Knicks Finally Name Mike Woodson Head Coach

I don't know if Knicks fans had let go of the Phil Jackson fantasy yet, but if not, they definitely should be Mike Woodson is now officially the new head coach of the New York Knicks. Good luck to Mike (but not really because I'm a Heat fan).

Mike D'Antoni "Resigns" As Knicks Head Coach

And last night the Knicks showed just how much they truly miss coach D'Antoni by destroying the Trailblazers 121-79 and breaking their 6 game losing streak.

Question: Why wouldn't D'Antoni take his talents to the college ranks and be the next great college coach? I mean, he doesn't have to jump to some scrub team right away, he could just wait until something else opens up. I don't know, just a thought.

Anyway, Mike Woodson will coach the team for the remainder of the season and then I'm sure the pursuit of Phil Jackson will ensue.
