Carrie Underwood's Blown Away keeps the #1 spot for a 2nd week by moving an additional 119,500 copies. Coming in at #9 is Tank's new album This Is How I Feel with 33,100 sold.

Terrible week for Hip-Hop on the Billboard 200 so fuck it, on to the next one.

Owl City's Fireflies returns to the top spot and Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind moves up to #2, but the real story this week is Rihanna's Russian Roulette soaring 66 spots to land in the top 10 at #9. We all knew it was going to pick up, but there it goes and it only took 3 weeks.

Thursday Billboard Update - 10/1/09

Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 loses ground at the top and falls to #2 with 134,100 sold. Drake's So Far Gone EP hangs into the top 10, falling to #9 with 36,100 in its 2nd week.

Only one new entry in the top 10 this week, and its actually been here before. Mariah Carey's Obsessed is the song and it sees its way back into the top 10 at #9. I can see it landing as high as #4 next week with her new album dropping this past Tuesday and all.

  • Maxwell's jam Bad Habits finally debuts this week at #96.
