Why???: Waka Flocka Disses Wiz Khalifa
In this game of Hip-Hop few have the right to diss up (definition: the act of dissing someone greater than you), and usually when it's allowed, it's because longevity is involved.
With that being said, Waka Flocka obviously is NOT one of the rappers who is allowed to diss up. Soulja Boy, Lil B, Lil Chuckee, these are the type of guys Waka is allowed to diss, not Wiz. And that's not to say Wiz is some super great rapper himself, but he's significantly better than Waka, so Waka is not allowed to diss him, or anybody of his ilk or above. Dissing up is not allowed, sorry Waka.
(Side note: I may or may not have more to say on this later when I have more time to write.)

DJ Kay Slay - Blockstars (feat. Yo Gotti, Jim Jones, Busta Rhymes & Ray J) Video
If you remember when the mp3 for this song first hit the internet Plies was on the track and not Yo Gotti, but after Plies gave Kay Slay the run around about being in the video he said fuck him and replaced him. Just a little back story if you hadn't heard.
Speaking of people Kay Slay don't fuck with no more, didn't he and Busta fall out once upon a time?? I think I remember writing about that way back when. Oh well.
(Side note: It should be illegal to wear those Coogi sweaters Kay Slay had on, especially in New York. They don't look right on nobody but Big.)

Best Of Both Offices: Jadakiss On Kay Slay
Thank goodness somebody is taking a stand against auto-tune and still has respect for their craft. I'm super happy to hear he got Wayne to just spit on the album without that shit. Not because I'm really looking forward to a Wayne feature, but I just would've been pissed if I'm hearing one of the few rappers who haven't sold out allow some shit like that on their album. Most rappers today are bitches and don't wanna talk up when shit is wack so its nice to see Jada cares about what his shit sounds like.
And I'm totally with Slay here, auto-tune is on overkill right now and nobody can really say Hip-Hop is alive if the 2 biggest artists (sales wise) can't just make a hot record without electronic assistance. The shit is sad.
