Chris Bosh Out Indefinitely
(Side note: Is there any doubt that someone will take one of these pictures of Chris Bosh bent over in pain and put some type of gay caption on it? You know, because sexualizing another man bent over with an injury isn't gay at all.)

2012 NBA All-Star Reserves Announced
Not bad, I can't find much fault with either team. Personally, I would've taken Monta Ellis (22.6 ppg and 6.3 apg) over Tony Parker (18.9 and 7.7) or Dirk (17.6 and 6.2 rpg), but I understand why the coaches left him off. The only other snub I can think of is Rajon Rondo, but that's really not all that egregious (though I'm sure Knick fans think Jeremy Lin not making the team is).
Another thing I wanted to bring up was how weird it's gonna be to have an All-Star game with neither Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan on either roster. Duncan had made the team every season of his career before this (13 straight!) and KG had made it every season since 1997 (14 straight!).

Chris Bosh To Debate Skip Bayless Next Week
That's right, on September 14th, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh will be on First Take to debate the man who dubbed him Bosh Spice, Skip Bayless. Hopefully Bosh brings his A game and not that super generic BS that most athlete come with when they debate Skip. Can't wait on some Bart Scott shit!

Beverly Hills Bosh
Man, Chris Bosh has been huge for us in the Eastern Conference Finals, so here's a tribute to him courtesy of 790 The Ticket and DJ Valentine.

Random News Shit: All Over The Place Edition
And for you Heat haters out there, no he didn't get married to a dude, he got married to his GIRLfriend Adrienne Nicole Williams. I guess he doesn't really care about the gay rumors anyway because if he did he would've made a big deal out of this wedding. Hell, if people were questioning my sexuality I would've documented every second of the wedding and had it put on WorldStar under the title "Fiyah NOT Gay After All, Gets Married, Loves Pussy."
Well good for him, though I don't give a shit what he does as long as he keeps playing like he has been in the first round.
2) Antoine Dodson Arrested For Marijuana Possession
Literally everyone has made the "he should've been saying hide ya weed" joke, so I'll go in a different direction and ask why are we still wasting time arresting people for marijuana possession?? I don't smoke weed so I don't give a shit, but on the criminal hierarchy chart stoners are at the bottom, so why are we fucking with them? Just legalize the shit and lets move on with our collective lives.
Besides, worse things can happen to a gay guy than being thrown in jail.
3) Weird Al Yankovic New Album Drops June 21st
The album is called Apocalypse and will obviously feature the Lady Gaga parody Perform This Way that came out earlier this week. Check out the promo video:
This really has nothing to do with anything, but I wonder how much money Weird Al has?
4) Lil B Wants $10 Million To Sign With A Major Label
Good, now underground you shall remain.

Random News Shit: SportsCenter Edition
As a Cowboys fan, I hate this, but as a football fan, I agree with the Eagles decision to put their franchise tag on Michael Vick. Of course there's going to have to be a CBA in place before they can do anything, but if there is still a franchise tag when the dust settles, might as well use it on Vick. I would still try to keep Kevin Kolb as insurance, but if the guy wants to get a shot to start somewhere else, I'm fine with them seeking a trade.
Can NFL teams make 3-team trades?? I've never heard of it being done, but if they can, I don't see why the Eagles, Titans, and a 3rd team that needs a QB wouldn't enter a 3-teamer that would land Kolb in Tennessee, Vince Young on the 3rd team needing a QB, and draft picks for Philly.
2) Kevin Durant Calls Out Chris Bosh
"I was talking to my teammate and he decided he wanted to put his 2 cents into it. I'm a quiet guy, a laid-back guy, but I'm not going to let nobody talk trash to me. He's on a good team now, so he thinks he can talk a little bit....There's a lot of fake tough guys in this league and he's one of them."
Chris Bosh is a fake tough guy?? Chris will probably take that as a compliment because I'm sure that's the first time his name and "tough" as been brought up in the same breath.
Look, it's nice KD allegedly stuck up for his teammate, but calling out the kind and cuddly Chris Bosh doesn't impress me. Especially when your team loss.
3) Maurkice Pouncey Out For The Super Bowl
This matters, but not really. The Steelers ARE going to win the Super Bowl, so at the end of the day, Pouncey's absence will be a non-factor.
Now I need to figure out if I will even bother writing a NFL Winners & Losers column for Friday because I'm 100% positive the Packers are going to lose. Well, we'll see.
4) Pacers Fire Jim O'Brien
Hands up if you knew Jim O'Brien was still coaching in the NBA.
*crickets*
Just as I figured.
5) Cavs Lose 20th Straight Game
Damn, it was all good just a Decision ago.
Oh well, see you in Miami tonight guys!
6) O.J. Mayo Blames Positive Test On Energy Drink
Skimming that article, I didn't see the name of said energy drink. If it was just a run of the mill energy drink, I say reduce the suspension, but if it was a Four Loko, I say tack on 10 more games. You don't deserve a game check if you drink Four Lokos.

Like A Bosh!
Like a Bosh! I'm gonna assume The Basketball Jones guys wrote this song before the season and paid Chris Bosh to play lost through the first 10 games of the season to set up for a huge game when the video was ready.
...Or maybe it was just a coincidence Bosh dropped 35 points in 30 minutes of play on the same day this video came out? You decide.

Miami Cavaliers??
With that being said, you've got to be insane if you're panicking or laughing at the Heat for their performance for their first game together in an 82 game season. Again, the they only lost by 8, and were within 3 with about a minute left. The Heat will be fine.
Thank goodness for the Sixers coming up tomorrow.

Wade Hurt, LeBron & Bosh Shine In Heat Debut
The really scary part (besides D-Wade's injury, but we'll get to that in a sec) was how well all the role players played. Mario Chalmers, Carlos Arroyo, Udonis Haslem, James Jones, Mike Miller, and Dexter Pittman all played a helluva, albeit the preseason...and against the Pistons.
The clear downer of the night was Dwyane Wade pulling a hamstring after just 3 minutes of play. After the game, LeBron said Wade mention his hammy was tight recently, but if that was the case, why was he even playing in the first place?? This is probably gonna keep Wade out until the season opener, but he should be fine.
Man, October 26th can't get here fast enough for me! I can't wait to see that cunt Michelle Beadle and all the rest of the losers who turned on LeBron looking stupid as the Heat are running through the league like Bishop Eddie Long through a youth choir. Oh, and I'm definitely not opposed to the Heat being introduced to C-Murder's Down 4 My Niggaz every home game either. That was just brilliant, because really, FUCK them other niggas!

Random News Shit: Urban SportsCenter Edition
I'll be honest, I didn't really give a shit about this story. If I had, I would've wrote about it Sunday. Even though I never believe anyone when they say their Twitter got hacked after they post come wild shit, I didn't think it was a big deal because it was just a random tweet...then I found out he actually TwitPic'd the $5,000!
What the fuck dude, how idiotic can you be?? I know you're unhappy about still being in Denver when your boys from the '03 draft took their talents to South Beach, but c'mon son! Melo, you're too big for this shit. If you didn't do nothing with Kat Stacks, just ignore the bitch. Done and done. Idiot.
2) Manny Ramirez Set To Join White Sox
Well good for Manny. Thank goodness I didn't drop dollars on that Dodgers jersey back in 2008.
Oh, and Manny definitely is NOT cutting his hair, sorry White Sox.
3) Chris Bosh Gets Engaged
Uhhh, aight then. You sure you wanna do this Chris, you know you're gonna be in Miami for at least the next 5 years, right?? Aight then playa, more power to ya. I guess we'll see you on season 5 of "Basketball Wives."
4) Troy Polamalu's Hair Insured For $1M By Head and Shoulders
Wow. That's it, just wow. All them niggas in the league with dreads must be pissed. I wonder how much Head and Shoulders will insure Tom Brady's golden locks for if he agrees to not cut his hair either?? You know their thinking about it.
5) Shaun Rogers Fined For Gun Charge
The fine was $300,000, but that worked out awesome because he's 1) not gonna see any jailtime and 2) isn't going to be suspended by the NFL. Good deal.
6) Ocho Cinco Fined 25K For Tweeting During Game
I forgot to talk about this last week, but how retarded and petty is this shit?? Seriously, $25,000 for tweeting during a preseason game that he wasn't even in anymore?? Should he have been tweeting during the game?? No, but exactly is the harm done by this, and is it $25,000 worth of harm?? Hell no! Stop being petty, NFL.

Dan LeBatard Rejoices Over The Three Kings
"Holla! Purple drank! Size matters, but it's the thickness and the width they want! A double rainbow! A double rainbow!" LMAO! All hail Dan LeBatard! This is a timeless classic! I'm serious, the Heat should play this before every home game. The starting line-ups should be announced to this lol.
(Side note: If you didn't get that part I quote, allowed me to explained. The purple drank is in reference to when he was on PTI the other day and he and Wilbon talked about JaMarcus Russell getting arrested for codeine possession and the OTL report on purple drank. The "size matters" part was in reference to this weird male enhancement drug commercial they play on the radio in the morning down here in South Florida. And of course the double rainbow is in reference to this YouTube classic.)
