Mos Def, DJ Khaled, Roscoe Dash & Busta Rhymes)
"What happened to the Jadakiss, Mos Def and Busta Rhymes verses?" I'm sure that's what you're asking, and really I don't know. If you're also wonder why it says they're featured on the song, it's because they are. Jada, Mos, and Busta, along with DJ Khaled, are the collage of voices you hear on the chant part, while that's Miguel and Roscoe Dash you hear on the shitty hook. A bit much, right? Right.
On another note, are we trying to bring back auto-tune already? Really? Rappers, please let that shit remain dead. Please.

Less Fat Joe
This is great, I'm really happy for Joe on his weight loss. I think I'm most happy that he didn't have any surgery or go on any weird diet, he just ate right and exercised. That's what it's all about right, not diet books and informercial exercise devices. Go Joe!

50 Cent Loves Fat Joe
Damn Fif, you still kicking Fat Joe's dead body?? Nigga been done since like '08 and you still at it. I thought you gave beef up with how quiet you were when that Ross album came out and all. Oh well, this shit made me laugh anyway lol. SoundScan wasn't officially out when this video was made, but 5,000 sold doesn't sound too far-fetched.

This Week In Flops 7/27/10
Let's get a consensus going, Fat Joe has fallen completely off, right?? Oh ok, just making sure. I have this album, but haven't heard any it yet, and I'm assuming not many will. I'm guessing just 15-35k for the Fat man.
This is Tech N9ne's 11th studio album, can you believe that?? I can't, and that's probably because I still have heard any of them. Oh well, Tech still has a fanbase and does very well for an independent artist, so I'm guessing he lands in the 10-25 range.
Hands up if you knew this album was coming out?? Stop lying, I didn't even know it was coming until I saw it leaked over the weekend lol. What the fuck Dru Hill, y'all didn't want to wait and try to build any buzz for this shit?? I mean, what is the single?? Has anybody heard it?? Hell, does anybody know what it was even called?? This album promises to be more of a fail than Nokio's hair (hey Nokio, being suspect is Sisqo's shtick, not yours), so I'm guessing 3-15k.
I didn't even know there were enough Slum Village members alive to make this album happen. I'm not sure this album will chart, so I'm thinking 1-6k.

Thursday Billboard Update - 10/15/09
After Jay Sean's Down upset the Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling for the #1 spot last week, Britney Spears' 3 knocks them both out and opens in the pole position this week. G shit!
The Billboard 200 1-10

2. Kiss - Sonic Boom (2)

9. Backstreet Boys - This Is Us (9)
10. Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony (4-10)
- Fat Joe's J.O.S.E. 2 barely made a mark on the charts coming in at #73 with just 8,300 sold. Sad. Just sad. Expect to hear from 50 on this matter.
- Speaking of beefs, Jim Jones and DJ Webstar tried to pick a fight with Jay-Z over D.O.A. this summer and this fall their joint album The Rooftop failed to chart on the Billboard 200! The last album on the 200 sold 2,600 and The Rooftop sold less than that! Shit! I heard of flopping, but not even charting?? That's some Khia shit lol.

50 Cent Rushed To The Hospital
Blah blah blah, you probably already saw these videos, but I had to document them on the website since I took an unofficial day off yesterday.
This nigga 50 man, dude is CRAZY! I love it though lol. Not sure why he's still concerning himself with Fat Joe, but the shit is still mad funny.
But wait, there's more!
LMAO! The first video was funny, but this shit is HILARIOUS! I thought I remembered hearing something about Young Buck falling off something over the weekend, but I forgot to look into it. This diss was quite strong because he was able to tap Joe (his music), Buck (falling off the bike), and Game (crying and saying he loves Hip-Hop a la Game in 2008).
Just in case you were wondering, J.O.S.E. 2 drops this Tuesday October 6th.

Fat Joe - Aloha (feat. Pleasure P & Rico Love)
Wow, I never heard a song that sounded like this before! How do they keep doing it??
Oh, and who told Ashy Larry he should start rapping??
September 03, 2009
Fat Joe - Hey Joe Video
Damn, I was JUST wondering what happened to J.O.S.E. 2 the other day too. I like the song but I think I'm gonna hate on it because he used my "bullets like easy pass, they run right through ya" line that a wrote in like 2004 when I still used to spit. Of course I know Joe didn't bite it from me, but I kinda like to think he did anyway. Makes me feel more important lol.

New Lil Wayne & Fat Joe Albums Get Pushed Back
Question: Is anyone checking for Rebirth?? I know I'm not (to the surprise of no one lol), but is anybody?? I mean I completely forgot about the damn thing and Prom Queen has vanish from the face of the Earth.

Rick Ross - Mafia Music (Remix) (feat. The Game, Fat Joe & Ja Rule)
Finally, a diss of substance from Ross! ...And only 2 months late lol. I like this track, but it doesn't change the fact that he lost this "battle" big time. Besides, this track wasn't handled right anyway. For starters, Buck and Cam'ron ain't even on it. If you're gonna do something like you gotta follow all the way through. Then Game didn't even diss 50, he just spit a verse. Ja Rule ripped his verse, but him dissing 50 at this point in what's left of his career is just comical (no literally it is, I actually started laughing during his verse lol). Now, Fat Joe and Ross did their thing, but at the end of the day this just isn't enough and its waaaaay too late for soft jabs like this.
As a diss record this was aight, but as a album cut I think this shit is murderous.

Fat Joe - One (feat. Akon) Video
Pretty standard video. Anyway, Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 (J.O.S.E. 2) is now due May 19th so look out for that.

VH1's 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs 41-60
Wow! After Tuesday's pretty decent list, VH1 reverted right back to the questionable picks that plagued the first 20 on Monday. I'm not even gonna say anything yet, take a look at this list and if you can't tell which songs stick out like a sour thumb then you're crazy!
60. LL Cool J - I Need Love
59. Ol' Dirty Bastard - Shimmy Shimmy Ya
58. Ludacris Feat. Shawnna - What's Your Fantasy
57. Big Daddy Kane - I Get The Job Done
56. Busta Rhymes - Woo Ha!
55. Terror Squad - Lean Back
54. MC Lyte - Cha Cha Cha
53. The Lox Feat. Lil Kim & DMX - Money, Power, & Respect
52. Foxy Brown Feat. Jay-Z - I'll Be
51. Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick - The Show
50. Lil Wayne - Tha Block Is Hot
49. Boogie Down Productions - My Philosphy
48. Nas - One Love
47. Young MC - Bust A Move
46. De La Soul - Me, Myself, & I
45. Geto Boys - Mind Playing Tricks
44. Method Man Feat. Mary J. Blige - I'll Be There For You
43. The Game Feat. 50 Cent - Hate It Or Love It
42. Roxanne Shante - Roxanne's Revenge
41. Funky 4 + 1 - That's The Joint
Tha Block Is Hot is over The Show??? These niggas CAN'T be serious! Before we even get into why its bullshit to have Tha Block Is Hot this high, lets tackle why the hell is The Show is in the 50s! Seriously, the 50s??? One of the most classic Hip-Hop songs of all-time is in the freakin' 50s! There's NO reason why this shouldn't have been in the top 20 at least. Now back to Tha Block Is Hot, why is this #50?? Make 'Em Say Ugh is #94, but Tha Block Is Hot is #50?? Tha Block Is Hot wasn't even that big of a hit record back in '99! But now its the 50th greatest Hip-Hop songs?? Please! This Lil Wayne dick riding shit is getting out of control! I have no problem with the song being on the list because I know I loved it back in middle school, but come the fuck on, #50??
The other issue I had with this 20 was Hate It Or Love It all the way up at #43! Forty-fuckin'-three! Who else believe that is the 43rd greatest Hip-Hop song of all-time?? I know I probably couldn't find one person...hell, The Game probably doesn't believe that lol. This was a big record, but it wasn't THAT big. These niggas are insane! Again, I don't have a problem with this being on the list, but definitely not at 43. Maybe 90-somethin', along with Tha Block Is Hot, just not 43.
Sorry, I had to vent a little bit, but I'll be back with the next 20 sometime later depending on what time the debate wraps up.

The Game Feat. Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Young Buck, Pusha T, Bun-B, & Queen Latifah - Game's Pain (Remix)
Somebody slap me because I thought this was a blend when I first saw it so I never posted it lol. Aight well sorry but yeah this joint is crazy, check it out:
The Game Feat. Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Young Buck, Pusha T, Bun-B, & Queen Latifah - Game's Pain (Remix)
Game always comes through on these remixes! Everybody ripped it, this was great! Hip-Hop stand up!!!
June 30, 2008
Old New Music Pt. 2!
DJ Pharris Feat. R. Kelly, Fat. Joe, & Fabolous
Like that Gillie track in Pt. 1, this sounds really '01 BUT Fab rips it so its all good, I'm feelin' it. Oh yeah, who is DJ Pharris??
Gym Class Heroes Feat. The-Dream - Cookie Jar
You know I actually wondered how that nigga Tyga became so lame seeing his brother is a rockstar, but at that point I had really never listened to a Gym Class Heroes song. Now, that I have I completely understand where he got his lameness from because this record is corny x8. I mean more power to them if this shit blows, but it won't be off the strength of me bumpin' it lol.
Lupe Fiasco - Me & My Sneakers
Kanye West - The Stalker Song (Unreleased)
If I'm not mistaken (I very well might be) I think Kanye used a portion of this beat in Consequence's The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. Not saying that's a good or bad thing, just pointing it out.
Kanye West - Jigga My Nigga Freestyle
I used to have a bunch of these old Kanye freestyles from like '03, but I don't think I ever heard this one so I just assumed you hadn't either so here it is lol.
June 22, 2008
Forgive Me
Been meaning to post all this, just couldn't find the time so forgive me for the lateness.
Missy Elliott - Best Best
Fat Joe Feat. Lil Wayne & The Game - Ain't Sayin' Nothin' (Remix)
Jae Millz - That Cash
I KNOW Millz can do better than this.
Hotstylz Feat. Yung Joc & R. Kelly - Lookin' Boy (Remix)
Nas Feat. DJ Khaled - I'm On
Mariah Carey Feat. Akon & Lil Wayne - Bye Bye (Remix)
Didn't they already remix this??
Mariah Carey Feat. T.I. - I'll Be Loving U Long Time
This title alone is hilarious lol.
G-Unit - Kitty Kat
Why do they keep leaking these mediocre ass songs??? Shit like this makes me NOT wanna buy the album lol.
