Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (which I finally found out was a new album and not a re-release) debuts at #1 with 253,000 sold. I thought she would sell more, but oh well. Madonna's MDNA, which sold 359,400 copies last week, falls to #8 with 48,000 sold, down 86.7%. That's the greatest 2nd-week sales decline for a #1 album since SoundScan began tracking sells in 1991. Debuting at #9 is Marvin Sapp's I Win with 37,000 sold.

Fun.'s We Are Young featuring Janelle Monae remains at #1 for a 6th week.

Thursday Billboard Update - 8/5/10

After fending off Rick Ross's Teflone Don last week, I thought Eminem's Recovery would be a lock for a 6th week at #1. But no. Recovery still moves an impressive 158,658, but Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare moved 162,505 to takeover at #1. Em could very well return to #1 next week if it keeps up its steady pace, so this is just a bump in the road for Marshall.

Not much has changed from last week, Eminem's Love The Way You Lie featuring Rihanna remains #1. Katy Perry's Teenage Dream (20-7) and Usher's DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love (12-9) cross into the top 10.

This Week In Flops 7/27/10

Fresh off being blessed with the title of Industry Prognosticator by Billboard.com, your boy Fiyah is back to do some prognosticating. Lets go!

Let's get a consensus going, Fat Joe has fallen completely off, right?? Oh ok, just making sure. I have this album, but haven't heard any it yet, and I'm assuming not many will. I'm guessing just 15-35k for the Fat man.

This is Tech N9ne's 11th studio album, can you believe that?? I can't, and that's probably because I still have heard any of them. Oh well, Tech still has a fanbase and does very well for an independent artist, so I'm guessing he lands in the 10-25 range.

Hands up if you knew this album was coming out?? Stop lying, I didn't even know it was coming until I saw it leaked over the weekend lol. What the fuck Dru Hill, y'all didn't want to wait and try to build any buzz for this shit?? I mean, what is the single?? Has anybody heard it?? Hell, does anybody know what it was even called?? This album promises to be more of a fail than Nokio's hair (hey Nokio, being suspect is Sisqo's shtick, not yours), so I'm guessing 3-15k.

I didn't even know there were enough Slum Village members alive to make this album happen. I'm not sure this album will chart, so I'm thinking 1-6k.

Finally, a diss of substance from Ross! ...And only 2 months late lol. I like this track, but it doesn't change the fact that he lost this "battle" big time. Besides, this track wasn't handled right anyway. For starters, Buck and Cam'ron ain't even on it. If you're gonna do something like you gotta follow all the way through. Then Game didn't even diss 50, he just spit a verse. Ja Rule ripped his verse, but him dissing 50 at this point in what's left of his career is just comical (no literally it is, I actually started laughing during his verse lol). Now, Fat Joe and Ross did their thing, but at the end of the day this just isn't enough and its waaaaay too late for soft jabs like this.

As a diss record this was aight, but as a album cut I think this shit is murderous.

Now back to Tha Block Is Hot, why is this #50?? Make 'Em Say Ugh is #94, but Tha Block Is Hot is #50?? Tha Block Is Hot wasn't even that big of a hit record back in '99! But now its the 50th greatest Hip-Hop songs?? Please! This Lil Wayne dick riding shit is getting out of control! I have no problem with the song being on the list because I know I loved it back in middle school, but come the fuck on, #50??

The other issue I had with this 20 was Hate It Or Love It all the way up at #43! Forty-fuckin'-three! Who else believe that is the 43rd greatest Hip-Hop song of all-time?? I know I probably couldn't find one person...hell, The Game probably doesn't believe that lol. This was a big record, but it wasn't THAT big. These niggas are insane!
