Damn, how bad is Prodigy doing in life that he was willing to say "Put ya diamonds in the sky" on a record for one of Jay-Z's artists? I guess it is only so long fake thugs can pretend.
Anyway, this was a pretty decent record. I'm sure it will be overrated by the backpacking masses, but it definitely wasn't life changing, nor worth a full day of waiting. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song, just not the life changing shit I was expecting.
Fuck all that though, somebody lock Jay Elect in the studio while he's still there so he can finish this damn album. Niggas call your album Detox because the shit is taking forever my dude.

You gotta love this nigga lol. I still don't know why Saigon took offense to that line, but whatever and like Joey said he probably didn't hear it himself and somebody just told him Joe said his name in a rap.
As far as Prodigy goes Joey was DEAD ON with that assessment. For years me and Andy have been calling P the bummiest nigga in the game because dude just be looking all dirty and fiended out ALL the time. And you know I was just thinking about that whole Jay-Z/Nas battle last week and I finally came to a conclusion of who the loser was: Prodigy! Joey must've been reading my mind when they taped this shit lol.

This Week In Flops 4/22/08
First off, damn don't this chick look like Brandon T. Jackson in that pic?? lol. Anyway, don't expect many records to be sold when SoundScan comes out next week because these 3 albums have no buzz and I just found out they were all dropping today...today lol.
Out of this group I think Tiffany Evans will come out on top and do about 20-30k.
Next up is Prodigy's (is this nigga in jail yet??) third album H.N.I.C. Pt. 2. I'm sure nobody is really checking for this shit so I'm guessing 15-25k.
I didn't even know Bizzy Bone had an album coming out and if I don't know then you probably don't either and that's never a recipe for success. This album won't even chart, but I'm guessing somewhere in the 2-5k range.

Yo, that T-Dub post was supposed to be my last for the night, but I was downloading a flick so I couldn't just hop offline like I wanted to lol. Anyway, I was just trying to past time by online until it finished when I ran across this ignorant ass shit. This is an actual video of Prodigy of Mobb Deep taking his 7 year-old son to the shooting range and subsequently letting him shoot a shotgun! WOOOW! Check out the video, you know I got more to say below:
This shit here is completely crazy! This kid is only 7 years-old for goodness sake! When I was 7 year-old I was watching Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles and shit like that NOT in the gun range with pops.
This video is wrong on SOOO many levels, most notably Prodigy JUST the other day warning rappers to "wake up" and stop acting like clowns. Shit like this REALLY make it hard to believe these rappers (and really people in general) when they get arrested and try to say the police set them up (or as my ig'nant black folks like to say, "dem crackas fucked me up"). I mean honestly, after watching this does anyone NOT think his 3 year prison sentence automatically seems justified?? Its hard to argue that you don't have guns on you when your 7 year-old child is allegedly wanting to learn to shoot a shotgun...and you teach him. Kids don't just wake up and want to shoot shotguns unless they see someone doing it first hand. Hell, Are 7 year-olds even allowed in gun ranges??? I dunno man this shit has just got me all fucked up in the dome area lol. I really can't believe what I just saw.
One thing is for sure though, we can all pretty much rest assured that this lil dude is gonna be a future Rikers Island inmate lol. Sad.
