Anyway, Gnarls is MTV's Artist Of The Week so maybe they'll see a lil bump in the Soundscans next week.

This Week In Flops 3/25/08
I'm very sad to put both of these album in TWIF this week, but I doubt either will cross the 300,000 sold barrier so here we are. Maybe I should lower it to 200,000?? Nahh!
First up is Day26's self-titled debut. Diddy and Sway kept saying DK had the #1 album though SoundScan doesn't come out until tomorrow, but I think Bad Boy will stay hot and the boys of MTB4 will dethrone their sisters. I'm thinking they can push at least 180k-200k first week.
Now, this album here has been my shit! I was ecstatic last week when they announced they were pushing the album up from April 8th to March 25th (yes, I already went and bought my copy), but I'm not convinced their buzz is big enough right now to do big first week numbers. That really shouldn't matter to Gnarls though because their debut St. Elsewhere started off slow, but picked up the pace to consistently do 50k a week until it crossed the 1 million sold mark. Anyway, I got Gnarls doing 115k-130k when SoundScan stops counting next week.

Gnarls Pushes Their Album Up, Thank Goodness!
With albums like Rick Ross, Snoop, Fat Joe, Danity Kane, & Flo Rida all coming out in the past weeks, I'm still mainly listening to Gnarls lol. I dunno the album is just incredible to me and I'm happy to say they've pushed it up 3 weeks to March 25th! I'm glad there's a label out there that knows they can still reserve the right to push an album UP if circumstances change and not only back like most do.
I can't believe I'm gonna have the album in my hands next week! I'm so happy right now. Man, I gotta go jam that Trilla some more since I bought it Sunday after Calle Ocho lol. [FULL STORY]

Don't Watch Run, It Might Make You Have An Epileptic Seizure
Last week I posted Gnarls Barkley's video for their first single Run, but it hasn't quite made it to television yet after failing the Harding Test. No, the Harding Test is NOT a test older men take to see if they need Viagra, its a set of guidelines to prevent shit on TV from triggering epileptic seizures. Apparently the black and white "strobe effects" are gonna be too much for some and we don't want anybody swallowing their tongue and suing MTV and Gnarls Barkley for it lol.

Man, I was anticipating Gnarls 2nd album before, but hearing this song just takes that anticiapation to another level! This song is SOOOOOOOO dope! Cee-Lo is that nigga and April 8th can't come fast enough.
I hope YouTube doesn't close ?uest's channel for doing this because I REALLY appreciate it and most likely will give it 100 more views before I go to bed. The song is that hot to me.

Morre Gnarls news! I just saw the bulletin on Myspace and they've announced that their 2nd album will be called The Odd Couple NOT Atlantis like I got off Wiki the other day. Looks like their dropping this April so I'm SOOO fuckin' ready! And I'm loving Run, that shit is jammin'.

Gnarls Barkley's CD Nearly Done; So Is Joe Budden's
While you dickriders and drones are waiting around for Tha Carter III to drop I'm getting amp'd at news that Gnarls Barkley and Joe Budden are really coming back.
St. Elsewhere was clearly one of the illest albums to drop in '06 after Crazy turned into a mega-hit and I've been patiently waiting for more Gnarls. Guess what? The wait is nearly over! Billboard.com says the new album is nearing completion and RollingStones.com says its due out in April. Now, no name has been given for this album as a Myspace blog a few weeks ago warned that new info on the album will be released slowly and through their website GnarlsBarkley.com, but on Wikipedia they have it as being called Atlantis. We shall see, but I'm amp'd!
Now, I told you guys Joey was dropping a Mood Muzik 3 album and his official sophomore set Padded Room would come thereafter, but it looks like the latter is gonna be coming first. Joe told Billboard.com that Padded Room is "completed" and if all goes as planned we'll be getting it this spring! Later on in the interview Joey says he's still in the studio everyday making new shit so hopefully he'll have his third album out shortly after this one. I got my fingers crossed for that shit to happen; no word on Mood Muzik 3: The Album.
