I guess he couldn't handle the news that KG was probably gonna miss the playoffs lol. I'm joking of course, this is no laughing matter even though he is seemingly alright. I'm not a huge Ainge supporter, but I wouldn't wish a heart attack on anyone... even Tom Brady lol.

Danny Ainge Had A Heart Attack!
Rivers: KG Could Miss Entire Postseason
Did you hear that?? That was the Cavs screaming for joy as the news that there's a "strong" possibility that Kevin Garnett misses the 2009 playoffs came across the wire. Check out what coach Doc Rivers had to says to WEEI-AM this morning:"He's not going to be ready. After watching him practice, there's no way... The way I saw him move today, I don't know if he'll be ready... If he can't get through biking and working out without swelling and his leg locking, I don't know how you can play in the playoffs... This was an honest run today, you couldn't make your way through it. The guy's a warrior, you see him try to mask his way through it. But after 20 minutes of running, I don't see it. After today, there's no way he can play."
Sad, sad stuff. This totally changes the whole dynamic of the playoffs in the East! Watch out for the Bulls in the first round, D. Rose and the boys won't be a push over in the first round. We might see another series like we did in the first round last year against Atlanta. Boston fans should be terrified!
Now that this news has hit, can we skip the playoffs and just fast forward to the Lakers/Cavs NBA Finals?? We all know its gonna be Kobe vs. LeBron so why wait??

Random News Shit: Night In The Association
1) Marbury Makes His Celtics Debut
^^That is the happy man in the world right now lol. Tonight Stephon Marbury made his debut with the C's in a 104-99 win over the Pacers in Boston. Steph came off the bench and turned in 8 points on 4-6 in 13 minutes of use. He also added in a rebound, 2 assists, and a steal. Not bad, if he can keep this up it may work out for the Celtics after all.
(Oh yeah, and no there is no other #3 on the Boston's roster, I'm assuming he's worrying #8 for the same reason KG rocks #5, his regular number was retired.)
2) Hamilton Returns To The Starting Line-Up, Pistons Return To Winning
With Allen Iverson out due to injury, Richard Hamilton regained his spot in the starting line-up tonight and scored 31 points while helping the Pistons snap their 8 game skid. Michael Curry needs to join Terry Porter in the unemployment line because this was a common sense move to start Rip. They were 4-12 wth him coming off the bench! Hello!
The sad thing is that when Iverson does come back he'll probably be coming off the bench. Curry should use his fuckin' commin sense and start both Rip AND Iverson at the same time. News flash Coach Curry, Rodney Stuckey ain't that good. He wasn't good enough for Joe Dumars to send Chauncey to Denver and he isn't good enough to start over either A.I. or Rip. The nigga averaged 7.9 points and 3 assists a game over the 8 game losing streak. He should clearly be the odd man out. (And yeah he hot 22 tonight, but he only had 1 assist and I need more than that from my starting point guard.)
3) President Obama Sits Courtside, See's His Bulls Get Spanked By Wizards
The first President in 10 years to go see the a Wizards play. Then again, I guess Bush was busy fuckin' shit up for when Obama got in office lol.
Anyway, the Bulls got shellacked at the hands of the now 14-44 Wizards 113-90. Maybe the Wiz would play better if Barack came by more often lol. Here's a pic of him sitting courtside.
4) Jason Williams Denied Reinstatement
I still don't know why he retired in the first place. Hell, I don't even know why he left the Heat to sign with the Clippers in the offseason. I mean its not like he got traded or somebody put a gun to his head lol.
5) Shaq Erupts For 45 In Suns Victory
Where was this last night against the Lakers?? Anyway, they say this is the most Shaq has scored in 6 years and the first time he's hit 40 in 4 years. He also added in 11 boards so good for Shaq.
Celtics Make It Official, Sign Marbury
Welcome the newest Celtic Boston, MA! I'm still a little skeptical about this move, but really, what's the worse that can happen?? Its a only a $1.2 million deal and if he starts acting up they can just cut him and wipe their hands of the situation.
I don't think Steph is gonna wyle out though because he knows if he fucks this up, nobody is gonna want him. Plus, he's not gonna have a better shot at winning a championship unless he played for the Lakers or Cavs so I think he'll be fine.

Marbury, Knicks Reach Agreement, May Be Headed To Boston
Its about time, I thought they had said fuck it and forgot about the shit lol. Anyway, this agreement to release Steph comes just in time because after March 1st, no player is allowed to walk on with a team & play in the playoffs. Now, I'm not sure how Marbury will fit on the Celtics roster (and more importantly, coming off the bench), but I think we can pretty much count them out of the Championship race. Nothing against them or Steph, but there's just no way they are getting back to the Finals this year. This team cannot beat the LeBron and the Cavs...well they can, I just think they won't and adding Steph and Mikki Moore just isn't enough.

...And Again!
What. The. Fuck?!? The C's lost AGAIN tonight to the Rockets 89-85. I mean at least it was to a contender, but still Houston was without Tracy McGrady and the game was in Boston. Weird. Welp that 6 of 8 now and 3 in a row.
Question: how far will the Celtics fall?? Next opponent: @ LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavs!

Celtics Lose Again!
...To the fuckin' Bobcats! It was a loss in overtime (final score: 114-106), but still this shit is fuckin' embarrassing now lol. That's 5 losses out of 7 and drops them to 29-7. That's still not a bad mark, but you can't go losing 5 out of 7, especially to the less than stellar competition they've been playing against. I'm sure they'll turn it around, but this has got to have them worried.
You know I gotta wonder if that lil spat between Ray Allen and Rondo has anything to do with this because they obviously haven't been playing like a team since that loss to the Lakers. Weird.
In other NBA news, the Thunder won again! Its their 5th win of the season and their 2nd of their last 3. Three more wins and they are out of the all-time worse conversation. Congrats. Oh, and ironically the team they beat was the Knicks who just beat the C's Sunday lol.

What's Wrong With The C's??
Damn, the Celts lost again tonight! This time to the 13-19 Knicks (who snapped their 8 game losing streak) 100-88. Somebody named Wilson Chandler hit them up for 31! I just wanna know what happened?? They just lost their 4th game out of the 6 they've played since the 27-2 start. Maybe the Lakers exposed them a little on Christmas Day because that is where this all started. And the thing is they aren't even losing to great teams! Outside of the Lakers, they've lost to the Knicks, Golden State, and the Blazers without Brandon Roy. Games they totally should've won.
Well, whatever happened, nobody is talking about them breaking the '96 Bulls' record of 72-10 anymore lol.

Why???: Celtics Interested In Marbury
Huh?? How random is this?? I think the Celtics are getting desperate after this lil rough patch. After starting out 27-2, they've gone 1-3 and Danny Ainge looks to be panicking. I mean, do they even have room on the team for Marbury?? Sam Cassell, the current back up PG, barely even plays as it is and they had to move Eddie House to SG to get him on the court. I don't think this is what the Celtics or Marbury need but whatever. Maybe they'll come to their senses later on like they did when they brought in Darius Miles.

High Pau-wered
Great fuckin' game! In the end Kobe deferred to Pau Gasol and it worked out the right way this time. With this 92-83 victory the Lakers end the Celtics' 19 game win streak and drop them to 27-3. Finals preview?? You damn right!
This game just made my Christmas because today was boring as fuck! Christmas is a lot more boring than I remember. I need to make some kids or something nigga. Ladies, holla at me if you wanna lend me an egg ;-) lol.

C's 27-2 Start Best In NBA History; Extends Win Streak To 19
After tonight's easy 110-91 win over the 76ers, the Celtics become the first NBA team to ever start a season 27-2. Not even the '96 Bulls started off 27-2. Crazy!
And on top of being 27-2, the C's haven't lost since November 14th against the Nuggets. They are December-0 this month and will try to extend their streak to 20 against the Lakers on Christmas day (5pm, ABC). Ironically enough, this 19th win ties them with the 2000 Lakers for the 4th longest winning streak in NBA history. The longest of all-time is 33 by the 71-72 Lakers.

NBA Finals Preview??
What terrible scheduling by the NBA. While everybody across the world had their eyes on Barack, the 2 best "big threes" in the NBA faced off. KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen's Boston Celtics beat T-Mac, Yao, and Ron Artest's Houston Rockets 103-99.
I still haven't seen any highlights, but I'm sure it was a good one. The Rockets look GOOD from what I've seen and that move to bring in Artest looks brilliant. I worry about Tracy and Yao's health though, that could be the downfall of this team again. Of course Boston looks good, but will they be able to close the deal again this year without James Posey?? Welp, we'll just have to wait and see. The next time they play is on January 7th in Boston. How ironic would it have been if they played on Jan. 20th?? lol.

It Was Nice While It Lasted: Celts Cut Miles
Welp this experiment didn't last long lol. With a 10 game suspension looming for Darius Miles, the Celtics have decided to cut their washed up draft bust. I we won't have to worry about #7 being retired anytime soon lol.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, he was averaging 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game during the preseason. Are the Celtics sure they can go without those big numbers on a repeat run?? lol.

Garnett Gets NBA2K9 Cover; Parker Gets NBA Live 09
Hmmm...speaking over video game covers, I wonder what Madden is gonna do with their '09 cover with Brett Favre in a Packers uni seeing he now wants his release? Oh well, here's the NBA game vids:
Man, if these games really look this sick I'm buying both this year! Usually they never do so I won't get my hopes up lol. And I'll post the covers when I find them (I saw Parker's cover, but the pic was small as hell).
Well we know which one KG is gonna buy, check out what he had to say about NBA2K:
"NBA 2K is where it's at! End of story," said Garnett. "It's the game I play, the game my friends play, and the game anyone in the league serious about videogames plays. NBA 2K is the real deal, and until 2K Sports finds a way to plant an elbow in your chest, it's the closest thing to actually being there on the court. I can't tell you how pumped I am to be on the cover of NBA 2K9 -- it's a real honor. Now watch out! Because this fall 2K Sports and I are going to deliver the best basketball video game out there, period."
Ouch! He pretty much said the same shit about NBA Live back in 2001 when he graced that cover so no one should get too upset by this lol.

L.A., Boston Game 2 Tonight!
Welp tonight is game 2, how ya got?? I got L.A. because I don't think they'll let Boston take both games in Boston. Kobe knows that can't happen...then again I guess it can because the Heat did in '06 and still won lol. Anyway, yeah I got my money on the Lakers.
Check out this kool commercial I just saw on YouTube. They need to start running this on TV!

Game 1, Boston
What a game! I was hyped off this game 1 like it was a game 7 lol. If for some reason you weren't watching the final score was Boston 98-88. I predicted Boston would win the 1st game with the Lakers ultimately winning in 6 on the phone earlier, but I don't know now. I'm just lost with this series as a whole because K.G. has been my favorite player since Jordan retired the 2nd time, but I'm not too big on the Celtics and at the same time I love Kobe and the Lakers. I just don't know who I want to win, but this has been a great series so far just off this one game.
How ill was it when Paul Pierce came back to the game and you saw the crowd all standing like they were doing the wave and shit lol. Then Pierce goes right to work and busts two 3's back to back!
And how about that put-back dunk Garnett had late in the 4th?? That shit was sick! Oh yeah and that alley oop from Fisher to Kobe mid-way through the 3rd?? Can't forget the 4-point play Pierce had at the beginning of the 3rd. Man, this was just a great game! I can't wait until game 2 Sunday, I'm out!
May 30, 2008
And Then There Was 2
With there win tonight the Celtics make it back to the Finals for the first time since 1987! I fuckin' 2 years-old son! lol. Its crazy how things work out because remember how heart broken they were after they didn't get the #1 pick and the chance to draft Greg Oden last year?? Well if they had they wouldn't have been able to trade for Ray Allen or Kevin Garnett...oh and not to mention that Greg Oden didn't play one game this season. Yep, its funny how those things work lol.
Now, I don't wanna say I told you so...but I kinda did...well if you got Facebook and saw my bracket lol. On that bracket I had Boston beating L.A. in 6 games considering they were the best team in the league and they are 8-2 against the Lakers in the Finals BUT I don't know about that pick anymore. Whatever, lets just hope they don't break out the booty shorts again lol.
Anyway, the Finals start this Thursday June 5th and somewhere all ABC execs are thanking the Lord they didn't have to try to promote another Spurs/Pistons series lol.

KG Wins Defensive Player Of The Year
More bittersweet news for me as it pertains to me and KG as he wins his first Defensive Player of the Year Award. I always wish him well, but I'm still pissed he went to the C's. I probably should be more mad at the T'Wolves, but whatever lol. [FULL STORY]
Anyway, speaking of the NBA, did y'all see the 2 games last night?? I actually wanted the Wizards to win the series against the Cavs, but since they wore those god-awful gold and black uniforms both games I'm glad they're down 0-2 lol.
As far as the late game goes, I watched the end and the refs definitely bailed the Jazz out last night. That was FAR from a foul, but it took away the gaming tying 3 Bobby Jackson hit and the Rockets went on to lose. Tough break lol.

Celtics Lose To The Bobcots LMAO!!
That's right, the NBA's almighty Boston Celtics lost to the fuckin' Bobcats! All over ESPN.com I see the word "shock" associated with the C's loss, but this didn't shock me at all because the first time these 2 played back on Nov. 24th it took a terrible inbounds pass, luck, and a Ray Allen 3-pointer for them to pull out the victory. And guess what?? Ray Allen didn't play! lol.
Well, in actuality its really not that bad because its only their forth loss in this 82 game season. I just wanted to rub it in because I'm still pissed K.G. accepted the trade lol. Plus, I can't wait to hear what Skip Bayless has to say about this tomorrow on First Take...well that's if I'm home lol.
