ESPN The Magazine has a new music issue in these streets and it has all kinda goodies in it like LaMarr Woodley, Marshawn Lynch and Trent Richardson as Run-D.M.C., James Stewart as Rick James, and Allyson Felix as Beyonce. (And that's not even mentioning the fact that LeBron James and Dr. Dre are on the freaking cover!) But if you ask me, there's nothing better in the issue than Tampa Bay QB Josh Freeman dressed up as Michael Jackson because he looks like a long lost Jackson already. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if his resemblance to the Jacksons is what brought the idea for the issue up in the first place.
Anyway, enjoy the behind-the-scenes look above, Josh's interview with the mag, and his official MJ photos.

Josh Freeman As Michael Jackson!
Skip Bayless Begs LeBron To Enter Dunk Contest
I'm with skip, just ball up and enter this thing already! ...Though I'm sure it's already too late.

The New Host Of First Take Is A Cutie!
Yes, yes, and more yes! This Cari Champion chick is NICE!
I admit, I was mad when ESPN got rid of Dana and Jay, and mad again when they weren't replaced with Jemele Hill, but they totally redeemed themselves with this one. I'm just so happy right now, I love Cari already.
Oh yeah, Cari starts tomorrow morning at 10am, so be sure to check her out!
(Side note: I can't lie, I definitely wouldn't be mad if a Erin Andrews situation happened with her, but let me stop being a creeper lol.)

Bill Simmons Gets Pres. Obama On The B.S. Report
I almost can't believe it, but Bill Simmons visited the White House and had an exclusive sit down with President Barack Obama. Wow, that's nearly as big a get as the time Bill had on David Duchovny! I'm obviously kidding, but as a long time B.S. Report listener and Obama supporter, this one is special. Congrats to SIMMOANS!

Glenn Beck Reacts To ESPN Firings/Suspensions Over Lin Comments
I never thought I'd say this, but Glenn Beck is right. For a guy to be fired over a fucking headline that is a common phrase is completely retarded. And since when did chink become the Asian equivalent to nigger? It's not.
This whole situation is dumb and it sucks that we've crafted a society where ESPN would even have to think about if they should fire or suspension a person over something completely harmless like this.

Linsanity Postgame
This shit was so fucking funny! Bravo guys, Lincredibly done.
In other Jeremy Lin news, how sad is it they we live in a society where somebody can lose their job for running "Chink In The Armor" headline about an Asian player on a mobile app? I don't blame ESPN for firing the guy, they had no other choice in this super sensitive society we've created. Damn shame.

Extra-Ordinary Tebow
On Wednesday, John Legend stopped by to debate Skip Bayless and dropped off this gem about Skip's beloved Tim Tebow. Good stuff.

Chris Bosh To Debate Skip Bayless Next Week
That's right, on September 14th, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh will be on First Take to debate the man who dubbed him Bosh Spice, Skip Bayless. Hopefully Bosh brings his A game and not that super generic BS that most athlete come with when they debate Skip. Can't wait on some Bart Scott shit!

Why???: Whichael Vick
I'm not outraged or offended by it (and I'm not quite sure why everyone else is), if anything, he looks like an albino dude more than a white person (or Dave Chappelle). I just don't get why ESPN didn't just Photoshop Colt Brennan's head onto Mike's shoulders since that appears to be who they modeled him after. It would've saved time and looked more natural than this bullshit.
Anyway, if you want to read Toure's piece on ESPN.com, click here.

Jemele Hill Dissed By Michael Smith For Madden
This shit really doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I found it funny. Apparently, when Michael Smith and Jemele Hill were young journalists they were set up and... well just listen to Jemele tell the story.
(Side note: If I knew Jemele Hill and Michael Smith were gonna be debating in place of Skip Bayless this week, I wouldn't have decided to skip an entire week of First Take when I heard he was going on vacation. I'm not mad at Skip for taking a break before the NFL season, I just didn't want to be subjected to hearing lame ass Erik Kuselias, when as it turns out, it was Jemele and Mike the past 3 days. My bad)
(Side side note: ESPN2 has got to work on getting some line-up schedules printed out and sent to me the night before every show when Skip goes on vacation.)

The Total Quarterback Rating
And you thought you couldn't figure out the passer rating formula. Ha! This Total QBR shit makes the passer rating look like kindergarten math.
Either way, is it a surprise to anyone that JaMarcus Russell has the lowest QBR they've recorded thus far? Anybody?
Oh, and the Panthers should be ashamed they let Jimmy Clausen keep the #2 jersey away from Cam Newton with his 11.7 QBR. When the only person you were better than in the past 3 years is JaMarcus Russell, you shouldn't be able to have that kind of power. And I don't care it was just his rookie season.

Blind Side 2? The Jimmy Butler Story
If there was ever gonna be a sequel to "The Blind Side," there's no doubt it would be about Jimmy Butler (though I'm sure much like "The Hangover II," everyone would idiotically criticize the storyline for being too similar to the original despite that being the whole point). Dude got kicked out of his house by his cunt of a mom at the age of 13 and bounced around for years until finding a home and family his senior year. Jimmy then went off to junior college where was began to be recognized by scouts at tops schools and landed a scholarship with Marquette. A few year later, and now he's in the NBA. You know his biological mother is PISSED! You gotta love it.

Random News Shit: NBA Playoff Preparation Edition
Why in the FUCK was Manu playing in that game last night anyway?? If the starters were gonna play in the season finale, what was the point of them sitting out the Lakers game the night before? That’s completely retarded and I’m glad it happened because the Spurs were practically begging for this outcome with their old ass.
Good thing for them the X-rays were negative, but I’m happy with them at least getting a little scare for making such a dumb decision.
2) Jalen Rose Back On ESPN Saturday
If you were wondering where the hell Jalen Rose has been during the NBA coverage the past few weeks, he was serving a suspension for getting a DUI back home in Detroit. This Saturday he will be back in studio and ready for the playoffs. Good for him.
I’ll tell you what though, it’s a good thing he didn’t call any ladies sweet baby or an asshole like Ron Franklin or his ass would’ve been fired.
3) Shaq Back At Practice
Welp, I guess we’ll see how long this return from injury lasts for the Diesel because his last comeback was over within 6 minutes. It’s still unsure if he’ll be ready for the Celtics first 2011 playoff game against New York this Sunday, and if he isn’t, look the fuck out!

Random News Shit: SportsCenter Edition
This may come as some sort of surprise, but Blake Griffin made the team. I know, I know, let's all take a moment to pick up our eyes that fell from out collective heads.
Alright, so on the Rookie team you have Blake, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors, Landry Fields, Wesley Johnson, Greg Monroe, and Gary Neal. On the Sophomore team you have former Rookie Of The Year Tyreke Evans, DeJuan Blair, Steph Curry, DeMar DeRozan, Taj Gibson, Jrue Holiday, Serge Ibaka, Brandon Jennings, and Wesley Matthews. If Brandon Jennings can't participate in the Dunk Contest, I doubt he's playing in this game, so does he get replaced, or do the other players just play more minutes?
On another All-Star weekend note, everyone who follows Bill Simmons on Twitter learned earlier that he and Jimmy Kimmel would be the coaches in the All-Star Celeb Game. Participating in the game will be Magic Johnson (hopefully no one still scared to guard him), Scottie Pippen (hopefully their playing for a cash prize), A.C. Green (I heard he finally got his dick wet), Jalen Rose, Chris Mullin, B.J. Armstrong, Jason Alexander, Common, and of course Justin Bieber. I wonder if the Bieb is gonna wear one of those Sasha Vujacic hair net string band thingies that make him look like he's wearing a lace front wig? If not, he should.
No word yet on why the majority of players already committed formerly played in the NBA. And yes, I'm including Common in that.
2) Tom Brady Wins Offensive Player Of The Year
No surprise here (even thought Thomas couldn't crack 4,000 yards). I wish they would've just gave him the MVP today too. Why wait?
3) Stephen A. Smith Returns To ESPN
Damn, that was fast. I think DMX was out of jail for longer than Stephen A. was away from ESPN.
Welp, welcome back Stephen, I can't wait to see him back in Bristol battling Skip Bayless on 1st & 10.
4) Homeless Couple Win Trip To Super Bowl
Wow, 2011 has been an awesome year for homeless people. First Ted Williams gets a hair cut and a bazillion job offers, and now these homeless folks get an all expense trip to Super Bowl XLV. Hell, I need to stop paying these bills so I can hurry up and get my blessing.

Page 2's 2010 NFL Logo Updates
Last year ESPN.com's Page 2 section updated NFL team logos to reflect their performances and it was so awesome they brought it back this year for midseason. There's 22 new logo this go-round, so to save time and space, I picked out my favorite 11. Enjoy!
(Side note: If you don't wanna stick around for my take, you can click here to go see all 22 logos on Page 2 now.)
Okay, nothing.
I like to call this one the "40 Year-Old Pervert." I know there's no way ESPN.com would've let them do this, but it would've been at least 80x better if the hand holding the cell phone was out in front of him and angled downwards as if he was taking a pic of his dong. That would've been nothing but classic epicness.
You gotta love Tom Brady's hair. Well, unless you're a Pats fan (dead or alive). I especially love this picture of Thomas in full-on male model mode. There's a good chance that becomes my profile picture on Twitter in the near future.
The Kansas City Patriots! I don't know why they did this and didn't do a Cincinnati Cowboys one though. Oh well, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Randy fucking Moss. After all this time, I still don't get why that whole Randy Moss "mooning" the crowd TD celebration had people so outraged. I could see if he actually pulled his pants down, but nope, nothing.
Oh well, I can't wait to see Randy in a Titans uniform! "Hide ya food, hide ya caterer" *Antoine Dodson voice.*
This Panthers logo is just so great. The eyes really set it off and bring it to life. I don't think the Panthers are choking more than I think they just suck though.
If Charlie Whitehurst didn't suck so bad last week we could've got another Tom Brady hair logo. Maybe next year...if he's still in the NFL.
This would've been a suitable logo for damn near every team in the NFL this year, especially the Packers, Steelers, Eagles, and of course Colts. It's a good thing Roger Goodell wants to add more games because who doesn't want to see 2nd and 3rd stringers (or maybe 4th or 5th if they extend the rosters as well) playing games for their favorite team??
I love Troy Polamalu and all, but how is the Steelers logo gonna have nothing to do with Ben Roethlisberger?? I don't have any suggestions as to what that logo would've been, but whatever it is, it had to be done.
F+?? Should've been a F- because everyone picked them to win the NFC West by default before the season started and they only have 2 wins through 8 games. Oh well, i still like it.
I don't think this post-Favre transition could've worked out any better for Packers fans than it did, Aaron Rodgers is fuckin' monster!
