Wait, Lady Gaga Is Attractive??

I'm a few weeks late on these teasers for Lady Gaga's new song Cake, but wow! Who knew under all the meat and other ridiculous wardrobe choices was a mad decent whooty (definition: white girl with a booty)?! I mean, I'm pretty sure I want to have sex with Lady Gaga now, and I certainly didn't feel that way when I woke up this morning. I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover, or in this case, by what covers it.

Thursday Billboard Update - 6/16/11

Adele 21
Just a brief 2 week after selling a million copies first week, Lady Gaga's Born This Way has been overtaken for the #1 spot by the steady hands of Adele's 21. With 114,000 sold, 21 gets its 10th non-consecutive week at #1. Question: has there ever been a shorter time spent at #1 after selling 1 million in their first week than Lady Gaga's Born This Way? Anyway, the big story on the Billboard 200 this week is The Book Of Mormon blasting back onto the charts at #3 with 60,700 sold. The Broadway musical by the creators of South Park debuted 3 weeks ago at #31, then gradually fell off of the albums charts, but after winning damn near every Tony Award, The Book Of Mormon album finally found its way. And last, but not least, Tech N9ne enjoys his best sales week ever as his 6's & 7's debuts at #4 with 55,800 sold. That's HUGE for an independent artist.

Adele's Rolling In The Deep stays hot and grabs a 6th week at #1. Entering the top 10 this week is Jason Aldean's Dirt Anthem (23-9) and Nicki Minaj's Super Bass (11-10). Believe it or not, this is Nicki's first top 10 single as a lead artist. Her only other top 10 hits was Trey Songz's Bottoms Up which peaked at #6 last year. Yes, sad, but true.

The Billboard 200 1-10
first week debuts in bold

1. Adele - 21 (2-1)
2. Lady Gaga - Born This Way (1-2)
3. Original Cast Recording - The Book Of Mormon (-3)
4. Tech N9ne - 6's & 7's (4)
5. Ronnie Dunn - Ronnie Dunn (5)
6. All Time Low - Dirty Work (6)
7. Jason Aldean - My Kinda Party (8-7)
8. Brad Paisley - This Is Country Music (6-8)
9. Various Artists - Now 38 (7-9)
10. Death Cab For Cutie - Codes and Keys (3-10)

The Billboard Hot 100 1-10
first time top 10's in bold

3. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem (6-3)
4. Katy Perry - E.T. (3-4)

10. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass (11-10)
  • Super doucher Lupe Fiasco's Out Of My Head featuring Trey Songz jumps 17 spots 87-70.

Thursday Billboard Update - 6/9/11

Gaga
After a marvelous opening week, Lady Gaga Born This Way came crashing back to Earth this week with an 84% sales decrease (a 60% decrease is average, a 70% decrease is danger zone, but an 84% decrease is "Lady Gaga fan" scary). In my opinion, her first week sales should come with an asterisk beside it because evidently the album was sold for just 99 cents on 2 separate days on Amazon. That ain't right. Anyway, the set sold 174,000 in its 2nd week. Meanwhile, Adele's 21 keeps chugging along with another 121,000 sold. With her steady pace and Gaga's rapid decline, it's expected that she will regain the #1 spot on next week's charts.

Nothing interesting is going on on the Hot 100 this week and Adele's Rolling In The Deep is still #1.

The Billboard 200 1-10
first week debuts in bold

1. Lady Gaga - Born This Way (1-1)
2. Adele - 21 (3-2)
3. Death Cab For Cutie - Codes and Keys (3)
4. Eddie Vedder - Ukulele Songs (4)
5. My Morning Jacket - Circuital (5)
6. Brad Paisley - This Is Country Music (2-6)
7. Various Artists - Now 38 (6-7)
8. Jason Aldean - My Kinda Party (9-8)
9. Flogging Molly - Speed of Darkness (9)
10. Glee Cast - Glee, The Music: Season 2, Vol. 6 (4-10)

The Billboard Hot 100 1-10
first time top 10's in bold

1. Adele - Rolling In The Deep (1-1)
2. Pitbull - Give Me Everything (2-2)
3. Katy Perry - E.T. (3-3)
4. Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song (6-4)
5. Jennifer Lopez - On The Floor (4-5)
6. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem (9-6)
7. Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory (8-7)
8. Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough (5-8)
9. Britney Spears - Till The End (7-9)
10. Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On (12-10)
  • I can't say I'm shocked, but Lil Wayne's How To Love skyrockets 57 spots 69-12 in its 2nd week on the charts.
  • Pitbull's International Love featuring Chris Brown debuts at #59.
  • Beyonce's Best Thing I Never Had debuts at #84.
  • Rihanna's Man Down flies 26 spots 94-68 amid controversy over the video. I've watched the video several times in the past few days, and the only controversy its caused is in my pants.
  • Lupe Fiasco's Out Of My Head with Trey Songz jumps 11 spots 98-87.
  • Trey Songz's Unusual featuring Drake debuts at #90.
  • Rej3ctz's Cat Daddy debuts at #97. I've seen people saying they've wanted to do "the Cat Daddy," so I'm assuming it's some kind of new dance, but I don't care enough to find out for sure.

Thursday Billboard Update - 6/2/11

Gaga
Adele's 21 has ruled the Billboard 200 thus far in 2011...then Lady Gaga's Born This Way dropped. Born This Way sold 1,108,400 albums first week, the most any album has sold since 50 Cent's The Massacre in 2005. All isn't bad for Adele though as 21 sells another 126,000 and is rounding the bases on double platinum. Also, Maybach Music Group's Self Made Vol. 1 debuts at #5 with 58,900 sold.

Adele's Rolling In The Deep remains #1 for a 5th consecutive week, but the big story today is DJ Khaled's I'm on One featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne skyrocketing 68 positions 78-10. Now if you ask me, it's the most overrated song of the year, but the people seem to love it so there you have it. And this marks DJ Khaled's first career top 10.

The Billboard 200 1-10
first week debuts in bold

1. Lady Gaga - Born This Way (1)

  • Jadakiss' I Love You mixtape debuts at #40 with 11,200 sold. Not bad for a mixtape.

8. Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory (19-8)
9. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem (8-9)
10. DJ Khaled - I'm on One (78-10)
  • Beyonce's Girls (Run The World) soars 21 spots 50-29 in its 6th week on the charts.
  • Lady Gaga's You And I debuts at #36.
  • Beyonce's 1+1 debuts at #57.
  • Rihanna's California King Bed flies 14 spots 80-66 in its 2nd week.

Thursday Billboard Update - 12/3/09

Susan Boyle - I Dreamed A Dream
Proving looks don't matter when it comes to talent, Susan Boyle's debut album I Dreamed A Dream (terrible title) annihilates her competition and moves 701,000 units in her first week. That's good for 2009's best sales week, beating out Eminem's Relapse's first week of 608,244.

After all that hoopla last week, Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment comes in at #3 with 198,000 sold. I guess America wasn't as ready for that gay shit as it thought lol. Also underwhelming is Rihanna's Rated R at #4 with 181,400 sold. Now on the surface that's her best first week ever, but with all the extra press, sympathy, and 20/20 interviews she should've moved more. Especially with that extra day and Black Friday. Don't bode well for Chris Brown's Graffiti.

Same ol' same ol' on the Hot 100.

first week debuts in bold

9. Carrie Underwood - Play On (9-9)
10. Norah Jones - The Fall (3-10)
  • Birdman's Pricele$$ debuts at #29 with 35,800 sold. I'm almost positive it reach that high because of Black Friday and a large amount of white mother's of teenagers buying whatever CD was on the "New Release" rack lol.
  • Jay Sean All Or Nothing comes in at #33 with 30,800 sold.
  • Angie Stone's Unexpected finds its way at #99 with 10,000 sold.

Beyoncé - Video Phone (Extended Remix) (feat. Lady GaGa)

I finally watch the video and I got a few thoughts

  • Damn I fuckin' love Beyonce!
  • Somebody needs to grab 2:56-2:58 and make that into a slow motion .GIF file.
  • I see why Lady GaGa wears all those big glasses and veils and shit because when its just her, you can really see all the dude-ish attributes.
  • This video was cheap as hell, but fuck it, did you see Beyonce?? Shit nigga!
  • Making Lady GaGa do Beyonce's dance routine next to Beyonce is unfair to Lady GaGa and all her fans. Its like making Rihanna sing accapella on the same stage as Patti LaBelle.
  • While I love Beyonce, I didn't love her with that weird side bang hairstyle at the beginning.
  • Damn Beyonce is so got damn sexy! Shit nigga, shit! I hate Jay-Z.
Okay, that will be all.
